In exactly 2 and a half weeks i'll be on my way to Morocco with DIPXO! My parents went a few years ago and loved it so much Dad has always wanted to take me. This year is my lucky year as he's whisking me away for a tourist trip to Marrakesh for 5 days and i'm so excited! Since losing so much weight since last summer (2lbs off 3 stone!) none of my summer clothes fit me which is awesome but expensive at the same time! Wanting to respect the culture I've bought shorts that come to my knees, t shirts and then maxi dresses for the evening which i can wear cardigans with. I know it'll be really hot over there so hopefully i won't melt and what I've got will be fine! I can't wait to go somewhere new and the fact the sun will be shining is even better!
Have you been to Marakesh before? Any tips?

Ahh neon, i still love you so and how amazing are these trousers from Lashes Of London? There's a matching top which i'm just going to have to get, obviously. I love these lace detailing and i think they'll be perfect for cooler summer days. I decided to team it with my neon Marc Jacobs iPad mini case which i like to use as a clutch bag as well, it's the perfect size.

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that there's been two new additions to our bachlorette pad, two beautiful 8 week old kittens! They are the cutest things ever, so teeny tiny and so cuddly! They're both sisters and hate to be apart from each other (they cry when they can't see the other!) they always sleep together and wash each other too! Honestly, my heart melts. I'm trying not to overload Instagram too much with photos of them but owwww they are so gorgeous! They've been driving me insane for the past 2 hours so i'm very pleased to say Beyonce is now purring her sleepy head away on my chest! Ah peace at last!

I'm off for a meal out with the rents tonight which i'm so looking forward too! It was my Dads birthday yesterday and even though i see my parents more now i'm back in Leicesterhsire we haven't been out for a while so i'm very much looking forward to a propa catch up and some laughs!

As i get asked about Slimming World a lot now i thought i'd do a whole dedicated post answering any questions or queries you might have. I thought it was easier to have it all in one place and hopefully it'll be helpful! If you have anything you want to know please feel free to ask away and i'll get the post up over next week.

Speckle - £4.95 / Colour - £2.60 I am an absolute sucker for anything with cute packaging, and these polishes are a prime example of that. I found these whilst browsing eBay a few weeks ago and i fell in love with them straight away as i'm sure you can imagine. It was really hard to narrow them down but i thought i'd get the ones i'd most likely wear when we eventually have our summer! I love these polishes, for the price they're really durable and are very true to colour. Easy to apply with days of no chip! Now where's the sunshine..?! Do you like these? Which colour will you be purchasing?

I wore this outfit when i went down to London last Wednesday (Thanks Gemma for snapping these for me!) and it's becoming one of my favourites, casual yet comfy. The Celine tee is now only £3.99 by the way! As you can see my hair is a little different, i wish i could say i did this myself but unfortunately i'm not that talented, i had my hair and make up done at the Coast event i attended and i loved it so much i decided to keep it for the whole day! Had another amazing weekend which started on Thursday with a night out in Loughborough! I ended up then going out Friday as well and then on Saturday we had our Playboy Mansion themed house party where we dressed up as bunnies! It was so so so much, i laughed until i cried, sang until it hurt and went to bed as the sun was coming up. It was one of those weekends which will be remembered for a long time and it's made me appreciate how amazing the people in my life are. With all that being said, I've now made myself ill as i woke up with another rubbish cold and possibly laryngitis for the second time in a month! Boo! But it was so worth it and i'd do it all over again!

I've got a pretty chilled out week this week, i'm off out for dinner & drinks with the girls tonight but nothing too heavy i hope! (famous last words) and then hopefully listing half of my wardrobe on eBay as nothing fits me anymore. I also need to get back in my blogging routine as everything is now getting on top of me and it's stressing me out! I know my blog posts are still a little varied at the moment, i'm still finding my feet after a crazy couple of months but i just want to say thank you to those who have stuck with me and continue to show me the blog love! It means an awful lot and without you guys i wouldn't be able to do half of the things i can. Love you all! Have a good week!

