So, I have to admit my poor hair has been neglected over the past year or so. It went through the wars of dying/stripping/more dying, so I just left it and grew out all of the (red at the time) dye.

It was all well and good growing out the colour, but the quality, softness and shine had just disappeared, my hair was completely ruined.

The ends of my hair had gotten so bad they literally looked like they had been singed in a fire, so i thought enough was enough, the neglect couldn't go on much longer. I booked a wash, cut, blow-dry and deep treatment at Toni & Guy (it was amazing).

I never usually go for the 'recommendations' they try to sell me at the salon, but I knew I had to keep my hair in good condition and look after it. The stylist recommended the label.m Protein Spray for shine, heat protection and to even out porosity.

I have to say the thought of using 'protein' in my hair did make me laugh, but I thought I had to give it a go! The price is not too bad at £13.75 (I went straight home to compare online, and I had surprisingly got the cheapest deal!).

After showering I applied the product to damp hair, the smell was absolutely delicious.

This stuff is amazing and I can recommend it to anyone with any hair type who wants soft, shiny, healthy hair. I do not tend to blow dry my hair any more and leave it to dry naturally, but either way my hair is left feeling amazing and manageable.

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hi everyone! So as you all know, I have been pretty useless when it's come to blogging recently! So thought why not start them off again with a good ol' tag!

Anyway, lets get back to business! Thank you Kate from beautiboe for the tag on this!

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
I moisturise my face every day without a fail, but I have to say the rest of my body is very neglected when it comes to moisturising. I have very dry legs and arms, but I just never remember to moisturise them, it is pretty bad :(

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?
I wash my make-up brushes, but probably not as often as I should! I would say I do them once a month, but for me it is just finding the time to wash them and to give them enough time to dry before I need to use them again.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
I absolutely hate chipped nail polish! I think I may have OCD when it comes to my nails. If my nail polish chips I have to take it all off and re-apply it as soon as I possibly can! I carry around a Nails Inc Express Nail Polish Remover Pot in my handbag so if my nails chip too bad I can take the whole lot off!

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
It depends on what it is! The main thing I leave until the very last minute to replace is my eyebrow pencil! I will literally use it until I cannot sharpen it anymore (which is about 3 weeks worth!).

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I have a very bad habit of picking my split ends! I can sit there for hours picking them without even knowing I am doing it!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Polishing, I am a clean freak (most of the time), but I find it literally impossible to get the polish and a duster out. I have so many little bits and pieces all over my shelves/sides it takes me forever to move them all!

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
No, definitely not! I spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours getting ready if I am going out somewhere nice, if it is just for work or to the shops I spend about 30-40mins :-p

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
I really wish I could, each pay day I say exactly the same thing... "No spending this month Laura, save some money and next month you will not regret it"... this never happens!

9. How organized is your make-up and nail polish collections?
My nail polish collection is probably the most organized collection I have! I simply cannot stand my nail polishes lying around and messy.. My make up on the other hand is another story, I have it all scattered in numerous make up bags all over the place and can never find anything when I need it! (except my main make up which is kept in my main make up bag!)

I'm Sorry!! :(

Hi all, I can only apologize that it has been far too long since I last posted a blog. There are no excuses but I thought I should at least try ;-)...

Firstly, I have recently moved into my new home with my boyfriend (a few months ago) and in the same week started a new job! So as you can imagine this has been extremely stressful and I have not really had much time to sit back and relax!

I started a new job in Milton Keynes in June, however I was really not enjoying it very much, so this was getting me down slightly (which is very, very unlike me), but I have recently (today) started a new job, which *touchwood* at the moment already seems a lot better!

I really hope I have not lost all of my followers and fellow bloggers and I do hope you will be back to see my future posts!

Would you rather?

Hi everyone, so today's blog is going to be slightly different to usual! Thank you to Kate @ beautiboe for the tag on this! Please click here to view hers, it is very interesting ;).

Lets go!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Lose all my palettes and eyeshadows, the others are my daily essentials!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Aahhhh thats a tough one! Probably never be able to cut my hair again? I just would never straighten/curl it again and try and keep it as healthy as possible!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink cheek, I can't quite pull off the coral cheek look :(

4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Clothes! If I bought £1000 worth of make up I would never use it all so it would seem like a waste!

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Hhhmmm.. lipstick as eyeliner!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We do not have Sephora here in the UK so it would have to be MAC, you can't beat it ;)

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One eye shadow colour definitely! I love changing my lip colour based on my mood, it completes a look!

