Might I just say I am impressed by yet another item from my VoxBox! I really cannot get over the fact that anyone can get these products for free and try them out. That just makes me so happy to know! Hahah. Anyways, I got a lip gloss and let me just tell you I was blown away by this gloss. It's the NYC Liquid Lip Shine in "Nude York City."

Opening Up

I've opened up with you guys many times before but not to the extent that I am going to tonight....or this morning. Haha.

The past two weeks have been a crazy roller coaster for me. I have gone through ups and downs to back up to back down to back up again. I know that this high place I am at now in life will eventually drop down to a low again and I am so scared for that to happen. Usually when I am low I get very depressed and just feel like doing absolutely nothing. Which brings me to another question.

"Is happiness a feeling or a choice?"

I have debated with many of my friends and even my family members over the years that I TRULY believe that you can choose to be happy or choose to be sad, upset, mad, etc. I feel this way because when I am going through struggles in my life and all of a sudden something really good happens to me I am happy again. It's amazing how one single situation can change a perspective for better or for worse.

I think the one thing that I need to work on is to find that happiness that I have had sooo many times before and channel it. I know too that a lot of the trials that have came into my life were at the times my walk with God had become almost non-existent.

Now, I am not going to sit here and preach about how you need to convert and the whole schpeel, but I do ask that you respect my beliefs and do not look down on me or judge me. I know everyone has different views, thoughts, religions, theories, and morals but I ask that you will respect mine just as I will respect yours.

Anyways, the time that I am unhappy the most is when I walk away from my God, put other worldly things in front of our relationship, and basically just say, "I can do this on my own." I then realize that I am walking away from someone that is soo powerful and has changed my life. It's when I go back and find that happiness that things start to look up for me.

I wish I could pour out my whole heart to you guys right now, but I know that I am not ready to do that, and I think if I did you would be reading for ages. What I want to know is where does your happiness come from and do you believe it's a feeling or a choice.

1. I had a HUGE problem last year and now i am going into 7th grade with a lot of worries. My best friend told this girl that I called her a bee atch and i didnt. the next day I was absent from school and I didn't know about this at all. when i came to school the day after no one would talk to me I cried in front of the guy I like and it was a train wreck! I didn't know why this was happening and one of my other best friends told me that they had plotted against me on the day that I was absent. This happened 3 different times this school year and now i dont have many friends. I am really nervous because all of the people that did this want to be my friend again and I don't want to be because they did this to me. I don't want to not have any friends but i don't want to be friends with people who will "betray" me. I really need help please please please please PLEASE! answer! ~Julee