HOMEMADE BURGERS & CHIPS (SLIMMING WORLD FRIENDLY)

Since i first mentioned doing slimming world on here a couple of months ago, what i eat is a question i get asked an awful lot. So i thought it was about time to introduce weekly recipes and i'm starting with my favourite, burgers & chips. This is so easy to do, and the fact it's 100% homemade makes it taste even better!If you want to try this, you will need extra lean mince, two baking potatoes, burger toppings (i picked lettuce, onion and low fat cheese), whole wheat roll, lea & perins, garlic salt, white pepper and paprika. You will also need fry light.
The chips - You can peel the potatoes, or leave the skins on and cut in to chips. As my oven is pretty good i don't need to boil the potatoes first but i have done before to make them fluffy. Using fry light, spray your baking tray, put the chips in and give a generous spray all over. Place in the oven at around 200 for 30/40 mins depending on how well done you want them.
The burger - In a mixing bowl add the mince and as much of the lea & perins as you want. Same applies for the garlic salt, white pepper and paprika. I usually add a generous amount of them all as i like to give the burgers a lot of flavour, but again it's all about preference. Using the fry light again, spray your frying pan and cook the burger until it's done to your taste.
And then you're done, serve how you see fit and then tuck in! So easy to make and so yummy!

The 15 year old scene me would be all over this outfit, snap back caps and Drop Dead Clothing were the ultimate must have for any outfit back in the day. So when i got contacted by Drop Dead to feature them on my blog the kid in me jumped for joy! I picked this key and locket top as i thought the design was really cute, it is very generous in terms of size so i would suggest going down a size if you want to get your paws on it too! As for a bit of colour, i thought the Boohoo skirt i wore in my shoot would be perfect. Such a fun outfit bringing back fun memories!

I had a really lovely bank holiday weekend and spent it with some awesome people! I went bowling yesterday which was brilliant, although i'm absolutely awful i managed to get the first strike and i won one of the games, go me! It was an absolute fluke though, not based on skill in the slightest. I've got quite a nice week planned too, i'm off to London tomorrow for an event and a much over due catch up with Gemma! Lunch with some friends, nights out and then our Playboy Mansion themed house party on Saturday which should be so much fun! But first things first, spending the afternoon sat out in the garden working on a tan is all i have planned for the rest of the day, hope you're all enjoying the beautiful weather too!

Even though this little beauty box only arrived yesterday i couldn't wait to show you! I've been a big fan of Front Cover Cosmetics for years now and so i was really pleased to be able to try something from their new S/S collection. I picked the 'New Colours Of The Season' box. Complete with 3 domed baked powder eyeshadows, 3 mini lipsticks, a nail polish, cheek dome, black coal eye pencil with smudger, cheek brush and a double ended eye brush. Pretty much everything you need in the colours of the season! I love these products, they make the perfect gift for beauty lovers and i think their collections are always unique! A couple of weeks ago i was contacted by the lovely team at Shopstyle to try out their site by purchasing an on trend outfit by using their shopping portal. It's a really easy to navigate site and it makes online shopping a lot easier by having everything all in one place. You can browse from a wide range of brands and you pretty much tailor your own shopping experience As i'm a big fan of ASOS, River Island and New Look i decided to filter my search to just those shops. I also knew i wanted to pick a monochrome outfit so i made the colour options available in black and white only. This way it picks everything for me and saves time browsing each site and going through pages and pages. It picks items from clothing, shoes and accessories so you can have a good selection and it makes it so easy to pick an outfit. It's a really fun site to visit and you can get lost on there for hours without an issue. This is the outfit i picked and it's probably one of my favourites this year, because it's just totally 100% out of my comfort zone. I never thought i'd be in white trousers and a crop top, but hey, i love it! Totally recommend Shopstyle as an alternative online shopping portal.
Had another really lovely weekend, kicking things off with a night out in Leicester on Friday and some yummy cocktails! On Saturday i met up with an old school friend for lunch, treated myself to some yummy coffee cake at my housemates tearoom, went swimming for an hour (still aching!) and then spent the evening making a house meal and watching films with the girls. We all decided to sit down and eat together and each provide a course, i had starter and made mini quiches which turned out really well. I'll get a recipe up hopefully sometime this week and try and get one up at least once a week as I've been asked a lot about what food i'm eating on Slimming World.
Busy week planned this week, off to see Iron Man 3 this afternoon which i'm so looking forward too, then I've got Tami and baby Isla coming to visit on Wednesday then hopefully Skegvagas with DIPXO on Thursday for our annual trip! With the weather being so nice at the moment it just makes me want to go out all the time so i really hope it lasts! Can you believe it's May this week? Where is this year going?!

