The game was a turned based game where the goal was simply to shoot the other tanks before they shoot you.

Now the new version has arrived! UMAG 2 is the sequel of UMAG of course but so much better.

In UMAG you play against other players all over the world. You can also set up private games for your friends or just against the computer. But you can also join clans and become a part of the community  that this game brings.

WordPress is the most used software for bloggers around the world and with this new update WordPress shows the world that they are really serious with their software. Yes, the update is great!

This are the new features:

File Type Detection

We’ve streamlined things! Instead of needing to click on a specific upload icon based on your file type, now there’s just one. Once your file is uploaded, the appropriate fields will be displayed for entering information based on the file type.

Drag-and-Drop Media Uploader

Adding photos or other files to posts and pages just got easier. Drag files from your desktop and drop them into the uploader. Add one file at a time, or many at once.

More File Formats

We’ve added the rar and 7z file formats to the list of allowed file types in the uploader.

The first thing you will notice is the new menu on the left side. The menu structure is new. The sub-menus now appear when you hoover the menu item. It takes 3 minutes to be familiar with it but then it is really good. It makes navigation more smooth.

The new dragn’drop file uploader is good. It works as it should and the crunching tool seems a little faster. Thats probably just because I am a little exited about this update.

The Radio function in Spotify is now an app. This is the only app that you have seen before. Other apps are Last.fm app which help you discover new music. This is something I have really missed.

I guess that within a week we will see a lot of new apps in Spotify.

Is the Beta version safe? Well… lets just say that Spotify has been Beta since the beginning and I have never seen a snatch of a bug. Go ahead and get Spotify Beta with Apps now.

Uncharted Skies is a turn by turn based multiplayer game where you can choose from different types of airplanes with different abilities. Some are ice planes and some fire planes. Some are fast and some are slow (but heavy).

The really fun part is that you have to fight other persons and not computers. Meaning that there is no random function that will send the plane here and there, but real people that you are dog fighting.

Windows XP – The Most User-friendly System Ever

Windows XP, which was preceded by Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium Edition (honestly, both predecessors were pretty poor), was first released in 2001 – that is actually more than ten years ago! The first major update was released soon after (2002) and fixed the most important issues – for example, it added support for USB 2.0.

The second service pack, which was released in 2004, was another big step forward. The new Windows Security Center greatly improved the security of the system, while many users also welcomed the enhanced support for Wi-Fi. The third (and final) service pack arrived in 2008 and made Windows XP compatible with many modern standards.

But why is Windows XP so important?

Well, the answer to that is pretty easy. Windows XP was the first operating system that unified the entire world. The statistics speak for themselves – in 2007, Windows XP had more than 76% of the entire internet market. That is a staggering number and it is possible that its share of the entire market was even bigger. Not only did that bring an incredible amount of money to Microsoft, but it also meant that developers did not need to adjust their products to various systems. That certainly saved them a lot of time and money. And with so many products available for Windows XP, nobody really needed any other OS. In turn, this development strengthened Microsoft’s growth even more.

Furthermore, Windows XP is one of the most user-friendly systems ever. The graphics might seem outdated in 2011, but everything seems to be unbelievably compact and nothing interferes with the overall functionality. We all know that the new systems (Windows Vista and Windows 7) can be pretty annoying at times with those frequent pop-ups and unnecessary visual effects. With Windows XP, you can simply focus on your work.

Finally, the system usually did not care about your hardware too much. In fact, Microsoft claims that you need just a 233 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM in order to run Windows XP. And the recommendations are not much tougher – 300 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM. No special graphic card is need – just compare that to the requirements of Windows Vista and Windows 7. As a result, you can run XPs even on the most obsolete laptops and, unlike many other systems, it will actually work fine.

All in all, Windows XP is definitely not the operating system of the future. However, it is an important piece of history that will stay with us forever. And, as is the case with many old games and movies, we are sure that there will be a group of loyal fans that will provide unofficial support for the product – even beyond 2014 (Microsoft should stop its official support in that year.)
