CMS Cepcor have assisted with the urgent rebuild of a Nordberg 54x80 gyratory crusher operated by Europe's largest coastal quarry.

The re-build of the gyratory crusher was led by Gordon Anderson, Engineering Support Manager who recently joined CMS Cepcor.

Gordon has extensive experience in servicing and maintaining cone and gyratory crushers used in aggregate and mining applications having previousley being employed by Allis, Svedala and Sandvik.

CMS Cepcor have become the first choice for ciritcal inspections, service, maintenance and manganese liner changes for primary gyratory crushers.

CMS Cepcor is an authorized FLSmidth service facility covering all Fuller-Traylor TC, NT and TS primary gyratory crushers, our crusher engineers are formally trained and certified by FLSmidth Minerals to ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with factory procedures and to the highest level of workmanship.

CMS Cepcor are pleased to welcome Gordon Anderson to the business in the new role of Engineering Support Manager. Gordon has extensive experience in servicing and maintaining Hydrocone, Superior and Gyratory crushers manufactured by Allis Chalmers, Svedala and Sandvik.

The appointment will further enhance the service levels and response times offered to our mining and aggregate processing customers worldwide.

CMS Cepcor have been contracted to complete major repairs to a Pegson 900x600 Metrotrak jaw crusher operated by a UK demolition and recycling contractor.

The base Pegson jaw crusher was stripped to component for CMS Cepcor crusher engineers in our crusher workshops, cleaned and then inspected to assess each component for re-use, repair or replacement with new parts.

The crusher mainframe bearing bores will be restored to original factory tolerance in our UK machine shop.

CMS Cepcor crusher engineers will then re-build the crusher using new UK manufactured eccentric shaft and bearing spacers along with a full set of new SKF spherical roller bearings.

6100CMS Cepcor have completed major repairs to a Terex-Pegson 1100x650 Premiertrak jaw crusher operated by a Scotish hard rock quarry.

The jaw crusher and grizzly feeder was removed from the tracked chassis, stripped to component form in our crusher workshops, cleaned and then inspected to assess each component for re-use, repair or replacement with new parts.

The jawstock and mainframe bearing bores were restored to original factory tolerance in our UK machine shop.

CMS Cepcor crusher engineers re-built the crusher using new UK manufactured eccentric shaft and bearing spacers along with a full set of new SKF spherical roller bearings.

The grizzly feeder was fitted with new VGF cassette, tray liners and sideplates.

CMS Cepcor have completed breakdown repairs to a Symons Nordberg 5½' Shorthead operated by one of the largest limestone quarries in the UK.

As preferred suppliers for crusher wear parts & spare parts and ancillary goods and services, CMS Cepcor crusher engineers stripped the countershaft box assembly in our crusher workshops and inspected to manufacturing drawings.

The countershaft box was restored to original factory tolerance in our UK machine shop and CMS Cepcor crusher engineers re-assembled using new countershaft, countershaft box bushes, seals, piston rings, oil flinger and main drive pulley all taken from our vast stock inventory.

The CMS Cepcor product range includes crusher spare parts and wear parts to suit the entire range of cone crushers from 2' through to 7' in both Standard and Shorthead configurations, together with parts to suit the 36" & 48" Gyradiscs.

Pegson Autocone Rebuild

CMS Cepcor have completed urgent breakdown repairs to a Pegson 900 Series 2 Autocone operated by a leading UK supplier of cement, readymix concrete, mortars, screeds, aggregates, asphalts, concrete block paving, SUDS, roof tiles and concrete blocks.

The crusher was removed from site by CMS Cepcor crusher engineers and stripped to component form overnight to establish final scope work required.

Each component along with each bearing journal and bearing housing (bore) was inspected to manufactruing tolerance using calibrated measuring equipment.

All bearing journals and bores were found to be within acceptable tolerance and the crusher was re-built using a full set of new stock bearings, UK manufactured countershaft, seals and piston rings in our crusher workshops.

The cone crusher was loaded back onto crane lorry within two days of collection from site and subsequently re-commissioned on site within the agreed timescale.

