I can definitely see the chow in this dog, as I also have a chow mutt. I have to say, it’s quite nice that they’re so timid and mild. Very cute!

He’s a mut. Part Chow. Part a bunch of other dogs…. or / some people call this kind of dog a Chow Retriever, because he’s got a lot of retriever in him. He’s friendly like a retriever, but just wants to lay around like a Chow. And he’s a great guard dog when needed.

@Robert, Yes, the flashmeeting was absolutely wonderful! Too bad you couldn’t have been there - I would have loved to have “met” you. : ) I’m thinking about putting together another one, since I was told that they used to happen regularly.

I guess you’re right….a part of the world you’re not familiar with would seem exotic. And of course to me it feels quite the opposite. I think that’s something we’ve got to remember.
