The marketing mix is referred to marketers. It is vital when establishing what is being offered by  a specific  product or brand. It is frequently linked to the four P’s: promotion, and place price, product, 

 

• Product – The Product needs to meet consumers needs, it should meet their requirements and be effective.

• Place – It should be in a place (available) to the consumer, where they shop (eg. Mail Order, mall  or online shop.

• Price – It should constituent value for money.By no mean does this infer that it should be the cheapest. it must be pitched at the right price..
• Promotion – There are a number of means for promoting the product. This could include door to doors sales , tiop line advertising, Sales Promotion. today more than ever Social Media is becomigna key means of communication (Ignore the internet at your peril!)

 

In marketing, a service the 4 Ps are often increased to the seven P’s to refer to different aspects of services.

Interestingly , the concept of four C’s  later replaced the 4 Ps in the context of a customer driven organization (consumer, cost,communication, convenience). This can be contrasted with Shimizu’s four Cs (communication, channel,
