Welcome to Hornet Sailing Club

The Club

Hornet Sailing Club is a private members club that was founded by members of the Royal Navy in 1964. Membership today includes personnel of all three Armed Forces, their veterans and the MOD Civil Service, who are members of the Royal Naval, Army or RAF Sailing Associations.



Objectives

To encourage sailing through the provision of facilities for affordable berthing, slipping and laying up.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse was originally the wardroom for HMS Hornet when the site was the major support base for Fast Patrol Craft of the Coastal Defence Forces. more ...

The Marina has approximately 230 berths for sailing boats up to 40 feet LOA berthed alongside pontoons which have fresh water and electricity. more ...
