This is my very first pregagncy photoshoot, and I must say that I’ve never expected that photographing bumps can be so much fun! Ingrids idea was to capture her posing  in a very natural and neutral manner and depsite  limited space to use (I photographed her and her husband Peter in their lovely house in Edinburgh) we managed to create some studio quality portraits. What made my work easier was the fact that Ingrid knew precisely what sort of posing routine she wanted me to portrait. Having said that, I had to ask  for a big glass of white before shooting some more intimate pictures (…and you won’t find those on the blog)…Anyway, it was an amazing and enjoyable experience for all of us, and I hope to take some family portraits when a little one arrive!

This is a second time when I have a pleasure to travel up north to Dunndee ( Scotland) to photograph a wedding, and I’m always amazed by the spectacular views along the way. It’s one of the most beautiful train journeys in the UK, and the cherry on the cake is the actual entrance to the city, via a fantastic rail bridge.  Priceless.  Carly and Andy looked amazing and we were looked after by everyone- there was not a moment we were thirsty or hungry during the  photoshoot!  Now, we can’t wait to be back for another wedding in Dundee.

Susan, Daniel, Patrick and Jessica travelled all the way from the USA in order to get married in Scotland.  Susan and Daniel’s ceremony was held in Dalhousie Castle, Bonnyrig. Special thanks to Amber from Purple Penguin Weddings- it was a pleasure working with you!  Patrick and Jessica’s ceremony took place at the top of Edinburgh’s windy Calton Hill (Observatory Garden).  It was my very first pagan ceremony to photograph, and I must say it was a great, new experience.  Thanks to Kara&Paul from Legal Pagan Weddings – I look forward to working with you again!

Ceremony took place at St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh, romantic photo-shoot was at the bottom of Arthur’s Seat and rest of the pictures were taken in the Royal Terrace Hotel.

Once again I came back home thinking about how much I love this job! Thanks to Adriana and Miro for agreeing to our posing ideas! All the best guys.
