Hey everyone! We’re getting ready to record another episode of CM Edge and would love for you to be a part of it!

This past week many of you have probably run into articles from USA Today or the Christian Science Monitor on an American Religion Survey that shows the steady decline of people in Evangelical churches. We’d love to hear from you on your thoughts about what is being said and about the survey.

Does CM world really need another podcast? Aren’t there enough of them out there?

Well, the short answer to those questions is no and yes. No, CM world doesn’t need just another podcast. And, yes, there are enough of them out there. So, why does this podcast exist?

CM Edge isn’t just another children’s ministry podcast. We’re not here to teach you the latest in volunteer recruitment strategies. We’re not trying sell you on a new way to better organize your time. We are a diverse group of people who love what we do and love talking about it! Some of us are children’s pastors and others of us aren’t. What we do have in common is our desire to advance God’s Kingdom.

Each month at CM Edge you’ll hear about what is going on in the world around us (culture, technology, entertainment, ministry, etc.) and how it may affect ministry to children. We want to give you what you need to stay current and relevant and on the edge of of children’s ministry.

We hope that CM Edge is a highlight of your month as well as a blessing and encouragement.

If you would like to contribute any current bits of news or information for an upcoming episode of CM Edge, send an email to cmedge at zonios dot org.
