这个评论写得真好，不管是大到国家，还是小到一个公司，只有那种真正有内在核心价值观，才能真正健康地发展壮大， 不管碰到各种艰难困苦，都能不断地往前演化进化。如果没有这些，即便表面无比风光，都只是虚胖，真正严重危机到来的时候，都会轰然倒下。

如果还有人对美国是否凡事都有可能存疑，还有人怀疑美国奠基者的梦想在我们所处的时代是否依然鲜活，还有人质疑我们的民主制度的力量，那么今晚，这些问题都有了答案。

这是设在学校和教堂的投票站前排起的前所未见的长队给出的答案；是等了三四个小时的选民所给出的答案，其中许多人都是有生以来第一次投票，因为他们认定这一次肯定会不一样，认为自己的声音会是这次大选有别于以往之所在。

这是所有美国人民共同给出的答案－－无论老少贫富，无论是民主党还是共和党，无论是黑人、白人、拉美裔、亚裔、原住民，是同性恋者还是异性恋者、残疾人还是健全人－－我们从来不是“红州”和“蓝州”的对立阵营，我们是美利坚合众国这个整体，永远都是。

“If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

“It’s the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen, by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different, that their voices could be that difference.

“It’s the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled, Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states.

“We are, and always will be, the United States of America.

“It’s the answer that led those who’ve been told for so long by so many to be cynical and fearful and doubtful about what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.

“It’s been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this date in this election at this defining moment, change has come to America.

“A little bit earlier this evening, I received an extraordinarily gracious call from Senator McCain.

“Senator McCain fought long and hard in this campaign. And he’s fought even longer and harder for the country that he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine. We are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader.

“I congratulate him; I congratulate Governor (Sarah) Palin for all that they’ve achieved. And I look forward to working with them to renew this nation’s promise in the months ahead.

“I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart, and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on the train home to Delaware, the vice president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.

“And I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last 16 years, the rock of our family, the love of my life, the nation’s next first lady Michelle Obama.

“Sasha and Malia I love you both more than you can imagine. And you have earned the new puppy that’s coming with us to the new White House.

“And while she’s no longer with us, I know my grandmother’s watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight. I know that my debt to them is beyond measure.

“To my sister Maya, my sister Alma, all my other brothers and sisters, thank you so much for all the support that you’ve given me. I am grateful to them.

“And to my campaign manager, David Plouffe, the unsung hero of this campaign, who built the best - the best political campaign, I think, in the history of the United States of America.

“To my chief strategist David Axelrod who’s been a partner with me every step of the way. To the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics, you made this happen and I am forever grateful for what you’ve sacrificed to get it done.

“But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to. It belongs to you. It belongs to you.

“I was never the likeliest candidate for this office.

“We didn’t start with much money or many endorsements.

“Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington. It began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.

“It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give 5 and 10 and 20 to the cause.

“It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation’s apathy, who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep.

“It drew strength from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on doors of perfect strangers, and from the millions of Americans who volunteered and organised and proved that more than two centuries later a government of the people, by the people, and for the people has not perished from the Earth.

“This is your victory.

“And I know you didn’t do this just to win an election. And I know you didn’t do it for me.

“You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime - two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century.

“Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us.

“There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after the children fall asleep and wonder how they’ll make the mortgage or pay their doctors’ bills or save enough for their child’s college education.

“There’s new energy to harness, new jobs to be created, new schools to build, and threats to meet, alliances to repair.

“The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term. But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there.

“I promise you, we as a people will get there.

“There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won’t agree with every decision or policy I make as president. And we know the government can’t solve every problem.

“But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And, above all, I will ask you to join in the work of remaking this nation, the only way it’s been done in America for 221 years - block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.

“What began 21 months ago in the depths of winter cannot end on this autumn night.

“This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.

“And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces, to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of the world, our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand.

“To those - to those who would tear the world down: We will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security: We support you. And to all those who have wondered if America’s beacon still burns as bright: Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.

“And tonight, I think about all that she’s seen throughout her century in America - the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can’t, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes we can.

“At a time when women’s voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes we can.

“When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs, a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can.

“When the bombs fell on our harbour and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can.

“She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that ‘We Shall Overcome’. Yes we can.

“A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination.

“And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change.

“Yes we can.

“America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves - if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?

“This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment.

“This is our time, to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth, that, out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can’t, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can.