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in the winter, I would cheat and just wear lots to make sure I was warm!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails, they're my favourite whatever the weather!

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Favourite lip product, I look so tired when I do not have eye mascara on!

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Pony tail!

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never wear lipgloss! I absolutely love nail polish so it would take a lot to give it up.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie them on! Oh my goodness I would look terrible without eyebrows!

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
VERY tough one! But it would have to be live without nail polish, I could hide my hands in my pockets so no one would have to see my finger nails! Every one has to see my face!

Ralph Lauren Big Pony Woman's Collection - Pink Eau de Toilette

Good Morning everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

As you may or may not know I have just got myself a new job in the lovely Milton Keynes, England, which is amazing because it is very close to where my new home is going to be in Bedford, England.

Yesterday, to my surprise my boyfriend Tim gave me this lovely gift to congratulate me on my new job, it was the Ralph Lauren Big Pony Woman's Collection - Pink perfume. I was so surprised and pleased, what a lovely thing for him to do ♥

I was far too excited to wait to try it, so put it on straight away.

I am wearing it right now and I absolutely love it and it smells amazing. It is great for any sort of weather but I have to say it is perfect for our current spring/summer.

This fragrance has a lovely, sweet scent and is very refreshing. You can certainly get the warmth of the Tonka bean and the sweet scent of the cranberry - which comes through as sweet and fruity.

I put this on yesterday morning and could smell it when I was going to bed in the evening. I absolute love this fragrance and it is now going to be my new every day fragrance! I definitely recommend you try this, you will love it :).

Mocha Coconut Frappuccino

Hi all, I can only apologize that it has been so long since I last made a post! I am in the middle of going through a house move and got a new job (eeeee so exciting, but also extremely stressful!).

Today's post is going to be on a drink that is back-by-popular-demand - the Mocha Coconut Frappuccino. All I can say about this is WOW!, it was absolutely lovely and is definitely my new favourite from Starbucks.

This frappuccino is very hard to describe. It is extremely refreshing without being too sweet, yet it is very smooth and creamy. The best way to describe it is like a mocha combined with a coconut ice cream!

It comes with a crown of whipped cream, chocolate fudge sauce and some toasted coconut flakes. You are able to have it with whichever milk you prefer, I went for whole milk as it makes it taste more like ice cream! ;)(why not? it was my Friday treat!).
The frappuccino itself is pretty standard with a mocha sauce and coconut syrup added to add sweetness.

I would definitely recommend this, wether or not you have a sweet tooth! It not too sweet with a slight bit of bitterness.

Wheyhey Protein Ice Cream

Happy Saturday every body! I hope you all have lovely plans for the weekend and this bank holiday Monday.

So today I thought I would blog about something slightly different to usual. As you may or may not know I am extremely into health and fitness, and love to eat healthy 99.9% of the time ;-) Not too long ago I came across this Wheyhey protein ice cream, I couldn't wait to try this as I find it very difficult to find desserts that actually taste nice that fit my daily calorie intake.

Wheyhey is an all natural, no sugar, high protein ice cream that only contains natural ingredients, for this reason I was very intrigued to try it, so purchased the Strawberry and Chocolate flavour.

I have to say this is the best healthy dessert I have ever had. Both tasted just like normal ice cream and it definitely felt as though I had just eaten something very bad for me & full of sugar (which is always good ;))

This stuff definitely seems far too good to be true! It is absolutely delicious and has zero sugar and contains a great amount of protein! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is currently dieting or eats healthy but also has a bit of a sweet tooth like me!

Unlike a normal tub of ice cream I can happily sit there and eat a whole tub of this and not feel bad after! :D

Good evening everyone! Today's post is going to be on another MUA product, as you can probably tell I am falling more and more in love with this brand as time goes on.

This post is going to be on the MUA Matte Lipstick in Lilac Belle (as worn in the photo above). I have seen this shade a lot on other blogs and online and thought it looked stunning. I have to admit I looked high and low for this and eventually found it (the last one!) in Milton Keynes after a couple of weeks of darting into every Superdrug store I passed.

I never really thought a lilac shade lipstick would look right on me, but I have seen many good things about this shade in particular and for £1 I had to get it just so I could test it out for myself.

Yet again, MUA you have not failed to impress, this lipstick is amazing, especially seeing as it is so affordable! It is easy to apply and is extremely pigmented. I find it very hard to wear matte lipsticks as my lips are quite dry, but this one lasted just over an hour before I took it off and reapplied it.

