Jamo Launch Audiophile Quality In Wall Speakers IW 827 LCR

Well known speaker manufacture Jamo have released a in wall audiophile speaker called the IW 827 LCR. The IW 827 LCR is a 2.5-way design with a 1-inch DTT silk dome tweeter located between the 7-inch woofer and a 7-inch midrange/woofer. They both feature high-end fiberglass/honeycomb composite drivers. Anf according to Jamo this design, coupled with a unique crossover, achieves excellent vertical sound dispersion without the midrange cancellation that can happen in a traditional two-way speaker’s layout.

Panasonic have chosen this years CEATEC show oven in Japan to showcase their built in wireless HD technology. First showcased at IFA 2008, which took place in Germany in August, this is the first time that the company has showcased it in Japan. Wireless HD can pass along 1080p content using the 60GHz band milliwave, and data transmissions speeds can reach up to 4Gbps.

Denon have launched a new Blu-ray Transport player the DVD-2500BT. The £900 machine is a transport, so it can concentrate on reading the Blu-ray disc, without decoding it.
