Yesterday we went for a wander in the snow and came across two “Christmas fairs” selling mulled cider and knitted hot-water-bottle covers and moustache-shaped brooches and this postcard. It’s called “Menagerie Pattern”.

- Welfare Animal Society of Kastoria; I found this website very moving, there’s a slew of anecdotes about horrible incidents of animal cruelty recounted in the sort of English you get on Vietnamese bootleg DVDS. I giggled inappropriately several times.
