Much travelled she lived in Germany and Hong Kong and  loved Holidays abroad, particularly in the Greek Islands. She was a child of the sun was always happiest in a sunny climate or in her garden. She left her mark on this world and is sorely missed by those she left behind.

Sam passed away peacefully on 17^th February 2013 aged 85 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandpa. Private cremation followed by a service of thanksgiving at South Molton Methodist Church on Tuesday 5^th March 2013 at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, are for South Molton Community Hospital League of Friends, at the service or care of J. Westacott & Son Funeral Directors, 2a West Street, South Molton, EX36 4DG.

Always laughing, telling a joke or two – either that or talking about football. Laurel and Hardy and John Wayne were his heroes, although I think my childhood love of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ drove him insane!

You’re going to be missed by so many people; too many to mention. First and foremost, your wife, Granny Betty, daughter Janine, sons Johnny and Brian (dad), as well as all your grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Your daughter-in-law, my mum Marie and extended family this side of the water, in Manchester, will always hold you in a special place in their hearts.

Gone but can never truly be forgotten. Hope when you look down on us all, we can make you as proud of us as we are of you.

Rest In Peace, Granda. I can think of no greater honour than to be your Grandson.