CMS Cepcor is widely accepted as the aftermarket specialist for the support of Pegson manufactured cone crushers.

Nordberg 42X70 HD Gyratory

CMS Cepcor have supplied premium replacement liners to suit a Nordberg 42x70 HD Gyratory crusher operated by a West African gold mining operation.

The one piece standard bottom smooth mantle is cast in our M14 premium manganese steel.

The order also includes thirteen sets of CMS Cepcor replacement H6000 Hydrocone concaves and mantles manufactured in M18 and four sets manufactured in M21 premium manganese steel.

The customer is also partly serviced by our Ghanian operation who offer customer support throughout West Africa.

Kue Ken CT1300 Pinion Shaft

CMS Cepcor have manufactured and supplied a new pinion shaft housing assembly to suit a Kue Ken CT1300 cone crusher operated by Ghanian hard rock quarry.

The existing worn and damaged assembly was aifreighted back to our UK crusher workshops for inspection and report. The assembly was stripped to component form by our crusher engineers and inspected to manufacturing drawings.

The supply consisted of new UK cast and machined pinion shaft housing, pinion shaft, safety arm assembly, gaskets, covers and seals along with the supply of new gear and pinion.

The crusher drive pulley was refurbished in our UK machine shop.

CMS Cepcor crusher engineers will then re-fit and assembly and commission the crusher on site.

CMS Cepcor is now the primary aftermarket supplier of crusher spare parts and crusher wear parts to suit Kue-Ken CT cone range.

Pegson Automax repair

CMS Cepcor have completed urgent repairs to a Pegson 900 Automax cone crusher operated by the UK’s largest supplier of aggregates to the construction industry.

The repairs formed part of scheduled inspection and maintenance by the quarry. CMS Cepcor crusher engineers removed the conehead and countershaft assembly from the crusher and returned to our Coalville crusher workshops.

The countershaft housing that had been reported damaged underwent non destructive crack testing and was found to be beyond economical repair.

A CMS Cepcor fully refurbished countershaft housing was supplied from stock to minimise downtime and repair cost. A new UK manufactured assembly was also held in stock.

The worn conehead deflector skirt was machined away in our UK machine shop and a new serrated ring welded and machined accordingly.

The repair were completed with the scheduled downtime and the crusher re-commissioned by CMS Cepcor engineers on site.

Superior Mainshaft Assembly

CMS Cepcor have completed urgent breakdown repairs to a Svedala H2000 Hydrocone topshell for the UK’s largest supplier of aggregates to the construction industry.

The topshell was safely removed from site by CMS Cepcor crusher engineers and transported to our crusher workshops for dimensional inspection and non-destructive crack testing.

The topshell was then restored to factory dimensional tolerance in our UK machine shop including re-qualifying the concave seat, remedial repairs to worn spider and machining mating face.

CMS Cepcor crusher engineers returned to site to install the topshell and re-commission the crusher within 48 hours of removal.

CMS Cepcor have supplied a new UK manufactured Goodwin Barsby 36"x6" (915x150mm) Mk5 Granulator Jaw Crusher to a Malaysian Acid Works.

The mark 5 series heavy duty thermally stress relieved mainframe, cast steel jawstock, forged eccentric shaft and oversize SKF spherical roller bearings are designed to withstand the most demanding applications.

The Goodwin Barsby Mk5 Series Granulator is capable of upto 45 tonnes per hour and has a minimum closed side setting of 13mm.

CMS Cepcor have completed urgent breakdown repairs to a Pegson 900 Automax cone crusher operated by the leading supplier of heavy building materials to the UK construction industry.

Following major component failure, CMS Cepcor crusher engineers inspected the crusher on site and returned the eccentric assembly to our crusher workshops to be inspected to manufacturing drawings to assess for re-use or replacement with new parts.

Subsequently new UK manufactured rotary seal ring, piston rings and seals were fitted by our crusher engineers.

The pinion shaft housing was restored to original tolerance in our UK machine shop and then re-built using new pinion shaft, bearings, seals, gaskets and o-rings.
