Everyone loves a good baby shower. There’s always so much excitement and love for the new mom, but let’s face it… baby showers can also be hard work. There’s a mix of friends, family, age groups. The last thing you want is for the mom to be to be worried about her guests having a good time. Here are some simple ideas to help you get everyone involved and having fun at any baby shower!

1. Don’t Say Baby Game – Hand each guest a diaper pin when they arrive and have them pin it to themselves. The rules are that no one is allowed to say the word “baby.” If a guest catches another guest saying “baby”, they get to take their diaper pin. The person with the most pins at the end is the winner. 2. Sign the guestbook!

3. Guess The Baby Shower Guest Game

Ask your guests to send over their own baby pictures ahead of time, and then have a game of guessing who is who! The cuteness.

4. Late night nappies

Have a box of nappies out where guests can write messages on the nappy for mom to read while during those 2pm nappy changes and where she might need a little more motivation / cheerleading than normal.

No doubt that there will be many that will give the new mom some much needed laughs at that time of the night, as well as some encouraging messages that she’ll appreciate. Messages like “Enjoy me, I grow up quick!”, or “You’re a great mom, don’t forget it”, or “This too will pass and you will sleep through again!”
