Yes and no, depending on what you’re doing and have. If you have any of the following, one of the new internet-ready DVD/BluRay players, an Xbox 360, PS3, WII, even some TVs and tons of other devices that are fully Netflix ready you could do this.

You can use the same Netflix account on multiple devices so if you have more than one Netflix-ready device (http://www.pcworld.com/article/189690/netflix_inside_a_comprehensive_list_of_netflix_streaming_devices.html) you can have multiple instances going in different rooms streaming different things.

Your internet speed can have an impact on how well this works too. I lived with a roommate once where we both had our own separate Netflix accounts, but ran them through the same internet. Every once and a while there was a hiccup because of this. But this was on 1.5MB internet which is probably the bare minimum that could handle Netflix anyways. So you should be fine.

Note that this is all very new and experimental. I don’t have all the answers and there’s no saying how one thing will work today or tomorrow. I’m pretty sure Netflix is going to crack down on the multiple people using the same account thing.

I predict they’ll probably come out with a family plan as they evolve into the position of where cable once stood, you watch.

i saw this movie when i was young it was about a blond young lady who got hooked on drugs…the movie was late 70′s or early 80′s i believe she ended up dying at the end if i remember her friends tried helping her with no success

My wife and I are thinking of completely stopping our cable subscription and simply streaming everything to our home that we or our children want to watch. My question to you is this (since I don’t know anyone that does this stuff!)… if I want to watch a sporting event or my wife wants to watch something like the Bachelorette, and we want to watch it at the same time the rest of the world is offered viewing through normal cable, is this possible???

Thank you very much for your time and I hope you have a bit of insight into this, for I am honestly pulling my hair out each month when I see how much we pay for our services!

If I was a conspiracy theorist…. I might even go so far as to say that Microsoft keeps IE as incompatible as possible because they know that at least half or more people are still using some dying version of IE. By continually keeping IE a thorn in web developer’s side it essentially gives them a level of control over the internet itself… their message is: “You don’t need it until we tell you it’s okay.” I cannot tell you how many website I have created using standard CSS, HTML, and javascript, ONLY to have some IE-specific glitch cause me grief for hours, or even days, as well as increase the overall cost of the client’s project by 20-30%! Microsoft needs to be held accountable by the community in general for holding us all back, Mac or PC, due to their inferior, and brain-dead browser with its Tinker-Toy driven rendering and javascript engines.

i once so this movie, about a girl in high school. she was one of the bookworms. not what you will call popular. at her school, der is this guy, who is very popular with the ladies, and has 3 different girlfriends, hwo each has a different click. So he knows that there will never be a chance that the 3 girls will find out that he’s fooling them. But somehow they all end up at detention, whit the bookworm, and the 3 ‘girlfriends’ start bitching about who he belongs to.
the bookworm talks them to there senses, and at last they alle 4 dedicate there free time to ruin this boys life.
i don’t remember the endning, but i believe it’s his birthday party. and some cake gets thrown around.
hope someone can help me.

i remember the name of the movie, is the name of the guy, playing around with the girls.

Hi Bryan, ive been looking for a film for ages but i saw a couple of years ago and i dont remember much about it. All i can remember is it was a cartoon/animation and at the beginning a little girl and her father are out on a ride the little girl on a pony and the father on a bigger horse. Then when they get back the father has to go away for some reason. Thats all i can remember if you have any ideas as of what the film cold be called i would love to see this film again. Hi Bryan, i really need help trying to remember the name of this movie. I saw it as a kid, and can not remember the title of it for the life of me. This is a vampire movie whos main character is a female. this girl became a vampire when she got caught in the cross fire of a stand off between a man and the “head” vampire. due to this happening, the head vampier whent ahead and turned her to try and save her life. as she grew up, she started grading the tast of the blood (A,B,C,D,F). as she goes along looking for that one person who has the A+ tasting blood she is trying to kill the head vampire for turning her. as she finds out in the end, the only person with the A+ blood is the head vampier. also, i think this movie came out between 1989-1998 and i believe the name on her coffin was Silver.
Please if you have any ideas on what the name of this movie could be i would love to finally be able to see this movie from my childhood agin.

That’s 99 Percent, & John Dahl is one of my fave directors. He makes films with his bro Rick (RED ROCK WEST being my personal fave), joining the ranks of famous filmmaking bros such as the Cohens & the Pate bros (whose film DECEIVER I adore). Hello. I am also trying to figure out a movie and i can’t seem to remember much of anything. I only remember a few things. The movie i believe starts out with a murder or a break in or something idk and there is this man who looses his memory of it and for some reason he has to remember, The main scene that he tries to remember is in like the top of his house in what looks like a vintage office. Its got really yellow writing with a mahogany desk, and a decretive rug, and a table etc. The room leads to the outside of the house, and when you look at it from a far view, you can see a large staircase coming from the side of the house down to ground level. Also to remember this he goes to his friend in this really white science lab, because she is doing these maze experiments on mice by giving them this yellow liquid to help them remember how they did the maze the last time so they can remember how to do it again. or something. At first the woman won’t let him take the serum, but then he steals it and injects into himself so he can remember what happens. For some reason i feel as though i remember that he is like on the run form everyone but i don’t remember why. PLEASE HELP IVE BEEN THINKING OF THIS MOVIE FOR ABOUT IDK A LOT OF YEARS!!!!

This film is Runaway Jury. Hackman plays a jury manipulator who’s opposing Dustin Hoffman. John Cusack plays a jury member with his own agenda. It was about gun control not a tobacco company.

Like the ultimate movie trivia game. I will add one. I’ll preface by saying I have tried this on some less academic sites without success. This is a movie from the early 1980s maybe late 70s. It is a collection of mature themed scenes made from classic jokes. The jokes were typical for the time period and what some might call raunchy now. Some nudity. R rating likely. No actors that I would recognize. This was not Amazon Women From the Moon. One of the scenes quoted Lenny Bruce if that dates things.
Any guess or hints to refine my search are appreciated.

Sometimes (1% of my real work) I use WYSIYG programs like DW and Microsoft Expression to prototype and get something up and running fast, i do this when i am implementing something fairly complex like a huge form with 40 inputs that i want it to look good, validate, and be functional at the same time, it all depends on the language to tell you the truth, because if i am using a Ruby gem like simple_form, then it’s hand-coded for me since those apps won’t be an option.
