Instagram is the hot social network mobile  for photo sharing,, but other solutions are available. This is a list of similar services I reviewed on 01photo.org . I’ve tested four services. and here are my quick impression. As a matter of fact, I thought I ‘d find lots of instagram clones! I only tested apps that are available on Android. You may find other with iphone apps.

Conclusion, ce n’est pas parce qu’un service est populaire qu’il est le meilleur. On choisira la solution streamzoo, pour un vrai partage et on laissera tomber instagram.

Most blogs have an  e-mail subscription option for updates, but they are, most of the time, daily or weekly options. In case you want to be alerted instantly  of a blog post publication, you have to use other tools. Fortunately, these tools are available on the Internet and most important of all, they are free!

But why would you want to receive a realtime rss update via  email?

• To be the first to post a comment on the blog!
• You’re addicted to information and you want to be the first to be informed.
• You want to be updated on any RSS feed and not necessarily a blog RSS feed.

IFTTT  (the Swiss Army knife)

The rss feed link is generally represented by an orange icon with a dot and two white arcs. You can see my recipe on Ifttt.com/recipes/43766 which offers a subscription by mail to an RSS feed. To unsubscribe you must go on IFTTT and delete or turn off the recipe.

Feed2mail.com (no sign in)

This site does one thing, but it does it well. Feed2mail is a real-time feed notification via email. Without a subscription. No subscription is required and you can set as many RSS feeds you want.

Bloglovin (google reader + mail)

With bloglovin we move to a higher degrees of sophistication. This service is a news aggregator similar to googlereader or netvibes, but on top you have the option to get notified in real time by mail.

Blogtrottr.com (real-time and other goodies)

Create an account, import your OPML file, or simply add the RSS feed. For each feed you can choose a type of mailing: real-time  every 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 hours and daily,

I just tested my clout on Pinterest. As expected, I don’t have any clout. The good news it that my clout is growing, so things are not that all bad!

In fact, repinly is a pinterest meme. As a side dish you can measure  your pinterest score. I guess that the maximum score is 100, so I still have some progress to make.

You can follow you progress on this site. You can check your best pins and your best boards. My score on that site is above 31, but going up!

Every action you do on inernet has a price. As you can see, y pin is worth 16 cents et the cost per link is 5 cents. I am rich!

If you use googlereader you might be fed up of using the default interface. You may use a minimalist interface using : “Google Reader Readable”  to be downloaded at the chrome webstore.  Then your news will look that way (see image below).  Just neat and clean !

If you want your google reader to look like a webzine,  I advise to use feedly to be downloaded here

Writing a diary on the Internet is relatively an easy task, but if one can be reminded by a daily email  to write something every day: it’s better. I have been using ohlife for more than  a year now. My conclusion is that my life seems to be pretty boring sometimes. So this helps me to try to do something different every day. It’s a real therapy, but believe me:  it’s not an easy task to do something really different every day.

If you want to discover or rediscover Brazilian music, no need to go to a store anymore or book a flitght to Brazil. Music comes to you through The Internet. Here is a selection of 6 sites offering free High quality Brazilian music to listen to .

From  these 6 sites you can find all the titles and artist names to eventually buy the titles online. Except for the first selection, none of these sites are Brazilians, Nobody is a prophet in his country!  Enjoy !

AccuRadio broadcasts an incredible number of music themes, two of them a dedicated to Brazilian music.

Again, I do not know why Pinterest is the new Internet coqueluche, but there are other sites that do pretty much the same on the Internet (of course it is on hte Internet!). Sometimes I wonder why a site becomes popular! I don’t see any particular reason, but that the way it is. My theory is that it is the equivalent of the butterfly effect. Pinterest was the butterfly that flapped its wing at a particular moment, at a particular place, with a particular  force to make the success happen. (the right product, at the right moment,at  the right place promoted by the right person) . Anyway I like pinterest because it is fast, handy and neat.

Anyway you should also test the 4 following Internet photo tagging tools. Sometimes it’s not too good to collect all your picture at the same place. You might also like adult picture that have to be shared on special anonymous places.

 The aim is to pin (tag, categorize…) a picture in a few clicks from a bookmarklet, a fire-fox add-on or a Chrome  Extension. Then you can have people following you on each of these tools.  As I am not a famous person, I don’t understand why peole should follow me, but nowadays, follwing somebody on a social network is senseless.

Il liked it at first, but it is not possible to tag the piture. The fact that pinterest offers to pin the picture with tags and then put the pictures on a collection is may be why this site has become so popular.

1) Pinterest

Just add an app link shortcut to Pinterest.  Note that you can just do the same by adding a shortcut to pinterest on your toolbar.

This extension allows to pin (pin) a picture in much the same way as the bookmarklet available on the pinterest.com goodies. The added value of this extension is a counter that allows you to see how many times the picture has benn pinned . In order not to overload your chrome browser, it is still preferable to use the bookmarklet.(pinterest.com goodies)

The primary goal  of pinterest is to share already existing images on Internet. This extension allows you to search on google image faster. When you surf on Pinterest, an additional button appears on each image (search).Just, click to go directly to google image.

How did I find this images? Very simple, I just crawled down the tumbler image tag (evolution) tumblr.com/tagged/evolution

it is hard to find the real source of this pictures and images. Please if you find one of your artwork, let me know and give me the instruction. (remove or add a link to the orginal artwork.  I may use tineyes.com to find other sources but I neve know if it is the orginal or a copy
