Merging Chrome Bookmarks With Google Bookmarks

Only way to add all your chrome bookmarks into Google bookmarks

This is not a simple Job to do, as Google messed up a lot, by not merging Chrome Bookmarks(chrome://bookmarks) with Google Bookmarks(google.com/bookmarks)

NB:Try if and only if, your number of Chrome Bookmarks exceeds atleast 50(as the steps are too long and time consuming).......BTW mine exceeded 3000 bookmarks!!
So :)

1.Export Chrome Bookmarks as html file

for this Go to Bookmark Manager...........select organize.........select Export Bookmarks to html file

2. Install Firefox 4

&select bookmarks..........select show all bookmarks..............select import and backup.................select import html............

Restart Firefox....now all your chrome bookmarks will be on Firefox4

3.Install the Google Toolbar(which is now discontinued)(open the link below on just installed firefox)

Since discontinued, We are unable to sign in through toolbar

So to sign in to Google account through Toolbar some editing is needed

The toolbar gets installed in your home directory on windows and not on Program Files

Go to
C:\Users\"User"\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla
Search for
file "toolbar.js"

Open up toolbar.js with a Wordpad

Find:

www.google.com/accounts
and replace ALL with:
accounts.google.com

Restart Firefox...............

4.Now you can sign in to your Google account through toolbar on firefox

Select Google Bookmarks on toolbar.............select Import Firefox Bookmark

There we go................................................................................................

Google bookmark now include all your chrome bookmarks

5.Create a chrome bookmark and name it to GMark and add these line of code into url

Keyword: gb
URL:http://google.com/bookmarks/find?&q=%s
(In the Search Engines window there is also an option to make this the default search, if you wish.)

Now a days, many uses Internet-explorer just to download Chrome. Chrome is Google's window into Internet.They made it simple yet powerful and secure. Chrome was visioned to smash IE and made it open-sourced as they want the world and hence other browsers(open-sourced Firefox) move in Big G's envisioned path. Chrome is getting its way into no 1 position or at least Google is getting what it envisioned .

Configure custom searches to happen in as few keystrokes as possible.

You can assign a keyword to a search engine bookmark in Chrome, which uses the %s variable to pass parameters to the URL.

To do so, right-click in Chrome's address bar and choose "Edit Search Engines." There, you can add, edit, or remove searches and assign keywords in the Keyword field.

Using this technique you can, for instance, Update Twitter with a keyword via Google. (Set the URL to http://google.com/search?q=site:twitter.com+%s and the keyword to twt. Then, to search Twitter archives in Chrome, type twt "your search here" into the address bar.

Disable Google Chrome automatic updates in Windows

Launch Windows Registry Editor
Locate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Policies/Google/Update
If you don't see the Google as key there in the left pane under Policies, then you will need to create a key named Google and then create a another key named Update under newly created key Google.
Add a new DWORD value named: DisableAutoUpdateChecksCheckboxValue
Set it to 1 to disable automatic updates. If you want to enable them, set it to 0.
Add a new DWORD value named: AutoUpdateCheckPeriodMinutes
Set a number of minutes; for example, 1440 for once a day, 10080 for once a week, and so on.

Now you know how to disable update.There is one use with it. Did you ever used Chrome's vertical tabs

Its a 1GHz (single core) Qualcomm Scorpion chip set ARM V7 processor with Adreno 200 GPU. A 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, internal storage is 1.5GB, dual SIM support with dual Standby.

The screen is a 5 inches (4.92 inches to be precise) multi-touch(5 point) capacitive with amazing 16.8 million colours for life like clarity.

Handsets support dual SIM(3G & 2G GSM) and microSD card up to 32GB. As far as connectivity is concerned the A100 supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and micro USB port.
The camera is of of 5 megapixel resolution auto focus camera with LED flash. The 0.3MP front camera is also included.

The Quadrant Benchmark tool gave it a score of 2075 and on Antutu it scored 2733. This when compared with Spice Mi-425’s Quadrant score of around 1414 is just too good. The loudspeaker and in call speaker quality is really good. It has G-Sensors, proximity and light sensors.

ICS OS (Android 4.0) runs pretty smooth. You can play HD videos at 720p – full HD at 1080p is not supported – you will need to convert the videos to supported format. The back side has got the soft satin finish which gives a solid grip and comfortable to hold in spite of it’s big size. Noise cancellation is supported via dual microphones.

A battery is of2000 mAh that can powers the Micromax A100 with up to 5 hours of talktime and about a week in standby mode. The handset should easily last for more than a day for heavy users.

This is a budget friendly Note 1 competitor.(BTW Sammy already announced an event for Note2 )

1.Once you open up Google Now by swiping up either in the lock screen or home screen, say google to let device to start listening to you

2.While voice inputting from the #android keyboard,which you can do offline also, if you pause for some time after a sentence, it stops listening from you,.if you want it to listen you again,press the button once more

3.When you have the keyboard up, the back symbol in the black bar changes to a down caret, which will no doubt make that #google UI step easier to grasp for new users.

4. Voice recognition does indeed work with no cellular connectivity, though you do lose the confidence level underline under words

A New Homepage Interface

YouTube is experimenting with a new design of the homepage. The left sidebar now lists all your subscriptions and you can see the number of recent videos from each subscription. There's also a search box that lets you find a subscription. The sidebar no longer includes popular YouTube categories and the suggested channels are displayed below your subscriptions in the scrolling list.

Another change is that the videos from your feed take up a lot more space because the thumbnails are bigger. The new interface lets you hide videos from the feed, a feature that used to be available in the previous YouTube UIs. YouTube also shows a small "watched" label over the thumbnail after playing a video.

If you are even in a most democratic country like India, You will see a huge blow to internet freedom, as day-to-day govt. is blocking international webpages.....
So every company inorder to work in india should have servers in india...
so google.co.in is only working. Even though google.com link is provided in front page of google it is blocked...

so what are the advantages of the google's international page.........

Google has once again showed its mighty with irresistible way of adding plus infront of search. Many of us even today dont know what google plus is.Every one of us thought it as a simple lost social product. Nope, it is a Google project . With that in mind Google add stuffs, remove part or full of it without notice and remember that you are still in beta!

Google finally realised that their advertisement field needs powerful social backgrounds.When they looks at facebook as a successful social advertising company, they acknowledge their failure to become up-to-date as facebook is.

PLUS starts with creating identity! Facebook is using friends liking as way of advertising. Facebook's attitude is like "your friend like this so you should like this other wise it is going to stay here!!!". Google take a huge lesson from Facebook's attitude in promoting advertising. if your circler like an ad, chances are there you will like it because you only added that person to your circle because of your interest to him or her.

So Google plus is all about plus1. There are 80% more chance to click ads if your friend plus one it, or if i say, more the people like an ad, more likely i will click the ad. Pluses helps Google to earn more revenue . As more and more features comes to social services, it will be no difficult for a company like google to get people from facebook to plus stuffs in the internet. And remember ALL that Google wants from you now is your identity and your pluses...sharing is automatic!!