NEW YORK - HELICOPTER RIDE

One of the things myself and Mumma Price really wanted to do whilst in New York was a heli ride over the city at sundown. As i knew it would be really expensive i wanted to make sure we wouldn't be wasting out pennies so after a lot of research Heliny seemed the best company to book with. We did the Manhattan by Night - The New Yorker Tour which was $139 per person and the duration 12-15 mins (although being the last tour of the day ours was more like 20 - 25!) and believe me it was worth every single penny. We were so lucky with the weather that day, we literally couldn't have picked a better day and by going up 20 mins earlier than planned actually ended up being the best decision too! I can't explain just how incredible this experience was and the photos really don't do any of it justice. I recommend everyone to do this!

REVIEW - LAURA MERCIER FOUNDATION & HOURGLASS PRIMER

LAURA MERCIER Silk Creme Foundation - £33 ($43) HOURGLASS veil mineral primer 10ml - £20 ($18) I've always been really lucky with my skin, I've never really any problems with it and i'd happily leave the house without any make up on. But one thing i am aware of is occasionally uneven skin tone, which is why i wear foundation. I've heard wonderful things about Laura Mercier (i think it was Kate who first raved about it) and it's been on my wishlist ever since! So naturally, whilst i was in America and apparently money was no object, i decided to get matched at Sephora and pick it up. I was matched to cream ivory and i'm very happy with the shade, it's a perfect match for me. I've been using this for the past month and i literally cannot express how much i love this foundation, it is the best foundation i have ever used and it so worth the price tag a million times over. A little goes a long way to give amazing coverage, it's easy to blend in and it leaves my skin looking really dewy and healthy. As i was picking up a decent foundation, i thought it made sense to pick up a good primer too. This again is another product I've heard wonderful things about in the blogging world but it is very expensive, so i decided to pick up the 10ml version. I've been using it some days with the foundation and some days without, i can't actually notice a difference the longevity of my foundation during the day but on nights out i certainly notice a massive difference with the nights i wear it, in fact one night i was very naughty and went to bed in my make up (don't do it kids!) and woke up and my bronzer and blusher was still in place like i'd just put it on. When i think of the dancing i'd done i thought this was very impressive and really made me think about this being a miracle product. Overall i love both of these products, i think they've made a massive improvement to my daily make up and i would certainly re purchase both again. I love this playsuit, the print, the colour, the shape, the fit, everything. You can also get the print in other items too which i love. I'm a big fan of Motel and it's always nice to see a company doing well!

After posting some selfies on Instagram last week I've been asked again about my weight loss, you can see the first post here for those interested. I'm going to do another follow up post soon, and start including recipes on here as they've been requested quite a lot. It gives me an excuse to experiment in the kitchen too which is always fun!

I've had a ridiculous sore throat/cough all week which has been driving me insane as i feel absolutely fine! After drinking copious amounts of honey & lemon, cough medicine and strepsils all week it's still not shifting and i'm at a loss of what to do now! Any suggestions would be great.

Despite this, I've had a really nice social week/weekend, in fact the weeks are just flying away and i can't believe it's going to be May next week! So lovely to finally see the sunshine, it really changes everyone's mood and it just gets me so excited for days out, summer parties with my girls and even longer days.

Now we have the internet I've been eBay shopping like there's tomorrow, I've got this, this, this and this all on it's way to me and i'm so excited! Internet shopping, i love you!

STORYLOOK EYESHADOW PALETTE VOL 2

Storylook Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 2 - $55
As i'm sure you can imagine it was love at first sight, in fact it was love before i even saw it in person. I'm not one to get in to Disney related hype, i'm probably the only girl who didn't really get in to Disney as a kid and couldn't tell you which prince married who. But i must admit i always did have a soft spot for Aladain and so this palette made me swoon instantly. It was perfect timing really, considering i was off to America a few weeks after making the discovery so i knew i had to have it. Unfortunately this palette is limited edition and only available at Sephora, so sorry if you've fallen in love too. I know a lot of what you're paying for is the packaging, but for that reason i just think it's so worth it. I'm a sucker for packaging and this one is right up there with the good ones. It's just perfect. Now the pigmentation is alright, some shades need working with a lot more than others, and there is visible fall out but you can certainly create some looks with them, i did one a few weeks ago and then another one tomorrow. I do love this palette, and i'm glad i have it for my collection.
