London Engagement Shoot – Kimberly + Ifeanyi

We met up for the shoot at a golf course in North London, however shortly after meeting up, the rains stepped in to ruin the day, and this we were totally unprepared for. It turned out to be one of the longest engagement shoots I’ve ever done, but then it was totally worth it. Sometime about 7 that evening, and getting a bit tired waiting for the rain, we thought, since we were in the car, we may as well drive. So we headed into Central London, got there about 8 pm and then shot till about 11pm. Below are a couple of images from the shoot.

Traditional Nigerian Wedding at the Oriental Hotel Lagos | Kemi + Isidore

Early this year, I popped down to Nigeria to document Kemi and Isidore’s traditional wedding at the beautiful Oriental Hotel Lagos. The wedding took place just before the fuel subsidy strikes, and I managed to fly back to London with the first flight on the morning the strikes were due to start. Thinking about it later, I would have really loved to stay back a bit and document some of the demonstrations, but then …

Anyway my photographer friend, Babz Bamiro, assisted me on this. It was one of those Ishan weddings (the groom, that is), with plenty of colour, music and dancing. Do hope you love them …

Hilton London, Canary Wharf Wedding | Christina + Charles

Christina and Charles wedding started pretty early on the day with the bridal prep at the beautiful Orsett Hall Hotel in Essex, and continued late into the night with the reception and party at the Hilton London, Canary Wharf Hotel. If you remember, I shot and blogged a bit from their traditional wedding late last year here in London. I had known Charles for over 15 years and Christina for about 10, so it was a real pleasure they gave me the privilage of photographing their special day.

Nosipho + Ralph – Engagement Session at Hyde Park

South African born Nosi and Nigerian entrepreneur, Ralph who are getting married later this year in South Africa, popped into London for their fitting sometime back in August. We were able to arrange a quick pre wedding shoot behind their Hotel in Central London. Due to Ralph’s busy schedule, we had just about an hour for the shoot, and as such I don’t quite have a lot of images.

Nigerian Wedding at the Walthamstow Assembly Hall | Maria + Jibola

Okay, so the blog has been quiet for a while … doesn’t quite mean I’ve been lazy, but rather have been swamped with work. I thought I’d post up a few images from Maria and Jibola’s wonderful wedding which took place sometime last month or so, and which I photographed with fellow photographer, Osita.

The ceremony was held at St Johns Church, while the reception was at the Walthamstow Assembly Hall, both here in North London. Hope you like the images …

Nigerian Wedding – Opeyemi & Ade
