The result is a wonderful memory archive of the way he’s spent his time, bringing to life the trials he’s faced as well as the triumphs. One of the modern day conveniences we’ve come to take for granted is electric lighting. But whenever I’m thinking how I will survive the apocalypse, I’m always saddened by how dark the world will become when electricity stops flowing through the grid. Not any more. Say hello to bio-engineered glowing plants!

A team of geneticists and futurists have started a project on Kickstarter with the aim of developing a bio-luminescent plant. Apocalypse lighting problem solved.
