Oh, sweet Reese. How is it that you are already turning 1!? It seems like just yesterday that we were all anxiously anticipating your arrival, and I was capturing those first few days of your life. You have brought so much joy to everyone around you, and my hope is that you will always know how dearly loved you are. Happy birthday sweet girl! ~Love, Aunt Claire.

It’s Here: Welcome to the NEW blogsite!

Many of you might have noticed it’s been a bit quiet over here lately. Between getting married and moving into a new house, life has been busy around here! Now that we’re happily adjusting into married life, and I can officially say the name change process to Claire Mueller is complete, I’m back at work and excited for what the future holds for Claire Smith Photography! (By the way, we’re keeping things simple and the business name “Claire Smith Photography” will remain the same.) No worries, I got my hubby David’s approval on that one ☺ During my time off, I’ve been hard at work behind the scenes creating and revamping a few things, one of which I can’t wait to share with you today.

So, without further ado, I am thrilled to finally announce the new blogsite for Claire Smith Photography! www.clairesmith.com is the one place to go, where you can then access everything from my portfolio to session info. to the most recent sessions and updates here on the blog. Bonus, you can now view everything on your mobile or tablet device (e.g. smart phone, iPad)! No more of those annoying flash plugin errors you’d get if you previously tried to view my old website on your iPhone. I hope this new blogsite will be an easier and more enjoyable way to learn about the studio and stay connected with us.

Now that the remainder of 2012 is just about booked, stay tuned in for new posts from this fall’s upcoming sessions! I’m even going to play catchup and post from a few favorite sessions from last fall that I never got a chance to share. And be sure to subscribe to the blog and/or “like” our facebook page so you don’t miss out on any of the fun!

Will & Reese + Georgia

Busy season is in full swing and thus most of my waking hours are spent at sessions, meetings, or in front of the computer chained to my desk editing away! As always, for the sessions I do have a chance to blog this fall, I won’t be posting the “best” family shots from those. I want all my clients to be able to surprise their friends & family if they use one of those images for their Christmas cards. Don’t want to spoil the fun of that!

Ok, now to start off my round of fall sessions, here’s a sneak peek from a recent session I’m finishing the edits for right now. I look forward to seeing this sweet family each year when fall rolls around. This year’s fall session was full of energy & lots of laughter, as you can probably tell by the first image ;)
