"Direct, concise, and just what we needed."

2013-03-30T21:43:00.001-07:00

We just received our new poster art for 2012. Thanks very much to Danny Glix for putting this together. Danny is a very energetic young Graphic Design and Creative Freelance Visual Designer. His typical mission is to brand a mid-sized company so that their visual identity is impressive, and their digital graphic materials represent them in the highest form. We are pleased to have him working with us. In addition to the poster, Danny whipped up the new logo at top of this page.

Reactions to the logo have been very positive. "Direct, concise, and just what we needed," says the chair of our Development Committee, Dr. Howard Johnson. "Good graphics are the hallmark of a well-run organization. Danny gives us that edge."

Words from satisfied client Healix about our customer service and quality of work!

2012-05-18T10:43:00.001-07:00

Check out this blog post we discovered today on our client Healix's blog!

"I must shout out Mr. Danny Glix, a seriously dope artist and graphic designer with whom Healix had the pleasure of working . Danny promises one-day turnaround on projects and offers a variety of methods to conference on projects in development. My partner and I agreed upon a design working with Danny from two different locations in a project that took only three hours and yielded services our blog will be able to use well into the future. Beyond his graphic design mojo, Danny offers stellar branding expertise, networking tips and help with developing your copy in projects ranging from logos to eflyers and beyond. I was blown away by his eye for detail and perfectionist bent, but I was initially sold because he replied to my initial email inquiry within 20 minutes. Remember that? Customer service? He offers it in spades, as I met him at his home the next day, met his lovely girlfriend and enjoyed some rather delicious red hot almonds while soaking in his wealth of design knowledge. As a side note, his super computer thoroughly intimidated me; it appeared as if it could potentially be used to smite someone at will anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice (lol). The eflyer for Healix’s upcoming hair mixer is just one product of his expertise. I deeply, deeply dig Mr. Danny Glix."

Every Broken Hearted Girl Needs a Web Guy

2012-01-18T20:30:00.000-08:00

Check out this awesome testimonial left by Colorfury client "Changing Habits" /& "My Divorce Diet Plan"

permalink source: mydivorcedietplan.blogspot.com/2012/01/every-broken-hearted-girl-needs-web-guy.html

Every Broken Hearted Girl Needs a Web Guy

Every girl going through the crisis of a painful breakup while developing her own business will need a web site and a web designer. I suggest a guy. Along with his masterful, graphic design skills, he makes her laugh, calls her ‘dude’ and frequently uses the phrase ‘it’s all good’. Because he sees her potential while heartache is blocking it from her view, he pushes her past the self imposed limits she would have very contently settled for.

Ladies, take my word for it, you don’t need a new boyfriend, what you need is a web guy. If he hosts your site, you get a committed relationship without the drama. He reliably returns all calls and emails, compliments you and gently walks you to the vision your self-confidence is too shell shocked and afraid to believe.

During one of the darkest periods of my life, while I was cowering, licking my wounds, gasping to believe the pain would end, I was presented with a healing gift in a form I never could have designed or imagined. A web guy brought me back to life. He listened to my ideas and, by blending them with his gifts, transformed them into art. His agenda was to fill his canvas using my thoughts as inspiration. He let me go without question when I needed to take a break and was motivated and ready to continue when I recuperated and came back.

Breath taken, speechless, I present to you my websites, AnneGambina.com and MyDivorceDietPlan.com. My designer is the insanely talented, passionate, ever patient Danny Glix. (Also referred to by me as ‘Oh Great and Powerful Webmaster’, ‘Sir Glix’, ‘Lestat’, ‘Danny, Danny’ when I was hyperactive and my heartfelt, favorite ‘My Danny.’)

The moral of the story, if your heart is broken and you need to recreate your future and your dreams, start your own business and get a web guy. Not only would I recommend you share mine, I would be deeply grateful because he would receive after giving so much to me. No need to be jealous on this one. Really good web guys can handle lots of girls.

A Drupal Design Company

2010-07-04T07:22:00.000-07:00

Colorfury is proud to be one of the few companies doing higher end - enterprise level Drupal coding combined with custom designs! Drupal, for those that don't know already, is a modular CMS application SaaS that is a bit tricky to develop, and even more tricky to custom design and deck out to match a photoshop made GUI.

A designer that is worth their salt would know in today's day and age to develop an ascii friendly design with plenty of hidden DOM elements (not to the point of keyword stuffing) with jquery and javascript. CSS, divs, and dhtml help conceal search friendly data all the while appearing as natural for the end user as possible.

This delicate combination of web construction all occurs before Randall Goya, Senior Drupal Master Developer begins to work his magic. Drupal is especially considerate in connecting to google in the strongest way that any CMS can, with powerful custom nodes that are auto pinged at each update, so as little as 20 minutes after posting, you are picked up by google.