其中核心的几个亮点理论和大家做个分享：
1）不是所有的创新都能成为好的商业，创新可以分为维持性创新和破坏性创新。
2）维持性创新的项目通常胜出的是原来这些行业中扮演重要作用的企业，而破坏性创新可以使得创业企业获得做大的机会。比如说网上银行是一个维持性创新，这种创新只会有利于原有的银行，很少有企业可以创造一个专门做网上银行的公司。
3)破坏性创新有两种主要的方法，一种是低端破坏，一种是“非市场”破坏。所谓低端破坏指的是以低价、便利性等来争抢现有市场企业的客户，逐步从低端走到高端。我想国内绝大多数制造业企业都采用这种方式与国际市场客户竞争，比如格兰仕，比如华为之于思科。所谓“非市场”破坏指的是与“非消费”客户竞争来发展市场，通俗来说就是让一些本来不是客户的用户发展为客户。

用这个理论来反思一下互联网行业的一些项目成败，能发现一些惊人的重合。
比如原来的许多博客内容网站，如博客中国，中国博客等等，获得了很多风投的钱，但都没有成功，为什么，因为这两个网站以博客内容为主，而这种方式的创新属于维持性创新，这当然是sina，sohu等传统互联网媒体大老发挥优势的地方，维持性创新竞争中胜利者通常是传统企业。而我们看Blogbus，他们的策略与博客中国等完全不同，他们是做博客寄存服务，为个人提供个性化博客空间，采用这种方式的竞争，市场做的是与“非消费”竞争，即吸引那些原来不写博客的人来拥有自己独立的博客空间。国外的techcrunch，Wordpress，typepad等博客网站，他们也采用不同的策略得以在各自领域胜出。
在google出来搜索引擎之前，有altavista，lycos，yahoo等诸多搜索引擎，为什么他能胜出呢？或许google 的搜索算法更好，但也有很多人把google的成功归结于简单的界面，给用户传达非常明确的焦点：在这个叫google的网站上，你只能做搜索，其他什么不能干；想找什么，输入回车马上搞定。不像yahoo等又是搜索，又是门户。所以google成功的主要原因在于他们制造了一种低端破坏：其实互联网用户也有成本，google简单的页面设计不仅大大降低了用户认知的成本，也依靠访问速度的提升和达成同样目的需要更少点击的操作降低了用户的使用成本。

在taobao出来之前，我们都知道eachnet，我们当时都以为拍卖就是易趣，易趣就是拍卖。taobao策略的成功其实不是对着易趣已有的用户去的，而是对着那些大量的“非消费”用户去的，即当时还有千千万万的不知道使用C2C平台的用户。这一招打开了潘多拉魔盒，一发不可收拾。

马丁 路德 金，美国黑人律师，是美国黑人民权运动领袖，浸礼会教堂牧师，非暴力主义者。他被誉为近百年来八大最具有说服力的演说家之一。

1）这两年来，经历的困难是投身到这个项目之前不可想象的，困难不仅仅在于初期技术研究上的；还在于如何在资金有限的情况下坚定地控制成本，完成大量城市采集；还在于学会如何从做软件的思维向做互联网的思维，而二者的差别还是很大很大的；还在于艰苦的商业模式探索；更在于如何在薪资待遇非常有限，团队成员面临猎头诱惑甚至挖角的情况下能让自己和大家心中的信念永不磨灭，坚定地相信未来；更在于和合伙人，公司创业合作伙伴们一起相信我们的坚守是值得的。

2）坦率来说，过去两年实在不是什么创业的好时光，一方面，房价暴涨造成的全面性通货膨胀把大家都压得揣不过气来。官方的CPI不过是掩耳盗铃的游戏，如果把房产价格等考虑进去，通货膨胀率没有百分之三十也有百分之二十。另一方面，大量外资公司的涌入把薪资水平不断拉高，猎头公司不断骚扰那些经受过锻炼和考验的公司骨干成员。次贷危机使得国内的风投们不约而同挤着去做上市前preipo的项目，前期项目要么不敢投，要么估值低得我不得不拒绝，想想一个模仿我们、并且晚我们一年度的项目在美国可以拿到千万美金级别的首轮融资，实在是不得不佩服老美整个创业环境的优越，恨不能生在那个万恶的资本主义国家：）。 虽然有几位团队成员的离开一度让我不能适应，但静下心来，我非常理解他们的决定，我们不能指望那些刚从学校出来短短几年的同事们都和我们一样想着事业、事业、事业。他们要买房，他们要结婚，他们面临社会的、家庭的以及自己心理渴望快速成功的压力比我们当初要大得多。

3）尽管碰到许许多多这样那样的艰难困苦，我依然要说，我们两年多年的努力和坚持是值得的。我为我们取得的成绩感到自豪，我为我们未来的希望感到激动。这种自豪，这种激动时常能让我半夜兴奋得不能入睡，也能让我半夜惊醒过来，奋笔疾书。看看过去两年我们交出的成绩单吧。

