I Need More Soap…

…to get my breast milk worked. I am really worried that I could no longer continue breastfeeding to my baby. As the days go on, I noticed my breast milk was fading. No matter how I patiently and continually let my baby suck my nipple for the milk to work its magic, but nothing has come out. Does it mean I need lots of soaps? My mother advised me to drink more soap because it is the only way my breast produce lots of milk. Well, I am kind of guilty about it because honestly right now I have no more time to prepare such kind of dish than what we already had on the table. The baby requires my attention more than my time to cook just to have some “soapy” dish for a meal. According to lots of Moms I talked, it is really important to drink lots of fluids in order for the breast to produce milk. And I believe it’s true. But, is it also true that there are some women cannot produce milk after giving birth? In my case, I do have milk alright but not enough to supply the baby’s feeding needs. As what my mother always says, I need more soap!

Nursing is a different experience for every mother and baby, so what works for other mother may also works to the next.

SMART BRO Where Is My Internet Connection!

I was off line for almost one week due to failed internet connection, and I hate it. SMART Communication office disconnected my wireless internet connection because of delayed payment. I know it was my fault, I understand, and I know my obligation, but when I made payment just three days ago, I was kind of pissed off because I still didn’t have access to my wireless internet connection. And I was being redirected to their customer service for billing inquiry that took me for like, forever to get a response? Which I haven’t get. I tried to call their Smart customer service hot line but the answering machine was being difficult to me? LOL! I was almost to get somebody to talk to me but before I had the chance, the answering machine again, was asking for a “telephone pin?” I was like, what the heck is telephone pin? I got impatient so I hang up the phone. So, I decided to visit their office before I got crazy. What made me more furious when I went to their office three times, but when I got home, still there was no internet connection. I almost lost my temper and reprimanded the sales lady there. Good thing she was just being kind to me and explained completely the reason of such failure. I hope this won’t happen again.

So, I am back on line! Yeheeeeeey!

Wow! How many more annulment we are going to hear from showbiz personalities? It seems that annulment has become the “trend” in showbiz world.

Just like any other showbiz couples, Kris Aquino and James Yap just recently announced their marriage was officially annulled. From what I have heard from their interviews, they were happy about it, and relieved that it was finally granted. They were asked what their message to each other. And they utter one common message by saying…” I wish she/he will find happiness from someone”. I hope by “someone” they will not end up another annulment case again!. Now that they are both free again, I am certain a lot of women/men are longing to be the next James Yap’s wife and Kris Aquino’s husband LOL!.

It was Kris Aquino’s birthday last February 14, the day the world celebrates “Love day”. I saw her “Kris Aquino RealiTV” via ABS-CBN network where she showed her travel abroad together with her two kids, Baby James whom she calls now Bimbi, and Joshua. To you Kris…Happy birthday!

There’s Always A First Time…

As a new Parent for our baby boy, we have been experiencing a lot of new things especially when it comes to babies. Every time there’s a little going on with the baby, like skin rashes, eye discharges (bacterial infections of the eye), loud crying etc., my husband and I went nuts and decided immediately to take the baby to the doctor. Even his hiccup, my husband wanted me to do something about it? LOL! Well that’s one thing I am certain it’s not going to be a problem for the baby’s health. So I assured him not to panic because it is natural. We have been to two different doctors for just one week, his Pedia, for his skin rashes, and the other one is Opthalmologist, for his eye. We want nothing but the good health of our baby while he is just a tiny little person. You can call us over –acting parents, but that’s what it is. My Sister who had already four kids, and an experienced Mom, advised me not to panic and be patient about the baby. I was like…”easy for you to say that Sis!”. I know I am a worrier kind of person but it’s different now when you have a baby already, you tend to be calm in everything and to be strong for him. Well I am excited as I am about to take this journey of a motherhood. As what my Doctor said…there’s always a first time.

WHITNEY HOUSTON at the age of 48, was pronounced dead by the Beverly hills police, on Saturday, in her hotel room.

It was depressing that someone like her who was idolized by so many was ruined because of abusive use of drugs. I for one was a huge fan of her. I used to sing her songs whenever I had the chance to go to a Karaoke Bar. Until now when Magic Sing was invented I still love to sing her songs at home. Her songs that every aspiring singers love to sing during singing competition was always a winning piece. Who could forget the greatest hits of “ The Greatest Love of ll”, “I will always Love you”, etc., all of these had sold millions and won various awards in the record industry.

Her passing was a big lost in the Music industry. I believe there are other excellent singers out there but Whitney’s voice is matchless. Her golden voice can make your day. We will miss you Whitney…You are truly an amazing singer.

It’s been 15 days and 14 sleepless nights of unstoppable job of changing diapers, feedings and soothing my newly born little angel, but nothing Mommy can’t handle. I know every Mom can totally relate what I have been experiencing right now. This new job of a Mom is quiet very tiring but the moment you look at your child all your anxieties were gone. Before my baby was born, I always brag about how good and expert I was when taking care of babies because of my experience with my nieces and nephews when they were just infant. But I was surprised to find out the difference when you are taking care of your own baby. Sometimes you just broke into tears (tears of joy) because you couldn’t believe he was coming from you and that GOD gave him to you. I know there’s more to come and more sleepless nights but like I said…NOTHING MOMMY CAN’T HANDLE! Do you agree with me mommies?

