New Smyrna Beach, Florida is a beautiful place to have a wedding. Brittany and Chad were happily wed barefoot on the beach with a backdrop of blue skies and ocean water. From the minute we arrived until the sparkler send away in the boat at the end of the evening, we had nothing but fun! We want to wish Brittany & Chad a lifetime of happiness and love as these two compliment each other so well. A special thank you to celebrate! Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ Jay & Angela Trash the Dress

So after photographing Jay and Angela’s wedding in Key West, Florida, we were fortunate enough to get them behind the lens once again for a saucy trash the dress session at Sunset Beach in St. Petersburg. As you can see from the images, these two have no problem spicing things up and having a great time together. Something you can not see though, were all of the people watching, as well as another couple’s wedding going on during sunset, as these two did their thing. Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ Nicole & Joe….simply elegant

Although it rained, well actually poured, Nicole and Joe’s wedding was a grand success. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony at the ever beautiful Knowles Memorial Chapel at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and the reception followed at the exquisite Interlachen Country Club. Throughout the day, gorgeous floral arrangements by Czes Heard surrounded us, and late into the evening The Maxx kept the party going with their energy packed live performance. Once again we had the privilege of working with Susie Weiss of Wonderful Weddings and Schuyler Osborne of Perfect Sky Productions who always make the day go a little bit easier. An unbelievably elegant cake was provided by Bake Me A Cake although I think most of the guests filled up on sweets from the huge chocolate fountain! Ever been at one of those weddings where everything just fits? Everything just flows smoothly? Well Katie and David’s wedding at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and reception at The Country Club of Orlando made for a perfect day for all. Unbelievable floral arrangements by Lee James Floral Designs, rocking live music by the Birchmore Group, an exquisite and custom martini bar designed and provided by the bride herself, a delicious wedding cake by Bella Donna Cakes and Confections, video of the day’s events by Schuyler Osborne of Perfect Sky Productions, and coordinated by the amazing Susie Weiss of Wonderful Weddings. Orlando Photography Studio ~ The “Official” Open House

Open House at the new studio……Carnival Style!!!! We have been working hard on renovating two historic train cars in our hometown of Oviedo, Florida, into a beautiful gallery and office as well as a full functioning studio space. So what better way to show it off than have a big old party to “officially” open the doors to our new train car studio. We were happy to see over 100 clients, other wedding vendors, business partners, friends and neighbors show up to help celebrate our new digs. The mayor of Oviedo, and several city council members, even stopped by to check it out and help with the ribbon cutting ceremony. We are so thankful to everybody that helped make the event the talk of the town. This studio is truly a work of art in itself and Cristy and I are excited to share it with the world. Nicole and David tied the knot at Knowles Memorial Chapel on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. What a beautiful place to have a wedding. The chapel was filled with the soothing sounds of harpist Christine MacPhail and you could not have asked for a more perfect day. Their reception followed at the historic University Club of Orlando where DJ Kristen of OurDJRocks kept the party hopping all night long. Destination Wedding Photographer ~ Angela & Jay’s Key West Wedding

We were excited to photograph Angela & Jay’s Key West Wedding at the beautiful Westin Resort in Key West, Florida. The day was enjoyed by all who attended, and although Hurricane Jangela blew through on their special day (not really a hurricane, but boy was it windy), the party didn’t stop when the wedding ended. The ceremony was set on the pier right behind the resort and the Key West Museum of Art & History in the Custom House and the reception ended up in a ballroom at the resort due to the weather. We did however get some beautiful shots of the stunning bride and the dapper groom. After the reception the party continued late into the night at several of the bars and nightclubs downtown on Duval Street. Thank you Angela and Jay for including us in your special day. Michael and Jessica were married at Bella Collina Country Club in beautiful MonteVerde, Florida, and WOW is all I can say! Nothing like bringing at taste of Italy right here to Central Florida. This wedding was one of the most emotional weddings Cristy and I have shot in a while as there were several moments we both had to step back from the camera and wipe the tears away. We were fortunate to work with Cinematique Films who filmed the entire event and Frank from White Rose Entertainment who rocked the party. The long overdue post…….

Sorry for being so absent on the blog lately. Between everything going on with the new studio, shooting events including weddings, births, babies, mamas to be, families, etc., everyone’s favorite day, tax day, my transition to full time with the Nielsens Photography & Design, and so on and so on, we have seriously neglected our blogging…….

So, with that being said……..I bring you our families little journey out to Cape Canaveral for the April 5th, 2010 morning sunrise launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery. Carl Franzen of AOL online penned it best in his article, “NASA called the predawn launch “spectacular,” “picture-perfect” and its “most visually beautiful launch ever,” which accurately summed up the reaction of many observers.” We would have to agree!!!
