NightFire takes inspiration from several of the best 007 moments across the years. In the completely original storyline, the super-spy finds himself on the trail of a corrupt businessman who's hatched a plan to use a secret weapon to destroy the world. Bond's quest to stop the terrorist before he can do any harm takes him across the world through a variety of first-person shooter and driving levels, deep into the ocean, and soaring into space. Much of the game (including the four-player multiplayer mode) is played in the first-person perspective, but there are also racing action stages that utilize the Need for Speed game engine.

Serious Sam : Before First Encounter is an upcoming first-person shooter video game in development by Croteam. It will be the latest game in the Serious Sam series and a prequel to the original game, Serious Sam: The First Encounter. Serious Sam 3: BFE will be set in Egypt and feature a 16-player co-operative campaign mode. The game is set for release in Q3 2011 on PC and unspecified consoles.Thus far, the only logical interpretation of "BFE" has been "Before First Encounter"; given the fact "Serious Sam Stone" was sent back in time through the Time Lock to destroy the evil sent by Mental. Considering the setting is based on Earth, it would only make sense that the events unraveling in Serious Sam , are those that brought Serious Sam to the "First Encounter" in the first place.