The colour is a gorgeous lilac shade with a hint of light pink. When applied, it has a subtle lilac shade mixed with a very light pink. I am going to be buying this lipstick in a lot more shades and I would definitely recommend this to you all!

Lovely little gift! Poised In Turquoise (Nicole by OPI)

Good evening everyone! I can only apologise that I have not done a new post in a few days, I have been extremely busy and not had much time to myself, but I promise I will not leave it this long again!

I went shopping with my boyfriend Tim and his mum and dad at the weekend in the lovely town of Milton Keynes. To my surprise, Tim's mum had bought me a present from Superdrug, this being the Nicole by OPI - Poised In Turquoise.

I can't believe that Superdrug sell Nicole by OPI and I didn't even know, I would have definitely been making some purchases earlier if I had known!

Whilst in the bottle it is a beautiful Turquoise metallic colour with waves of a blue-green shimmer. I have never used Nicole by OPI before, so I was very intrigued and excited to use this.

As soon as I got home I had to try it. The application was great and reminded me of the normal OPI Nail Lacquer's. The colour is exactly as it looks in the bottle and comes out a gorgeous, shimmery turquoise colour - it reminds me of the ocean! It dries super quickly and I was able to apply another coat after 10 minutes (just to be safe! 5 would have been fine). After applying the second coat there were no visible brush streaks and the colour was absolutely stunning. After 15 minutes had past, I was doing things as usual and it did not smudge at all!

I absolutely love this product and I can definitely recommend it. It is extremely hard wearing and the application is super easy, I will definitely be purchasing some more of these!

OPI If You Moust You Moust

Good evening everyone! It has been a while since I have done a nail post, so I thought it was about time I did another. Today's post is going to be on one of my favourite OPI colours ever - If You Moust You Moust. I absolutely love everything about this nail lacquer.

I got this shade a while ago in the Vintage Minnie Mouse collection (one of the best OPI collections to date!).

The shade of this polish is a bright, gorgeous, bubblegum pink. I would say it is in between a baby pink and hot pink. The application of this polish is super easy and does not need too much product. I find a lot of the lighter pink colours I have had in the past go extremely streaky even after 2 or 3 coats, I found this one did with one coat, however with the usual two coats this was completely streak free and extremely opaque.

This colour is long lasting and extremely hard wearing. I usually find it does not chip or go bad(even when doing daily house chores and being in the office) until 3 days after application.

I love OPI and would definitely recommend this brand to anyone who wants a long lasting, good quality nail polish!

MUA Shopping Spree

Good evening everyone! Following on from my previous post about my little shopping spree on the MUA website where I purchased all of the below for an amazing £18.95 (including delivery), here is my second post reviewing two more of the items!

For my second post I am going to review the MUA Mosaic Blusher (English Rose) and MUA Power Pout (Irreplaceable). I am wearing both of these products in the photo below.

MUA Mosaic Blusher (English Rose)
After trying the MUA Mosaic Blusher yesterday I was super excited to try this product today. The price is the same as the bronzer at £2.50 and the packaging is exactly the same, it looks lovely and the lid is very tight which means there is very little chance of it opening and getting ruined/ruining my handbag!

This blusher looks so pretty with all the different colours. I do not like blushers that look too heavy and artificial (which happens quite a lot on my skin) but this is fantastic, it gave me pretty and soft rose coloured cheeks with a slight glow. I have fair skin and this blended in perfectly and lasted for ages! I am not too sure if this would be good on more tanned skin as a blusher, maybe more of a highlighter.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a natural, rosy glow at a fantastic price.

This is definitely a new make up bag essential for me!

MUA Power Pouts Lipstick (Shade Irreplaceable)
I have recently reviewed this lip tint & balm in 'crazy in love' and 'broken hearted' and loved both and I can safely say I love this one just as much!

The packaging is a light pink colour and once applied it is a beautiful, light, well pigmented shade of pink. I think this may be my favourite shade yet! I find it very difficult to wear light pink lipsticks, as I find they do not give proper coverage and is not very pigmented, however this is definitely the opposite.

As it is with the others this is very easy to apply and does not require a lot of product. It lasts for a good few hours before it needs to be reapplied. This product leaves my lips feeling extremely soft and moisturised when wearing and after wearing this product. I would definitely recommend this product and I will definitely be purchasing it in more colours!

I love the MUA brand so far and I am really looking forward to trying more of their products, I can feel myself falling more and more in love with them ♥

MUA Love Part 1

MUA Shopping Spree

Good evening everyone! It is finally Friday & time for the weekend! I recently went on a little shopping spree on the MUA website and got all of the below for an amazing £18.95 (including delivery)! I figured it would be too much to do one blog for all 8 products, so thought it would be a good idea to do make up styles with two or three of the items and then review them!

For my first post I am going to review the MUA Mosaic Bronzer (Sunkissed Glow) and MUA Power Pout (Crazy in Love). I am wearing both of these products in the photo below.

MUA Mosaic Bronzer (Sunkissed Glow)

I am usually very skeptical when it comes to buying low price bronzers, however for £2.50 I did not really have much to lose! The packaging looks lovely and the lid is very tight which I love, as it means there is a very little chance of it accidentally opening in my handbag and getting ruined/ruining my handbag!

I really like the interesting look of this bronzer and that you can see all of the different colours that go into the overall look. I love this item and would definitely recommend purchasing it. The colour is very natural looking and blends into the skin perfectly. I did the classic 'wear to work' test to see how this product would hold out, by the time I got home it still looked the same as when I left. Even better I got lots of comments on how 'sunkissed' my skin looked and wanted to know what product I had been using (I can safely say MUA have inherited some new customers today).

I think I have now found my new favourite bronzer!

MUA Power Pouts Lipstick (Shade Crazy in Love)
I originally purchased this lip tint & balm in the shade 'broken hearted' and instantly fell in love with it, so I had to buy more.

The packaging is a dark pink colour with a brown tint to it, however once applied it is a beautiful bright pink that is very pigmented. One thing I absolutely love about this product is that the application is so easy because of the texture and shape of the stick itself.

This does not require a lot of product for a great colour and lasts for a good few hours before it needs to be reapplied, which is perfect for me as I cannot stand having to constantly reapply lipstick in the middle of a shopping centre or in the office! My lips feel completely nourished and moisturised after wearing this product.

I currently have this product in three different shades and will definitely be purchasing more of them and would recommend this a cheaper alternative to the Clinique Chubby Stick!

I am extremely pleased with my MUA purchases so far and can definitely recommend the brand to you all.

Good morning everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday weekend!
I am sorry it has been a few days since my last post, but I have had a very busy weekend and have not had a chance to do my April Favourites yet!

I have had a lot of products I have loved throughout April but the list could go on forever, so I have managed to narrow them down to my top 5 (in no particular order).

1. Naked Urban Decay Flushed
This great little compact contains my three essentials, bronzer, highlighter and blush. I either use the powders separately or blend them together for contouring! The great thing about this product is that you do not need to use too much product to get a great shade.

2. Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator
This stuff is a godsend, I absolutely love it. I have tried a lot of exfoliators and this is the best one I have found. It exfoliates my skin properly and best of all it is not too harsh on my skin. It lasts quite long as you do not need to use much for full facial coverage.
After using this for a few weeks my skin is looking brighter and feeling much softer than usual.

3. Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer
I got this as part of a TSV on QVC and was not too sure what to expect from it. This is now part of my daily facial routine, I apply of generous layer of this to my face each morning before applying my makeup. This product applies to the skin very nicely and does not take too long to sink in. It leaves a beautiful glow on my skin and helps keep my makeup in place all day!

4. Laura Geller Balance n Brighten Face Powder (Fair)
I absolutely love this product, I have been using it for around 2 years now and I cannot leave the house without wearing it. I apply this on top of my liquid foundation (or on its own on days where I do not want to wear much make up) with the Laura Gellar brush, it gives fantastic coverage and covers all my blemishes well. I do not have to keep reapplying this and it keeps a good coverage throughout the day.

5. MUA Power Pouts Lipstick (Broken Hearted)
I absolutely love this product!

Mini MUA Lunchtime Shopping Trip!

Morning all, I hope you are all having a great Friday and looking forward to the weekend!
Todays post is going to be about a mini lunchtime shopping trip I went on yesterday!

Firstly, I would like to thank Kate from beautiboe.blogspot.co.uk(please check her blog out) for her recommendation of MUA products! I started off buying a little to see how I got on with the brand.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer (Shade Criminal)
When I saw this I had to buy it, the packaging was very posh looking and the colour was so enticing, for a whopping £3 what could I lose?!
I am in two minds about the product. The colour is absolutely fantastic and is exactly the same as it is in the bottle. It is very easy to apply with a very matte like texture.
I would recommend this product for anyone who does not suffer with dry lips and is looking for a beautiful, bright, pigmented finish.
This product is great and I will definitely be purchasing it in more colours. However, I would not necessarily recommend this if you are looking for a lip colour you can wear all day and reapply easily (like I need to do quickly at my desk in the office!).

