All About Wine is the culmination of 20 years in the company of wine, not only in a social capacity but also as restauranteur, wine merchant and host to numerous private and corporate wine tastings.

My initial foray into the world of wine was as owner of a restaurant and wine bar in London’s West End. This was back in the eighties, in the days of the ‘wine bar’. Old World wine was the norm and the vineyards of New Zealand were only just being planted. Who could have thought that 20 years would bring such diversity to the wealth of wines available to us today.

12 years working for major high street wine specialists (Regional Operations Director) and 5 years as owner and director of a chain of 3 independent wine merchants have given me a depth of experience in sourcing, buying and selling good value, quality wines, from all corners of the world. In 2005 I was proud to be awarded the coveted and prestigious award of ‘Independent Wine Merchant of the Year’.
