inevitablement, t'acaba evocant el jardí topiari del &lt;a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27Ann%C3%A9e_derni%C3%A8re_%C3%A0_Marienbad" target="_blank"&gt;film&lt;/a&gt; d'&lt;a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alain_Resnais" target="_blank"&gt;Alain Resnais&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;

Sobretot, destacaria "El pinsà", "Residència nuclear", "Signore" o  "Cotxe groc". fin o un medio. Es un vestigio del paraíso, igual que la cercana Potsdamer Platz es un suburbio de Babel. En esa distancia entre el jardín y las torres se separan y se juntan la inocencia de los desconocedores del primer pecado y el recelo de los vencidos por el diluvio. Berlín es una escultura forjada por la guerra; entre sus tentáculos todavía humeantes se mueve la gente con la indiferencia estoica de quien sabe que hubo un día un precio que pagar. Una d'elles era aquesta ciutat agrícola. Una utopia que aspirava a solucionar la clàssica &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;contraposició&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; entre camp i ciutat, i a integrar la producció agrícola en l'estructura urbana. La ciutat es composava de múltiples comunitats. Cadascuna d'elles ubicades sobre una plataforma de formigó, de 500 metres per 500 metres, elevada, per uns pilotis, 4 metres per sobre del sòl. Aquesta plataforma era tant estructura com &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;infraestructura&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, reservant, d'aquesta manera, tot el sòl per a producció agrícola. Cada comunitat, subdividida per una malla de 25 blocs, de 100 metres per 100 metres cadascun, acollia una població d'uns 2.000 habitants. El bloc central es reservava a equipaments públics com una escola elemental, un santuari i un temple. Després d’aquest sisme, va ser reconstruïda, uns 2 km al sud, com la típica &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_town"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14"&gt;new&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_15"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_15"&gt;town&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_16"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_16"&gt;post-corbuseriana&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. I és d'aquesta nova estructura urbana, sorgida d'una &lt;a href="http://www.enciclopedia.cat/fitxa_v2.jsp?NDCHEC=0144701"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_17"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_17"&gt;tabula&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; rasa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, que, trenta anys més tard, l'arquitecte holandès &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rem_Koolhaas"&gt;Rem &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_18"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_18"&gt;Koolhaas&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; utilitza per determinar la forma d'aquest projecte, amb clares &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_19"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_19"&gt;reminiscències&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_20"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_20"&gt;metabolistes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. L'edifici és un bloc únic dividit en dues parts: un sòcol, que pren les formes sinuoses de les dunes del seu entorn, i un sostre, que pren la forma d'una volta nuvolosa. El sòcol és on s'hi ubica un centre de convencions, amb auditoris, sales de conferències, &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_21"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_21"&gt;etc&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. I el sostre és ocupat per un gran hotel. Tot i això, incomprensiblement, encara no els havia vist mai en directe. Des d'un punt de vista, aque&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"&gt;st és un problema estrictament polític, pel qual, no hem d'oblidar pas, existeixen solucions estrictament polítiques. Des d'un altre punt de vista, és un problema social i econòmic (i per tant polític, però en un sentit més ampli): a Berlín, dos sistemes, dues estructures socio-econòmiques, s'enfronten l'un amb l'altre. Des d'un altre punt de vista, es tracta d'un problema metafísic&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"&gt;: B&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"&gt;erlín no és només Berlín, sinó també el símbol de la divisió del món, i encara més: un 'punt universal', el lloc on la reflexió sobre la unitat tan necessària com impossible s'imposa en cadascun dels que hi viu, i que, mentre hi viu, no només té l'experiència d'un lloc de residència, sinó també la de l'absència d'un lloc de residència. Això no és tot. Berlín no és només un símbol, sinó una ciutat real en la qual els drames humans desconeguts per a altres grans ciutats es realitzen: aquí, la divis&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"&gt;ió és un nom per esquinçar. Això no és tot. Berlín presenta, en termes inusuals, el problema de l'oposició entre dues cultures dins del mateix context cultural, de dos llenguatges sense relació interna dins de la mateixa llengua, i per tant qüestiona la suposició de seguret&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;at intel·lectual i la possibilitat de comunicació que normalment es concedeix a aquells que viuen junts pel fet de compartir el mateix idioma i el mateix passat històric. Pel que fa al problema de la divisió, hem de dir que Berlín és un problema indivisible. Fins el 13 agost de 1961, l'absència d'un signe visible de separació - molt abans d'aquest dia una sèrie de controls regulars i irregulars ja havien fet pressentir l'arribada enigmàtica d'una línia de demarcació - va donar a la partició un caràcter i una significació ambigus: què era?
