BLTs! Mmmm, I can smell the bacon frying now. I have never used one of these Topsy Turvy gizmo’s before and I hope I didn’t damage the plant getting it planted. I guess I will find out.

The tomatoes are “Early Girl” var. which I have never tried but I hear are good. *fingers crossed* That’s my whole garden.

Josh, thanks for stopping by.

I have heard no plans for Opera on the iPad, however I would not be surprised if Opera has an iPad version in the works. I’ve become addicted to Speed Dial on Opera and I would love to have it on my iPad browser.

I have not encountered slow loading with iPad Safari, but then I have not had my iPad very long.

We desperately need Opera for the iPad. While I keep hearing how fast the iPad is, I definitely notice slow loading of pages in Safari on some websites. This is my biggest issue w/ the iPad actually. And running the iPhone version of Opera doesn’t take advantage of the large iPad screen.

Anyone know of plans for an iPad version? I don’t find any information on that topic at Opera’s site.

Yeah you are pretty well set. The big thing I want it for is eBooks but if you already have a kindle that is different. I am finishing up a paperback and then I am going to try both the iBooks app and the Kindle app for ipad for reading.

Also Barnes and Noble has promised an ebook app for ipad so I’m looking forward to that.

I think you will enjoy a good camera.

Thanks for your initial impressions. I have made up my mind that I am going to hold off for the next gen and see what Apple does. I already have a Macbook, iPhone, Kindle, and a separate location for internet access away from my home in case I lose service in one or the other. I decided there was another piece of equipment I would rather have. A new camera.

Would love to try it out. The app description says it was built for 3GS and I still have a 3G, so I haven’t down loaded it pending further investigation as to whether it will work on the 3G. Looks like a solid app from the reviews on iTunes.

you’re welcome. I actually posted this a few times since the original idea in 6/09, but since then i have been censored by wikipedia on several occasions and labeled a “vandal” I most recently put it back up on April Fools as a joke and I can’t believe how fast it has taken off this time. It has been a subject at work for quite a while, but to have a reporter dedicate his time to writing about my little expose is another world altogether. Or it was a slow news day in Porter Co. Thank you for your compliments and I’ll try to keep it up as long as I can.
