இனி ராணாவை ராணா என்று எழுதினால் கோபித்துக் கொள்வார் கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமார். அதில் வரும் ண வில் ஒரு சுழியை குறைத்து விட்டார் அவர். இனிமேல் அது ரானா! தலைப்பு எப்படி எழுதணும் என்பதை நான்தான் முடிவு பண்ணனும். அதை நீங்க முடிவு பண்ணக் கூடாது என்று அவர் சொல்ல, ராணாவை இப்படிதானே எழுதணும் என்று குழம்பி போனார்கள் ஓரளவு தமிழில் எழுத தெரிந்த நிருபர்கள்.

தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் வெளிவரும் முன்னணி நாளிதழ் நிருபர்களை நேற்று அழைத்திருந்தார் டைரக்டர் கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமார். நீ... வா... போ... என்று நிருபர்களை ஒருமையில் அழைத்தவர், ராணா பற்றி வருகிற செய்திகள் எதுவும் உண்மையில்லை. இனிமேல் என்னை கேட்காமல் ஒரு வரிகூட இந்த படத்தை பற்றி எழுதக் கூடாது 'அன்பாக' கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். ஒருவேளை என் போன் சுவிட்ச் ஆஃப் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தால், எஸ்எம்எஸ் கொடுங்க. கேட்டுட்டு எழுதுங்க என்றார்.

ஒரு முக்கியமான நாளிதழின் நிருபரிடம், நீ எழுதறது பத்திரிகை தர்மமே இல்லை தெரியுமா என்று சாடியவர், இந்த கதையை ரஜினி சார்தான் எழுதியிருக்கார். அவரை தவிர யாருக்குமே கதை தெரியாது. 17 ம் நு£ற்றாண்டில் நடக்கிற கதை இது. ஏப்ரல் அல்லது மே மாதத்தில் லண்டனில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற இருக்கிறது. ஒரு வருஷம் அங்கு ஷ§ட்டிங் நடக்கும். ஆனால் அங்கிருந்து ஒரு தகவல் கூட வெளியில் கசியாது. வேடிக்கை பார்க்க வருகிறவர்களின் செல்போன்களை கூட ஆஃப் பண்ணி வைக்கும்படி எல்லா முன்னேற்பாடுகளும் செய்துவிட்டோம் என்றார்.

கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமாரின் இந்த 'வா போ' பேச்சு பல நிருபர்களை வருத்தமடைய வைத்தது. பாதியிலேயே எழுந்துவிடலாம் என்று யோசித்த சில நிருபர்கள் கூட சம்பந்தப்பட்ட நிர்வாகத்திடம் பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டுமே என்று அஞ்சி வாயை பொத்திக் கொண்டு அமர்ந்திருந்தார்கள்.

ரவிகுமாரின் இவ்வளவு மொத்துகளையும் பொறுத்துக் கொண்டு இன்றைய முன்னணி நாளிதழ்களில் இந்த செய்தி கால் பக்கத்திற்கு கலரில் வெளியானதுதான் ஆச்சர்யம்.

ஏனென்றால் இது ரஜினி படமாச்சே!

அதுபோகட்டும்... படத்தை பற்றி கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமார் சொன்ன முக்கியமான விஷயங்களில் சில-

'ராணா' படத்தில் ரஜினிகாந்த் ஜோடியாக நடிக்க இந்தி நடிகை ரேகா ரூ.4 கோடி சம்பளம் கேட்டதாகவும், அந்த தொகையை கொடுக்க மறுத்ததால் அவர் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்க மறுத்துவிட்டதாகவும் வெளியான தகவல், முற்றிலும் தவறானது.

இப்படத்திற்காக அசினிடமும் கால்ஷீட் கேட்கப்படவில்லை.

'ராணா,' ஒரு சரித்திர படம். வேறு எந்த படத்துடனும் இந்த படத்தை ஒப்பிட விரும்பவில்லை.

'ராணா,' 17-ம் நூற்றாண்டில் நடக்கிற கதை. இந்த படத்தில், ரஜினியுடன் ஆறு அல்லது ஏழு கதாநாயகிகள் இணைந்து நடிப்பார்கள். அத்தனை பேரும் அவருக்கு ஜோடி அல்ல. மூன்று கதாநாயகிகள்தான் அவருக்கு ஜோடி. தீபிகா படுகோனே மட்டும் 'மெயின்' கதாநாயகியாக உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டு இருக்கிறார்.

கமல்ஹாசன் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்கவில்லை. அதுபோல் அமிதாப்பச்சனும் இந்த படத்தில் இல்லை

ஒரு கதாநாயகி என்றால் கண்டிப்பாக ஒரு குத்துப்பாட்டுக்கு ஆட வேண்டும். ஜிகினா டிரஸ்சில் ஹீரோவின் கனவில் நுழைந்து ஐஸ்லாந்தில் ஆட்டம் போட வேண்டும். ஈவ் டீசிங் பாடல் ஒன்றுக்கு முகம் கடுக்க மூவ்மென்ட் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். இப்படியெல்லாம் தொடர்கிற இலக்கணத்தை மீறி வருகிற ஒரே நாயகி அஞ்சலி மட்டும்தான்!

முந்தைய தலைமுறைக்கும், இளைய தலைமுறைக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கிற இடைவெளி பற்றி பேசுகிற படம் இது. என்னுடைய இருபத்தைந்து வருட சினிமா வாழ்க்கையில் நான் ரசித்து நடித்த படம் இது என்றார் நாசர். இப்படத்தின் நாயகனான சத்யா இதற்கு முன்பு சில படங்களில் நடித்திருந்தாலும், முதன் முறையாக ஒரு ஹீரோவாக முழுமையடைந்திருக்கிறார் என்று நம்ப வைத்தது அந்த பாடல் காட்சிகள். ட்யூன்களில் சதிராட்டம் போட்ட டி.இமானுக்கும் கூடை நிறைய பாராட்டுகள்!

No other actors other than Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone have been confirmed for Ranaa, says KS Ravi Kumar. The media has been reporting frantically that Asin, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan etc., are playing important roles in the film and later that these actresses have pulled out of the film for various reasons. Declining all this as mere rumors, KS Ravi Kumar has said that the media should only rely on official confirmation and not write news based on their own assumptions.
He added that he has not discussed the script with anyone till now and the star cast will be finalized very soon.

Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal’s director Ganesh is in deep trouble following reports that the producer of this flick is considering to replace him. As per sources, the entire unit of MUK is unhappy over the way Ganesh is handling the film. To add to their woes is the director’s attitude problem. Incidentally, Ganesh happens to be a close associate of Silambarasan and bagged the offer to direct MUK when he happened to meet its producer during the making of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
MUK stars Atharva and Amala Paul as the lead pair and Vivek plays the comedian. The music for this film has been scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