MUA Power Pouts Lipstick (Shade Broken Hearted)
I was instantly drawn to this because of the similarities it has with the Clinique Chubby stick. Like the chubby stick this is a lip colour and balm.
I did not expect too much from this being only £3, but I can safely say I absolutely love this product. It is very easy to apply and it is extremely soft.
The product did not last as long as the chubby stick (which I did not expect it to). I needed to reapply it after 1 hour of wearing it! I was able to reapply without it feeling thick and clumpy.
The colour does not have a strong pigment, but definitely gives noticeable colour.
This product left my lips feeling extremely moisturised with a lovely subtle pink colour. I would definitely recommend this and have purchased two more colours off the MUA website (so please keep an eye out for a post with these in).

Overall I am extremely pleased with the two MUA products I have purchased and have just ordered myself a few more products from their website, so please keep an eye out for a post on these :)!

Good evening all!

As you can guess from the title today has not been very nice here in England, it has been very cloudy, dark and wet which was a bit of a shock to the system as I was just getting used to the lovely spring weather!

The office felt a bit gloomy because of the horrible weather, so myself and a colleague thought what better than a lovely Starbucks to cheer ourselves up!

With the weather not being very nice I definitely wanted something hot! As you know from my last post, I am trying to stick with healthy eating so, I decided to go for a Nonfat Caramel Macchiato (I had never had this before and was very intrigued!)

I could not believe it when the Barista handed me this drink, for something with only 140 calories and 1g fat this looking amazing and very scrumptious. It had a very thick layer of foam on top and was covered in a delicious looking, shiny caramel sauce.

You would definitely not think this drink was a healthy option by the look and taste of it! It was lovely and I would definitely get it again, however it was extremely sweet (perfect for all of you with a sweet tooth), one downfall is that it was very hard to actually drink this and escape the sweet foam and caramel sauce without it going all over my top lip!
I would not be able to get this drink any bigger than a 'tall' as I would say this was just enough for me. I would not recommend this if you are not too keen on sweet tasting coffees!

Good evening all! I would like to apologise for my lack of blogging over the past couple of days! I have been very busy at work, so have not had much time for myself! :(

After my "What's In My Make Up Bag" post I have had quite a few requests to review the Clinique Chubby stick (Shade Heftiest Hibiscus).

If I was asked to sum this item up in one word, it would be amazing. I have honestly never come across such a great lip colour that acts as a balm as well! The texture once applied is a mix between a lip gloss and a lip balm, without all the stickiness. I cannot stand lip glosses & lip balms that feel sticky, thick and gross, but definitely none of that here!

Considering this is a moisturising balm, the colour of this is fantastic. I have purchased a fair amount of moisturising balms in the past that claim to give colour as well as moisturise, which is very rarely the case, they always seem to moisturise well but never have the colour I crave!

This is definitely something that does exactly what it says on the tin, after applying it my lips feel very soft. After the first application I find I do not have to re-apply for at least 3 hours, which is an added bonus!

If like me, your lips are looking or feeling dry and you want to put lip colour onto them, without having to try and add moisture to them beforehand, I would definitely recommend this to you.

I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a pigmented lip colour that does not feel thick, sticky or dries your lips out and lasts a long time before needing a touch up.

Good Morning everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Today I am going to be doing a post on "What's In My Make Up Bag" as I have had quite a few requests for this and thought it is a fab idea!

Snow Fairy shower gel

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely day!

So today I am going to be doing a post on a product that can only be purchased around Christmas time & this is Lush Snow Fairy shower gel. Apologies for posting this now, seeing as you cannot go out and purchase it from LUSH themselves, but I cannot contain myself any longer!.

Every Christmas I stock up on this to make sure I have enough to get me through the year, as I absolutely love the stuff!

I adore the sweet smell of this & the smell lingers around for a good few hours and for this reason, it may not be good for those of you that find sweet smelling things sickly.

This shower gel is very creamy and lathers up really well, meaning you do not have to use too much at once! Not only does it make your skin smell lovely, but it also makes your skin feel super soft!

It contains a small amount of glitter, but it is not enough for it to be extremely noticeable on your skin (like a lot of shower gels that contain glitter).

