Kevlar Session 1 The Power of Unity

One of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century was a new polymer that was light and when woven together makes an incredibly strong substance. This discovery was later made into Kevlar by Stephanie Kwolek at the Dupont laboratories in Wilmington, Delaware in the United States. Kevlar has saved thousands of lives worldwide in military and police situations.

Kevlar is a weapon that is used in battle. Like Kevlar God has given Christians spiritual weapons to wage war against the enemy. Many believers are unaware that God has given you these powerful weapons. These weapons in the hands of an informed follower of Christ will produce a mighty warrior.  Like Kevlar, if Christians will allow the Spirit of God to weave us together behind the vision to Know Christ and Make Him Known then we will be an army ready to fulfill the plans of our leader.

Power of unity

Ecclesiastes4:9-12 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. ¹⁰ For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. ¹¹Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? ¹²Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Ephesians 4:3-6 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, ² with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, ³ endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; ⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism; ⁶ one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
