A recent article from CNBC described the status of the housing market, and it brought out some insights that could prove to be great signs for the investor market.

According to the article, the U.S. is approaching a 15-year low in home ownership, however the housing market seems to be recovering. How does this happen? Investors.

From 2010 to 2011, the percentage of investor activity in the real estate market rose from 17% to 27%! Rental vacancies are at their lowest since 2001 and the average rent asking price in America rose 5% in a single year.

In late June, a new report released by TransUnion shed some light on the increasingly attractive real estate investor market.

Among the study’s findings, 48% of property managers surveyed say rental prices are rising, 83% say their vacancy rates are less than 5%, more than 70% say they have no vacancy at all.

These factors are pushing returns on investment higher and higher! This represents an AMAZING opportunity for those looking to build wealth through real estate investment.

The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies’ “2012 State of the Nation’s Housing Report” stated the number of renter households grew by 1 million in 2011 and it’s the largest increase since the 1980s.
