Tried multiple themes, Theme Hybrid is the best of the lot (except Thesis). Hybrid provides clean code, much better SEO and very good extensibility with Child themes. Highly recommended

With VNC you need to open inbound TCP ports in the firewall for remote access and this can compromise security. RHUB is a good alternative to some of the VNC products. On top of remote control, it also has web conferencing functions.
