Police Search for Missing White Oak Teenager

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing White Oak juvenile.

Kendred Jones, age 17, was last seen at his residence in the 600 block of Apple Grove Road, in the White Oak area of Silver Spring on April 10, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Kendred is described as a black male, 6’ tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair. He has a tattoo on his chest that reads, “Fear GOD.”

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing black shiny pants, orange and brown shoes, and a dark top. He left his residence driving a silver over gray, 2004 Honda Element SUV with Maryland tags 7BBY55. He had a black BB rifle with him.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare and safety as he has had no contact with family since he left.

Missing Briggs Chaney Man

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public in locating a 46-year-old man missing from the Briggs Chaney area.

Lucot Jean, of the 3300 block of Teagarden Circle, was last seen leaving an apartment building in the 13900 block of Castle Boulevard at approximately 8:50 a.m. on March 18. Since then, Jean has not returned to his residence.

Jean is described as a black male, 5’1” tall, and weighing 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Jean also has white pigmentation around his mouth and several spots on his face. He was last seen wearing a gray pullover sweatshirt, black pants, and a black baseball cap. Jean does not drive, but he does have access to and is familiar with the Metro bus system.

Jean’s family and police are concerned for his physical and mental well-being as he is diagnosed with Down’s syndrome and functions at the level of an 8-year-old.

Abdul Soofi, age 46, has been missing from the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown since February 24th at 8:00 a.m. when he left home to go to an appointment in Upper Marlboro. He has had no contact with family members and his cell phone has been turned off. He is a Pakistani male, 5’ 05” tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He has gray hair, wears glasses and has a mole on his right cheek near his mouth. It is believed he is operating a blue 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan with South Carolina license plates; GF2913. He is a South Carolina native who visits Montgomery County on a regular basis. He never made it to his appointment and has not returned to his Germantown address or his South Carolina address.