我们完成了世界上第一台城市全景采集车的研制，不止在中国申请了众多专利，而且也到老美去申请专利了，我们的采集设备在不断更新，我们的算法研究从未停歇，如果哪一天我们又弄出一个惊世骇俗的东西出来，你们千万别感到奇怪，因为这是我们的风格；

我们在没有外来投资的情况下，通过严苛的成本控制完成了三十多个城市的数据采集；

我们这个只有几百万注册资本的小公司接到了2010上海世博会的诸多项目，而且我们和世博成立了实景地图的联合实验室从事产业化开发；

我们网站从alpha1到beta4经历了7个版本的开发，网站用户量从最初的每天上百人增长了上千倍，到现在每天近10万人访问；

在这些大量用户的基础上，在项目运营过程中，我们又不断发现新的机会点和价值点；

4）如果说有什么缺憾的话，应该包括以下几个方面：

用人上是我第一个应该检讨的地方，为了公司的整体利益，为了项目长期的发展，我不应该陷入太细节的设计工作，而应该而且一定要尽早去寻找、挖掘到最合适的人选来从事相关的工作，尽早完成项目核心团队的组建工作，这样不仅自己可以使得项目整体推进更为顺利更加专业，也可以腾出更多的时间来做宏观的思考和规划。让专业的人来做专业的事、做公司最关键的就是做人力资源工作，我现在对这两句话的理解比两年前要深刻得多。

战略选择上是我第二个要检讨的地方，当然者有自己视野和经验的问题。在整个项目执行推动过程中，还是有非常多的摇摆，核心的问题是对目标用户和典型应用的提炼和界定不够清楚。如果可以在更早的时间确定这些，相信整个项目发展到目前的阶段也不用7个版本，时间上会节省一半左右。

战术成面，技术方案的选择上也是一个问题，应该尽早确定技术方案，而技术方案一旦确定就不应轻易发生变化，核心技术框架的搭建要尽早搭建完成；对质量的要求要更苛刻无情，不能轻易妥协；要能拒绝那些似是而非的诱惑，瞄准你的目标而去，其他都当成泡泡不去理会。

总结一下，如果再来一遍，我们应该做好更清晰的目标客户的界定，应用的界定，不同阶段里程碑的设定，同时在不同阶段中坚定地追求不同阶段应该追求的核心目标，不妄自菲薄，也不贪大求全。

一转眼，又两点多了，该洗洗睡了。

1、首先整个网站的logo、口号以及整个网页的界面全部重新设计。整体界面给你感觉非常清爽。原来有个朋友说我们把一个一流的东西放在一个二流的UI中，非常可惜，希望这个升级可以改变他的判断。

2、全景窗口的漫游体验提升
1）在全景图中增加了“脚印功能”，用户只要点击脚印就可以在道路沿街行走，特别是到路口的地方，想拐弯等操作的时候会非常方便。
做互联网项目以外，有个深刻的体会，就是要把用户想得足够傻瓜，具体来说，把用户都想象成只会用鼠标，而且只会进行左键单击的用户，只有这样才能把体验做得足够简单。
2）前后走，加“入穿越效果”。原来版本的前后走给人的感觉是突跳的，新版本引入“穿越效果”，通过用户的视觉暂留，极大增强用户身临其境的前后走体验，有了这种穿越，用户在走的时候压力和挫折感大幅降低。美中不足的是，让用户CPU较差时，穿越的效果不是非常流畅。这点希望可以继续改善。
3）在全屏模式下，引入“虚化”效果取代原来的马赛克效果。马赛克效果会给人画质很低劣的感觉，采用虚化后心理感受好了很多。

2、商家信息陈列
1）商家行业类别重新确定，原来的商家类别重点不够突出，本版本中，我们重点找那些和大家生活比较密切的商家，把那些相对冷门的商家收缩处理。商家类别排序上也做到很多细致的处理，希望经过这样的处理能更方便用户的使用。

2）我们把所有整个城市的商家按照地域和行业做了二维的交叉，这样用户想找商家会非常方便。举个例子，如果我想在张江找个川菜馆，我只要选者川菜这个类别，然后再点击张江就把所有张江的川菜馆陈列出来。
目前美中不足的就是整个商家的数量还不够多，现在平台好了以后，计划下半年重点把商家数量丰富起来。

整个beta4版本的推出凝聚了团队成员的心血，unik的设计和细节执行上让我印象深刻，jerry的UI设计使得网站整体UI水平上了一个台阶，hunter及其开发小组成员emma，jo，Jasmine也一直在全力以付。flash播放器方面chris贡献突出。david, vidar，kevin，paul也都有各自的贡献，内容方面，ray及其编辑团队也做出明显贡献。

就目前一天的情况来看，每用户PV数量增长明显，停留时间明显变长。是一个很好的起点，希望beta4能成为我们项目发展的新起点，让我们坚实地一步步迈向目标。