I would definitely recommend this. If you are looking to try it, I believe you can find it on websites like ebay!

A quick question for you all!

Good morning all!

I am having a bit of a dilemma and would love to know your opinions and thoughts.

Following on from my 'Hairly Disappointed' post, it got me thinking & I thought this would be the perfect place to try and get some answers to an ongoing query I have.

I have been told by numerous amounts of people that I should not wash my hair every day, and should only do it 3-4 times a week. However.. I find this near enough impossible! I wash my hair every day without a fail. I find if I do not wash my hair one day it will go very greasy looking and feels horrible!

I just could not contemplate washing my hair 3-4 times a week.. Trust me, I really wish I could! It would save me so much time :(

Soooo my question to all of you is:
"How often do you wash your hair?"

Do you have any advice? I am starting to find that my hair is sometimes very dry and I think it may be down to washing it far too often!
I would love to know any hints or tips you all have on how to keep your hair looking and smelling nice, without washing it everyday!

So everyone has those days when they wake up and their hair is not feeling as nourished as it could be, you are in a rush and do not have time to re-wash it (even though it was only done the night before).. In cases like these I turn to the good old fashioned method of baby powder! This can get a bit messy - especially when I am already in my work clothes and drop baby powder all over myself!

I was in Asda I decided to buy some Batiste Dry Shampoo (Coconut & Exotic Tropical), as I have heard nothing but good things about this stuff and I know that a lot of people use it.

It kills me to say that I am really disappointed with this purchase! :( I really, really wanted this product to work, but it just didn't.

It made my hair feel more dirty than it did clean and made it feel extremely dry and limp! It also turned my hair a very dull, greyish colour!

I thought the problems I was having may have been down to my very dark brown hair colour, so I used my boyfriend as a bit of a guinea pig to see how it worked on him (much to his dismay :-P)! He has naturally bright, beach blonde hair and it did exactly the same to him! It made his hair feel very rough and made the colour so dull, and again grey looking!

I have heard nothing but good things about this product, but I guess it just isn't for me! I would love to hear your thoughts on it and your experiences if you have ever used it!

Shadow on your eyes ♥

Ok, so first things first.. Please ignore the untidy, used state of the eyeshadows in the photo's! I got them last week and have been using them both since!
I am a little upset with myself for not taking photos before I started using them, but they were so nice I couldn't resist!

I saw these in Superdrug for £4.49 each but decided to do browsing online first. I buy a lot of my beauty products from fragrancedirect.co.uk and found them on there for a FANTASTIC £1.40 each (click here to view them on fragrance direct)

I love the colours, they are stunning. I am not one who likes subtle eye shadows, I like them to be very bright and to stand out, so for me these are perfect.

My personal favourite of the two is the Posh Peacock, it is so bright and absolutely perfect for the spring/summer time.
I love Audacious Amethyst, it is a lovely lilac colour which has a tiny shimmer to it in some lights.

I am very happy with the texture of the eye shadow and the application is very easy, I personally like my eye shadow to look very bold & opaque, so two layers is perfect for me, however for those of you prefer a more subtle look one application would definitely do the job.

One very little downside to these eyeshadows is that they can get very powdery when applying it to the brush, so before you actually put it onto your eyes gently blow the brush first, to remove any excess eye shadow! Otherwise you do run the risk of having lots of powder fall over your cheeks!

050 - Fifty Shades of Pink

I tragically ran out of my foundation (blog with this in to follow!) and had to rush over to Superdrug to go pick up some more! They had an offer on Rimmel products "Buy one get one half price", I have to admit I was a little disappointed as their offer is usually buy 2 get 1 free.

I was soon cheered up when I saw that to celebrate 50 years of Superdrug (yay Happy Birthday!)I would receive a free Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish, so I went for the shade 050 - Fifty Shades of Pink.

I am very sceptical when it comes to buying drugstore nail polishes, I think they are great for some people, but i find most of the ones I have tried do not tend to sit well on my nails, and chip super quickly. I also find that they are sometimes very hard to apply. How wrong could I be? Rimmel have definitely changed their formula since I last used their nail polish for my Summer Ball '12.

The application was very easy, as the brush was very thick, so I was able to get full coverage of my nails very easily! It dried super quickly (so the 60seconds claim is in fact true) and has held together very well (still no chips - yay)! I love the colour, it is dark, but bright Fuchsia shade. The bottle says to use one coat which did look nice, however I always use two coats to get that opaque look!