I am not an accounting major when I graduated from college, but my 11 years of experience working in an accounting department as a clerk, I have learned how important accounting software in the business to run smoothly. It was a big company that requires staffs who are major in accountancy. But the job was come in handy through the use of accounting software.

Just like if you started a small business, it is very important to organize your finances all in one place. It is easy for you to keep track all the records and all your accounting transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable etc., without the hassle of going through all the spreadsheets and lots of piles of papers and sticky notes everywhere. Although there was a big difference with the demand of managing a small business and a large enterprise. But using the right tool in managing your business finances is one way to make your business grow.

Which Do You Prefer, A Normal Delivery or A C.Section?

Every pregnant woman longed to have a normal delivery. Aside from the fact that a C.Section is extremely expensive if you go to a private hospital, the pain and the discomfort you have to endure after the operation, while at the same time taking care of your baby, is unbearable but it is also fulfilling. What will happen during labor is unpredictable. No matter how eager and persistent you are to your doctor to have a normal delivery, and no matter how hard you tried to get that baby out from your Uterus if the chance is only 20%, you have no choice but let the Doctor decide and do his/her job to have that baby delivered safely, otherwise you are putting too much risk for your self and for your baby as well. In other words it’s not our choice...

I delivered my little boy through C. Section surgery. I realized that body size doesn’t matter whether you are big or small, for you to have a normal delivery, but age really matter. I am 39 years old and going 40, two months from now. My Doctor made me aware on the first stage of my pregnancy that there’s a chance for me to have a C.Section surgery because of my age. I convinced myself and tried to go against the doctor’s warning. So I did some exercises and lots of walking in the morning and late afternoon. But, unfortunately it didn’t work out. So, here I am by the grace and glory of GOD, I delivered my little boy through C.Section surgery, safe and sound on the 24^th of January 2012. I have no regrets that the Doctor performed an operation that would save me and my baby. Thank you GOD!

Being a certified spa-holic myself, I was excited to have a really long and a good massage done to me, a few days later after giving birth. With the use of essential oils that my masseur applied on my entire body, my spa experience was absolutely perfect, I couldn’t ask for more. Now, I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

I have heard of one aromatherapy oils that give a complete different relaxation that every individual will experience during massage. Next time I will ask my masseur to use that one.

-Yes. Because it would be easy for me to visit my family, relatives and old friends.

-Yes. I am a little bit impatient and hot tempered.

I know I annoy you by talking so much about pregnancy stuff but I can’t help it LOL! Don’t worry this time I will give you something more interesting and there was no other more interesting than talking about fashion and style that every single woman in the world are crazy about.

Who would not want this kind of body figure and this kind of dress that would turn a man into nuts? I know some of us could no longer wear this kind of outfit because maybe they are not into it, or they are too chubby or soooo pregnant (like me!) to wear something like that. But to some, they would call this their shapely investment. The idea really blew my mind. But, if you think about it, it is really called a shapely investment, what else could you think. There is nothing wrong to have something like this in your wardrobe. Every time you open your closet and see those outfits, you are challenged to go to the gym and make that workout you had been wanting to do in your life. And, surprise your husband by wearing that dress and prove to him that you can be as gorgeous as you want him to be LOL!

I hate to disclose this but for the sake of other pregnant women like myself, maybe I can be of big help. Yesterday I was in a very distressing situation while inside the rest room of our house trying to…how should I say this hmm…help myself when having constipated. Believe me, I cried because It was really difficult. I took my mobile phone from my purse and call my doctor for help when I realized it was getting worst. Thank GOD my OB-Gyne prescribed me a medicine that really works like magic after an hour of taking it orally. Problem solved. I have no authority to prescribe you this medicine if you are having constipation, but I just thought this is worth mentioning.

Sometimes even how careful you are about your diet and all, constipation is very common problem to pregnant women. As the baby grew inside your belly, most likely your digestive system is also very slow to process.

Corona Impeachment Trial

And so it began…another impeachment trial in the history of Philippine government.

According to the news, at exactly 1:00 o’ clock the Senate will open Corona’s impeachment trial.

Early this morning, before the impeachment trial begins, a crowd gathered at the Senate gates wearing a black color attire to show their support of the chief of Justice Renato Corona. On his speech, Corona claimed not guilty of the accusation set to him for acquiring 45 condo units. And claimed it was the property of his wife.

Who are we to judge but let’s leave it up to the proper authority who will give justice to this impeachment trial. I was not able to watch during the opening of the trial this afternoon, but I am definitely get an update this evening news what was transpire during the preceding.

I am glad my nephew finally improved his grades. Rumor has it in school that he will be an honor student this final semester. He is a book enthusiast. And has no preference what kind of book he wants to read even Political Science books . There was no doubt his reading hobbies helped him a lot he excel in school. He is no genius but a constant guidance and support from his parents made him an excellent student. I wonder what would be his parent’s gift for him this time for making them proud.
