I bought one two years ago and wore out the band. I am back for another one. It is not great in water. If you run it in the wash, let it dry out and it will be okay. I did that a few times.

I have purchased several Timex watches – all were the Expedition. I have had this watch since last February and now the sound is gone. The watch does not do much for me if I can’t use the alarm. This is the second Timex watch that has lost its sound. I wear my watch all day and night- everything else works except – no beeps. I am quite disappointed! I suppose I will need to look for something other than Timex. Hope I can make use of the 1 year warranty.

I purchased this watch to use as my everyday watch. I also wear this watch on my bike rides. So far I have been extremely happy with this watch, and I would highly recommend it.

What I really like about this watch:

Watch band is comfortable

Watch band uses buckle, not velcro to secure it

Watch is easy to read, and displays time, day, and month-day

Alarm on watch can be set to: Daily, Weekdays, and Weekends

3 separate alarms can be set

So far, there is nothing to complain about with this watch (I have been wearing it daily for about 5 weeks).

Great watch. It keeps time. It has an alarm that wakes you up. It’s got some other stuff that I leave alone and it leaves me alone. It’s not ugly or gaudy and doesn’t try to make me feel like a space-explorer or an Olympic athlete. My old Timex lasted almost a decade and took a pretty tough beating. If this does as well: perfect.

There are several very nice features of this watch. While it is not the smallest of its kind, it is neither bulky nor klunky. It is almost completely black, making it very versatile. The band is strong and simple, and easy to keep clean. In my opinion, this watch is basic but perfect.

I normally would not buy a watch online, but my local retailers’ stock was very depleted after Christmas. This is a nice looking watch (doesn’t look like some kind of Transformer kid’s watch). The controls are large and easy to use (4 buttons), and the interface is very intuitive, and they allow you to set the digits forwards AND backwards, which speeds up setting the alarm, etc.

The case is a little thicker than I would like, but overall I like the watch, and the digits are big enough that I can usually make out the time w/o putting on my glasses. Nice watch for $30.00 or so!

I bought a man’s watch because this watch just has the look and everything else I wanted that I couldn’t find in the women’s selections. The size is not too big for me,,,the sturdy plastic band and buckle is way better for me then the velcro. I find the velcro and color faces of the other timex watches a disaster with little wear. I love the green tint to it,,easy buttons and large clear face and just that it is all black.

I bought this watch to replace another Timex Expedition watch. I had that watch for over 10 years before it finally died and it kept perfect time right up until the end. So far, this watch is just as good as the old one. It’s comfortable, keeps time perfectly, and I use the Timer feature constantly for cooking.

I can only think of one (extremely minor) complaint. There’s a little nub on the end of the strap that fits into that little band that keeps the tail end of the strap from flapping around while you’re wearing it. (It’s a little hard to explain). That little nub makes it a little harder to put the watch on and take it off.
