A huge big congratulations to Hollie and Dan who announced their engagement recently and what better way to celebrate than to do an Save The Date – Pillow Fight Shoot with an awesome car   This will be the same car that Dan will fix up for their wedding, so when it is completed it will look amazing.  Thanks again guys I never thought I would get this preview out to you before my departure but miracles Can happen LOL, thanks again for the most AWESOME DAY !!! – ohhh and thanks Dan for the Beer, my shout next time !!   ENJOY THIS SAVE THE DATE SHOOT !!!!

Well what can I say about these two beautiful people, my wife and I have known Kaycee for some time and it has been a pleasure getting to know Dwayne as well, when Kaycee asked me to do the photography for their wedding, I was super excited, as well as a little nervous, there is something about photographing a friends wedding that can be a little scary LOL, I have to say that I had an awesome time, even though I was the photographer for the wedding, I managed to feature in a couple of shots if you look closely.  Kaycee and Dwayne were married out at highfields on a beautifully overcast day, perfect conditions.  How awesome does everyone look, I love the vintage twist with this wedding, so cool and so perfect !!!   Love you guys and I hope that you LOVE your photos   Hugs Darren, Sarena and Addy !!

I am very excited to bring you the next wedding of Danielle and James that took place in Toowoomba, firstly I apologise for the long delay in getting this wedding blogged, you see life has been busy after my operation and add the fact that I am off with the family to Italy for 4 weeks in the next 7 days and you have yourself one crazy busy person   None the less the wedding of Danielle and James was sensational, we had HOT HOT conditions and a totally awesome bridal party.  Thanks to my partner in crime Adam for your assistance on the day much appreciated.  Finally without holding this blog post any more than I have already, I just wanted to wish Danielle and James the most awesome time and thank you for allowing me to be part of your superb day.  Hope you LOVE your preview   Cheers Darren

Wow, so much has been going on, and I have been so slack at getting this blog post out, sorry for the delay everyone   Sara and John were married at Preston Peak Chapel, it was for a change a beautiful and HOT day, however the sunset was something to be seen, a huge congrats to the luck couple thank you to the bridesmaids and groomsmen and last but not least the lovely couple.  You guys were such fun to be around,  Thanks again and I hope you enjoy your honeymoon !!  Cheers Darren

This was my last wedding for the year, I must admit that I had been looking forward to this wedding for a very long time,I know the couple and their family so it was a tiny bit of added pressure LOL.  Shannon and Adam’s wedding day theme was all about love and music and I have to say tears flowed by the bucket load when this beautiful couple said their “I DO’s”  and the fun, enjoyment and wonderful family feeling to this magical wedding was intoxicating, you could not help but get caught up in the festivities.  The ceremony was held atPeppers Salt Resort and Spa @ Kingscliff, followed by the ceremony in the grand ballroom (the Bangalow pork entree was AWESOME !!) We had some time to head down to Cabaritta beach to take some formal shots, and then back to celebrate the reception.  A very special thank you for both sets of parents, you really did make us feel so welcome, the bridal party……………  you guys “ROCKED”  !!!! and finally the newly weds Shannon and Adam thank you for allowing myself and Sarena to be part of one of the best weddings that I have been too, filled with heaps of fun, love and of course laughter.

Thanks to everyone who follows my blog and Facebook page and for all the emails to find out what I have been up to, I assure you that I have been a busy little person with weddings and album design and meetings etc etc, I did get the opportunity recently to do some work with the Lovely Jane Gilbey Photography, and lovely styling by Allure & Grace Styling.  What a sensational afternoon, Here are a couple of shots from the shoot.  Thank you of course to our wonderful couple and family – Dean, Michelle (kids) Molly, Noah, Charlotte & Gabby.

Zarinah and Aiden’s beautiful wedding day was in Port Douglas, a wonderful part of the world. I must admit I had been looking forward to this wedding for a very long time. I arrived on Friday and got the opportunity to meet my couple plus their beautiful baby boy Flynn, as you can imagine when I met this wonderful couple, I knew the wedding day was going to have a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and not to mention a hell of a lot of laughs,  and that is exactly what we had.  The reception took place at the very modern and lavish QT Resort, (which for the record has the BEST breakfast i have ever eaten in any hotel around the world)  I know big call !!!  Anyway I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank Zarinah and Aidens family and friends for making us feel so very welcome, it really was such a privilege to be a part of this wedding day and I hope you like this little peek of the wedding of Zarinah and Aiden.  Quick mention to my assistant Jason, mate could not have done it without you (the running man),  Congrats guys and I hope you love it   Cheers Darren

It gives me the greatest of pleasure to introduce my next beautiful couple Katrina and Luke, who were married in Noosa recently.  The one thing I love about weddings is the variety in every wedding that I do, I totally enjoy blending in with the couple and their guests very much, and when the opportunity come up to be the photographer for Katrina and Luke, I was thrilled.  The day was one of the most beautiful days, stunning afternoon with wonderful friendship and company, such a wonderful wedding and Katrina, Luke and the entire bridal party were simply awesome.  Anyway sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful wedding of Katrina + Luke.  The reception was held at the beautiful “The Boat House” Noosa.  Congrats guys you were simply awesome and I hope that you love this little preview   Cheers Darren.

Well it gives me the greatest of pleasure to introduce this beautiful wedding which took place at the stunning Jimbour House out at Dalby.  For anyone that has not been there before it is simply stunning, with a beautiful grand old homestead and surrounds to die for, it truly is one of the most beautiful locations that I have been too for some time. .  Thank you Natalie for organizing that such a special treat.  The day went off without a hitch with the exception of the rain.  Basically after the ceremony the rain started so we had to make the most of the situation.  I am sure you will all agree there are so many stunning areas taking photos was the easy part.  The reception was held in a plane hangar which is located on the property, with a lot of organization from my beautiful bride Natalie.  Just a quick note to say thank you so much to Nat and Chris and the whole bridal party, you guys were just fantastic !!!  It gives me the greatest of pleasure to preview the wedding of Natalie and Chris.  I look forward to your comments.  Thanks to my partner in crime Loren – Very much appreciated Loz.

Talk about a beautifully relaxed wedding !! – Chelsea and Adam had the most beautiful wedding in Toowoomba on Carnival weekend, traditionally on carnival weekend everyone merges on the gardens and the flowers which is what we all decided to avoid.  After a very kind gesture from a property owner we were able to enjoy a very country feel to the wedding photos.  I had the most enjoyable time with Chelsea & Adam and the entire bridal party.  The conditions were simply sensational.  Congratulations guys and I hope you love this little peek at your wedding photos   Hugs and best wishes – Darren !