Julee, I know it's hard, especially in middle school just because girls try to create a bunch of DUMB drama. I would say no friends are going to be perfect but the girls that did that to you weren't really your true friends anyway! Of course you will make new friends, but if you are nervous maybe try some summer activities or groups outside of school to meet new girls and you will have some friends before school starts! Dakota, I'm so sorry to hear this, I know things won't be the same just because your parents have split up but I think you should really sit down with your dad alone and tell him how you feel again and give him specific examples of the times he has ignored you. If he still continues it might be best to live with your mom. Maybe after you move out he will get the hint, feel bad, and spend more time with you. 3. dear cici, Me and my boyfriend broke up about a month ago, i still really like him but he doesn't like me. So we are having a school dance and he asked one of my bestfriends, at first she didn't answer and told me she was going to say no because she KNEW i still really likeed him. So i wasn't really worried, but then she comes to me and says she said yes, I was rrly mad at her so i didn't talk to her and started being a (insert naughty word here) her. Then he asks her out and she says yes. Now im really mad at her and she says she still feels really bad. I'm not missing her as my friend but its really awkward considering i sit beside her in almost every class. All my other friends say that she isn't a good friend for doing that. Am i overreacting? Summer, That is so hard. I really think that a TRUE friend wouldn't do that. Even if she does like him that just shows what a bad guy he is and what a bad friend she is. I don't think you overreacted at all. That is very low. Have you told her how you feel about this? Really sit down and converse with her about how you feel and how it really hurts your feelings! Taiya, I would recommend taking a break from dating for a while. Only because girls tend to be very emotional and do things they will regret later. Maybe take time to really get to know the new boy before you put your heart into a relationship. Make sure that it is really going to work out first and then take the relationship further. Jasmine, I think that is great that your relationship has lasted so long and you haven't kissed! I know so many girls that kiss on the first hang out and it doesn't work out and they get sad. I am soo amazed by this and it really makes me smile! ANYWAYS, it will happen. It happens naturally, don't feel pressured to do it in a certain time. You will know and he will know. 6. Dear Cici, So there is this guy that has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. We tell eachother EVERYTHING. A couple of months ago I started likeing him as more than a friend so I told him that I liked him. A few weeks later he told me that he liked me as more than a friend too. We are still best friends and we are always together...we walk to all of are classes together, we hang out after school, we text all the time, he walks me out after school, etc. One of the things that I really like about him is that we can talk about anything and it never gets akward. We have conversations about likeing eachother, our friends dating, I can even talk to him about girl stuff. The only thing I dont understand is that he still hasnt asked me out. He has had girlfriends in the past and he's not a shy guy and I know he likes me still. He recently asked me about valentines day <3. Jessica, I can definitely tell he likes you back and he wants to date you. If you talk about relationships, you liking each other, dating, and Valentine's Day, that means he has thought of the possibility of you two being together. He might actually be shy about it, just because he knows that you two are BEST friends and he doesn't want it to be awkward either. I would say maybe just do hints. Compliment him, even on the little things, show a true and genuine interest in you and he will start to pick up on it and take it a step forward. If you don't really care you can always take the initiative and ask him out just as friends to coffee or a movie or something. You aren't technically asking him out on a date but you two will bond and hopefully it will turn into something more! -CiCi

Dani, I think around 15 all girls feel like there's something missing. I know for a fact I had no clue what to do with my life, how to cope, or anything. I really found something I loved doing which was going to church Bible study and meeting new people. I am not sure if you're religious but if you are that is definitely something to look into. Or in general just meeting some new friends, finding a common interest. For example, you love to sing and dance, maybe join a musical theatre club either at school or outside of school. You will meet girls and boys that love doing what you do and you can connect! I hope this helps!! -CiCi

Nick, I know it must be so hard for you. I would say don't pressure yourself to do anything. Just wait until you feel 100% ready and willing. I know you want to tell everyone but there are just some people that can be so hurtful. I personally have struggled with rascism, and many of the comments made are just completely unnecessary! YOu just have to remember that everyone that says something rude is struggling with their own insecurities. My favorite quote is "hurt people, hurt people." Keep your head up and stay strong! 9. Hi CiCi, Ever since 7th grade started my best friend has not been the same. . When 7th grade started , She started doing really bad things. She started smoking and drinking. There were rumors going around that she did " it". When I asked her if that was true she said yeah. I still care about her and I want to get her to stop drinking/smoking but everytime I tell her to she just rolls her eyes and says "Its cool im not gunna stop" If you were in this situation , what would you do? Rose, I actually hate to say this but I have been in your situation. I had a really close friend start out being a very mild mannered and conservative girl and basically ruin her body and herself. I tried so hard to help her, guide her, and give her advice but as sad as it is, you just have to sit by and watch them make their own mistakes. They don't really want to listen and have the "I don't care" attitude. Needless to say, my friend did come back around, she went to a rehab center, worked out her problems and is 3 years sober. I will keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers. -CiCi

Well my birthday is next month, & I'll be turning 13.. & my mom was talking about that I would probably have to go for a gynecologist visit.. she says that now days you're supposed to go when you turn 13. Mari, There is absolutely nothing to be worried about, the first check up they really don't do much, you sit and answer a few questions. The doctors will go over what to expect, talk about girl life, development, and everything else! It is very easy and you usually only have to go once a year! Sometimes longer! The doctors will be very caring and nice. There is nothing much to worry about like I said! :) Take care! -CiCi

Purple Makeup Look

Today I decided to upload a summertime light purple makeup tutorial. I really liked the colors and lilacs look great on anybody! Here is my step by step process!

