4AD and Remote Control are pleased to announce the release of the new Mark Lanegan Band record Blues Funeral, out Friday 3 February 2012.

Blues Funeral is the first Mark Lanegan Band record since 2004′s Bubblegum. It was recorded in Hollywood, California by Alain Johannes at his 11ad studio. The music was played by Johannes and Jack Irons with appearances from Greg Dulli and Josh Homme.

Mark Lanegan has sung with Screaming Trees, Queens Of the Stone Age, The Twilight Singers, The Gutter Twins, Soulsavers and Isobel Campbell. He resides in Los Angeles and has two dogs.

To celebrate the forthcoming release of DVD Live At The Royal Albert Hall, a series of one-off cinema premieres will be held for Adele fans across 26 cities around the world this week.

These amazing events are free for Adele’s fans and tickets can be applied for now from Adele’s website www.adele.tv. On Adele’s site, fans will find a specific page containing full information for all the global screenings and will be able to click on to the venue closest to them for their ticket, date and timing information.

There will be one Australian screening held in Sydney:
