Most of you who know me know that me volunteering at a children's camp is not big news. :) However, this camp was different. It was for children who have fathers that have served in the military and paid the ultimate price for the freedom of others. 175 kids showed up and each of them had suffered a great loss. What a week it has been so far! I have been volunteering with the Chapel to help put on Vacation Bible School for the kids at RAF Croughton. We've had around 70 kids each night and what a joy it has been. It has worn me out but it has been a joy. We do it in the evening because most of the volunteers work during the day. Planes from all over the globe showing off what they can do. One of the most impressive planes was the Russian Mig 29. One wouldn't think possible the things it could do. Very impressive. The most enjoyable part though is the air acrobat teams.
