Mark & Carrie from Georgia decided to exchange their vows on the beach in South Carolina. They rented a quaint summer home for the weekend, only steps away from the white sands of Folly Beach. Accompanied by their families, a handful of friends, and beautiful summer afternoon sunshine, they had their perfect white wedding.

Shooting the groom and his boys is usually a fun thing to do. However, Shawn and his crew were even crazier than most others. Running, jumping, climbing trees – the boys wanted to be boys.

Michael & Michelle’s wedding at Villa Vizcaya in Miami

Although Michael and Michelle live in Palm Beach, they decided to make their day extra special by choosing one of the most spectacular landmarks here in South Florida. The Villa Vizcaya in Miami was built in the early 1900′s by industrialist James Deering and still today attracts thousands of visitors every year. The beautiful location mixed with the picture perfect summer afternoon made for a wonderful celebration!

Colleen & Steve’s Beach wedding at Mattheson Hammock

The love story of Colleen & Steve all began in Central Park, NYC. It was lunch time and the two happened to sit next to each other on a park bench. Two years later they decided to exchange their vows in beautiful South Florida. We had the pleasure to photograph the ceremony and a really great party at The Red Fish Grill in Mattheson Hammock park.

Trash the dress with Jennifer

About two months after her wedding Jennifer contacted us and wanted to book a “trash the dress session.” Here at Ciel Bleu we started brainstorming for a location.

That evening I happened to look through my grandparent’s honeymoon album from 1946. They had taken some photos as they waited for the train. The images of the trains stayed embedded in my mind.

We immediately called Jen and asked her if she wanted to shoot at an old train yard in Miami. She loved the idea! Here are some of the images that we shot that Friday morning at the train yard.

June 16, a beautiful summer’s day. There was a warm breeze that came off the Biscayne Bay. It was a perfect day for Tracy & Julia from Texas to have a small and quaint wedding on a sailboat. With champagne in their hands, and the sunset over Miami they exchanged their vows.