Step 1: Prime your lids, and aply the lilac color in the revlon quad wild orchids.

Step 2: Take the color lilac from Revlon and place it all over the lid. With the flat shadow brush.

Step 3: Take the pink tapered crease brush and apply the light and dark purple to the outer corner.

Step 4: Line your upper lashline with the Lorel Telescopic Mascara and then use the Rimmel Day 2 Night mascara on your upper and lower lashes.

Step 5: Then using the liner brush and the black color in the sleek makeup palette liner the lower lashline.

Step 6: Take a light white/cream color and use it as a highlight to highlight under the brow bone and in the inner tearduct.

Anyways, back to the subject of this post! TRACK!! I have been loving it! It is such a challenge for me and I am willing to stick it out and keep doing it! The funny thing is you could ask any of my friends if ever in my life I would have done track and they will all say, "CiCi? Track? PSSSSHHH yeah right!" What I love about that is I am defying the odds and going out there and working at something that I am not good at whatsoever! I always come in last, and trust me, I am wayyy far behind the rest of the girls! I used to be embarrassed by it, but you know what? I am doing it and sticking it out and that makes me one of the happiest people of all! Who cares what the other people say about me!

Also, it has really been helping me in the weight loss process too! I have had a lot less time to eat and on top of it I am burning calories in the process! It is great! It keeps me occupied and not even thinking about food! It also makes me more conscious of my diet and foods that I no longer even want to eat anymore, just because of the sheer fact that I want to lose this weight and prom is only 7 weeks away and spring break is only 9 weeks! Wow, I better get cracking!

As the year starts to warm up out here in Vegas girls start having their birthday parties and a lot of the parties are pool parties at one of our local hotels on the strip!! Not only does that mean a public pool but it also means that hundreds upon hundreds of people are going to be there. That give me all the more motivation!!

That is basically my life in a nutshell!! Sorry if I haven't been replying to your comments or messages lately, let alone even putting up a video!!! I am going to pre-film 7 videos every Saturday so I have one to upload every day during the week!

True Beauty!

So lately the one thing that has been constantly on my mind is looks! I always feel like I have to compare myself with other girls, whether it is at school, on YouTube, on Facebook, and even just celebrities! I think the one thing that I have to realize though is I can only make myself look as best as I can! I can't compare myself to the other girls because in reality I will never look like them and I have been fearfully and wonderfully made as it says in the Bible!

I do have control over myself and how I look and act! I know it is sooooo cliche but at the end of the day it truly is whats on the inside that counts, because what happens when you are this gorgeous girl and your face gets burned in a fire! I know that is an EXTREME and rare case but it has happened before! Then all you are left with is what is on the inside! Also, everyone gets older by the minute and when the looks start to dwindle we are back to what is left on the inside.

Anyways, I always tend to run off on a tangent and never stick to my point! Basically what I was about to say is I have control over myself and I need to be the best I can be! A big thing has to do with my weight! If I could get down to where I naturally should be then it would definitely help! I really have no clue where I am going with this but it all turns back to I guess me wanting to lose this extra weight that I do have and finally be content with my body! I hope I can make it to my goal by the summer and I need all of the help I can get! Thanks so much for even just reading this! (: Any tips in the comments are more than welcome! Night girls!! <3

Chai Lattes!

So my new obsession....well sorry I just lied! My OLD obsession hahah is a Chai Latte! I was introduced to them by my Bible study leader and she has given me this not so horrible addiction to drink them! I could seriously live in a hot tub full of them! No wait...that would be gross! I would maybe just like to have a lifetime supply of them! Sadly, since I have started back up at weight watchers I have calculated a 16 oz one and the point value of it is 5! For those who don't know about the points values basically 5 is a lot for a drink! I only get 29 a day and 5 is about the amount of my breakfast in total! :( I will forever miss them but I NEED to get this weight off!!!! So I have set up a reward system for myself! For every 10 lbs I lose I will treat myself to one and I still have to count the points! Let me know what you all think and in the comments what your favorite drink is!! (:
