Yep! It's an update!

Lots of stuff and not much has happened since my last update, mostly since it was forever ago (not forever, but I'm too lazy to look at the date on my last post even though it's in another tab)

So, I got banned from Spiral Knights for apparently exploiting. Oh well, I have lots of other games, but I did just make 90,000 credits by selling a rare item (that's like 200 bucks or something fyi) so it's a little upsetting.

I've been studying for my A+ certification and hopefully I'll be able to take that soon (and pass)

I've learned config and I'm working on a new project that will be pretty big.

I GOT A SECOND JOB! WOOOO! Now I can maybe pay next month's rent!

I now work at a movie theater, and since they are legally considered "entertainment" they don't do overtime; thus, AS MANY HOURS AS I WANT!

I know, it's sad. I can't spend 3+ days out of the week without leaving my bed/chair (in which I only am not in them while I am transitioning from one to the other) and that's sad (in which way? probably the disgusted sad)

I get free movies IN A REAL THEATER and popcorn! Oh how I hate you popcorn, but I shall eat you because you are free! With my new job I can buy a new toothbrush for my kernel teeth, so HAHA POPCORN!

Other things include working out, losing weight, gaining weight, got a hat, disc golf, swimming, Epic Meal Time, Freddyw, Minecraft, TF2, League of Legends, Rooster Teeth, manga, webcomics, dubstep, twitter, Shirt Woot, and E3. Of which I will share only the following:

Disc Golf makes my arm hurt.

Fireplaces don't belong in wood houses.

League of Legends is trying to make us not play it (stupid new champs)

The Melon Pit is closing due to lack of interest and donations. COME FOR CUSTOM MAP NIGHT FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH! This is the last month you'll get to have it!

Spiral Knights

So the time is almost here! Three Rings is releasing a new game, Spiral Knights!

I've been playing it during this last week while they had their pre-launch release party. I didn't get as far as I wanted to, but I did finally get my top tier sword! And now it's all going to be deleted right before the launch!

I played this game a while back in early early alpha, but I never got invited back T~T so I wasn't too happy about that, but I'll forgive them.

Three Rings (from here called OOO) is big into micro-transactions, and this game isn't changing that. You get a daily supply of "Mist Energy" that refills over time and maxes at 100. You need to use this energy to do almost anything in the game, and once you're out, you have to wait for more. If you would like more energy though, you can always buy it! "Crystal Energy" is extra energy that you can buy, trade, sell, and use to play the game. I'm not a fan of limiting how much I can play a day, nor am I a fan of micro-transactions, but the game was fun and they were throwing in 25% more crystal energy if you bought it now, so I bought some since I like OOO.

So in conclusion, if you are bored or want to try a new free game, Spiral Knights is pretty good!

Playing TF2 a bit still. Custom map night every Tuesday on the Melon Pit hosted by me! IP: 69.147.225.41:27015

Got into League of Legends a bit. It's fun, I started to play with friends and now they don't play with me! I don't know what this genre of gaming is called, nor have I played any other games like it to compare, but I would say there's probably games a lot better (some say DOTA and HON but idunnolol)

Holidays

Sucked. Family and stuff was ok, but I had a few car problems. I am finally road legal, but I have a court date for not having my inspection done yet and apparently... I had the wrong licence plates? I have no clue how that happened... Maybe someone stole my plates and put others on my car? Maybe I had these plates the whole time, but the state changed them on me without letting me know! All I know is that I need to go to court before the 21st... yay...

Work

New year, new semester, lots of work! I've been out for a bit during the holidays. We were open the week of and after Christmas to prepare for the upcoming rush, but I took off for holiday stuffs, so now stuff can get done since I'm back!

I'm thinking of maybe trying to get a job with UPS. I hear good stuff about them and working a lot of hours doing hard work and making more than minimum wage sounds really good to me! My uncle has been working there for a bunch of years, so I'll have to talk to him since I cant seem to ever catch our UPS guy at work. Who knows, it could end up being fun!

Politics

HAHAHAHAHA! I COULD have gotten a second job, found a better job with insurance, went back to school and became classified as a student, or various other things that would probably better my life, but instead I just did what I normally do, maybe even LESS than that. "Well Conrad, we're proud of you, and what have you accomplished by that?"

OH I'LL TELL YOU WHAT

YOU are now paying for my FREE HEALTH INSURANCE! BWAHAHAHAHA! Don't you love Obama? I know I don't, but guess what! He's making you pay for my health insurance anyway! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I'mma go get this thing on my head checked out, get my teeth did, maybe see a chiropractor, and maybe even get some shots for fun! (Shots are NOT fun :< )

So that's cool and all. Thank you for your tax dollars.

I haven't updated in a while but nothing has really happened... maybe stuff has even UN-happened since my last update... Maybe that's why I get free health insurance! Ok ok, i'm done! Time to sleep! 2am isn't a bad time!

WOO!

Big Halloween this year. Hope you are all having fun with parties and stuff, because I'm going to be busy with Minecraft and TF2! WEWT!

I miss being able to go trick or treating... Free candy should be for everyone, not just kids! Who says I'm not a kid anyway? I could dress up and stuff... I mean, I've got money and shit now, I don't have to wear a bedsheet any more! It's not fair! NOT FAAAAAAAIR!

*Ahem*Back to the video games...

TF2 Launches it's second annual Halloween Event entitled, Scream Fortress, which brings back all of last years achievements and items and adds 9 new classless, Halloween restricted paper bag hats along with a non-restricted Saxton Hale paper bag! The update also introduced a new NPC, the Horseless Headless Horsemann, which I hope to see abused in the near future.

On the Minecraft side of things, as anyone who plays well knows, THE HALLOWEEN UPDATE WENT LIVE YESTERDAY! The "Nether" is now real and with it comes 3 new blocks, fishing, and portals! The updates on the SMP side of the game were sadly lacking combat, but a few improvements were made! Redstone, Doors, and Stairs all work now! No more skipping redstone blocks because they are useless! Thanks to all of the people over at hey0 who updated their plugins in such a timely manner. You guys rock!

OK, so I haven't posted in a while. No excuse really cept my life is boring as hell.
Some stuff has happened:

1. Minecraft

2. TF2
POLYCOUNT UPDATE! I know lots of people are pissed about the paying and the shop, but it's not a big deal. Chill out. All of the sets are pretty meh besides the scout. The scout was the winner of this update. The best items weren't even mentioned though! The Gloves of Running Urgently, GRU, are awesome, as is the Rocket Jumper! Rockets do no damage, but your taunt doesn't either! Still a 1 hit kill on the enemy though! So much fun! Also trading, YEAH!

3. Apparently a pipe broke or something...
So now I can't use my bathroom and the carpets got a bit wet and my Bro-in-law's brand new PS3 got a little wet, but hopefully those are the worst part of it... hopefully...

4. Conrad500.com
Yeah, bought a domain. My friend that I stole from Amanda, John, is giving me space on his host for my site! I have no clue what to do. Please help :c

5. Work
I am getting no hours and will run out of money. Give me some please. Or a job. I'll take either :D

I shaved my head. It is very white. I also found two patches of dry skin that have been making my life hell for.... my whole life, or a good portion of it. I will have to treat them somehow now that I don't have a shitton of hair on top of my head.

I have no idea how to care for a bald head, so hopefully it won't be so bad.

Work has been slacking up a little. I haven't felt like doing anything or posting anything since it has taken up the majority of my life for the past couple of weeks.

I hope I actually make myself go get my car taken care of tomorrow and the other stuff I needed to do.

In gaming news my TF2 server, the Melon Rind, is up and running! It gets fairly busy at peak times but it still dies often. Hopefully I can get more regulars and we can have twice as much interest in the uberMelons! We need it...

Our comp team got rolled pretty hard, but it was fun and the other team were good sports about it. I hope we can get some more practice and scrims in while work returns to being boring and actually letting me have free time.

That's about it for now. Work has been taking up too much of my time. BUT! I was able to set up a stats site for the two UM servers: http://ubermelons.hlxce.net/hlstats.php some nub keeps trying to take first rank from me... I must PLAY MORE! AWAY!

So the weeks keep coming but the the weekends don't seem to help me recover all that much... I should probably sleep more...

Monday starts the first week of school... Hopefully I'll be too busy helping customers to have to deal with all the crap like new employees, professors, PARENTS, shelftags, etc...

IN OTHER NEWS!
I have my own TF2 Server! The Melon Rind will be used as my clan's secondary server for public use, competitive lock down, and other wacky events like map testing! Please add it to your favorites and become a regular! I am looking for more suggestions on how to make it work better. I've been installing Source Mod with plugins like afk management, team stacking controls, user demanded votes, and hopefully statistics!

It hasn't been the best way to relax as it is a LOT of hard work. Hopefully once I finish everything maintaining it will be stress free.

It is also the unofficial Whirled server for TF2, so hopefully some people will come for whirled game dates.

Please pray for me and wish me luck... and hope to see you on TF2 the nights I'm not working until I have to sleep!

I went tubing while in Louisiana this weekend. I got a nice tan and I didn't get burned. I did get caught by a tree that scraped my leg really bad. It didn't break the skin, but that AND the sun exposure makes for a cooked shin... It hurts a lot...

Had fun hanging out with the family. It was sad having to leave them all again, but I'll be back again some day. Maybe my girlfriend will stop being a deadbeat and take a trip with me! <3

Also, Alien Swarm came out today! It is a free game developed by steam. I don't know how they can offer it for free, so I would get it before they change their mind. If you get an achievement on it you can also get a hat on TF2! A FREE HAT! Needless to day I already have it. It is very fun.

So I finally got around all the limitations of my capture card for a pretty reasonable price and a great result!

I am back to streaming at my Livestream channel, but I don't know if I should switch to Justin.tv since it doesn't have all the ads that Livestream does...

As always, I am open to game suggestions/donations! Please let me know and tell your friends! It is lonely streaming to nobody....

I'll have to post an updated game list sometime soon.

I'm poor. I only have a few more months of money to survive... Guess my loans ain't gonna pay themselves, and neither am I!

Also money as I will need a place to live to stream.

I wonder how long it takes for me to get sick of eating sammiches every day for every meal. Of course, I will still get my $1 chicken at Popeye's every Tuesday!

Hopefully it isn't as bad as I think, but if I don't get a promotion or raise I will totally need to get another job to supplement my income...

It's fucking hot!

Stupid cellphone broke.

I have a slider phone with a qwerty keyboard thingy. Apparently what makes it slide is two big springs with no shock protection... great quality...

I went in and showed the lady a phone snapped in half, and she expedited the replacement to next day shipping, so I guess they can at least clean up their messes.

Rant time:
WTF ever happened to, I dunno, cell phones? I know that technology is changing and becoming more advanced, but does that mean that we should get rid of everything else?

If I want a phone that can surf the web, make calls, use a keyboard, signal aliens, etc. then sure, I'll pay out the butt because it's the biggest thing out there and is worth all the money spent, even though I know a better model will come out shortly.

But what if I want to call people. Call people and maybe text too. Why do I need to buy the cheapest phone for $60 if I'm not signing up for a plan, and have it have all kinds of shit I don't need or want, and it's a piece of shit!

I want a phone that I can keep in my pocket without fear of breaking it. A flip phone or a one piece phone would be great. I know that they can make a one piece phone with MicroSD card support and a music player, but can I get that? Nooooo

Why do I need a touch screen? When have buttons failed us? Why replace buttons that we can easily fix if they break, for a screen which SOMEHOW costs more than the phone and breaks if you touch it too hard!

Those old people phones like the Jitterbug seem like a better choice than some phone that's purposely made to break and costs $100!

I think my memory is bad or something because I can't even install the OS and I've reformatted my HD... So my computer is in limbo as of now...

On a related note, I love Amanda! I was having the worst headache today... I thought it was from the nonstop sitting/game playing-athon that I usually have on my Saturdays off, but I hadn't even played half as much as I usually do! (I should REALLY go work out or something on Saturdays)

I noted that I did have my window open all day, and the pollen here so thick (You can see it on the ground it's so much) she suggested it was my sinuses. She told me to press on my temples to relieve the pressure AND IT FUCKING WORKED!

I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!

So, what else is there....

Ooh, Pokemon!

So I've got 66 hours apparently. I'm getting kind of bored of it now though... I never did have the patience to ever level any of my Pokemon to level 100 EVER, and I doubt I will this time either.

L4D is still a great game. I just played a good bit today, got a few 25 point pounces (because I am PRO) and punched some bitches off of roofs as tank. The level design of No Mercy is unrivaled! I can play that campaign forever, and probably will.

Nothing against L4D2, but L4D is just better! All of the new classes and the new levels don't compare to the originals. I do love using the spitter and the charger can be pretty beast, but you still can't compare to smoking someone out of the elevator or getting a 25 point pounce!

And now for TF2:

Fuck you duplicate hats!

I can't wait until trading is implemented. I seem to get every hat I don't really care about... I got the Soldier's Kabuto, which is VERY cool, but Soldier is one of my 2 least played classes! I guess I can't complain too much since all I do is idle... but still... I want a spy hat...

So Amanda wasn't able to come down for spring break this year, but I had already taken off of work! There was only one thing I could do! So I got a ticket and flew up to be with her!

First off, OMG THERE IS SNOW!

Secondly, OMG THE SNOW DIDN'T MELT FOR LIKE, STILL AND IT IS SUNNY!!!!!!

Thirdish: We got really good pizza and wings! Last time they were all bleh, but this time imma explode cus I'm eating way too much of it.

So yeah...

Tim Horton's is way too good btw, and we are trying to do other things too, but she is soooo lazy.

We're planning to go meet with Odditor from whirled and have a foursome with him and his wife (don't tell her that)

We went to go see Alice in Wonderland and we might have to go see it again with them, but it wasn't that great of a movie... I didn't like it too much at least.

So I preordered Pokemon from Game Stop back in Houston because SOMEBODY told me they were going to be down HERE for spring break, and now I had to preorder it AGAIN up here so that I can get my super awesome collectible figurine!

HEY! I preordered it with my girlfriend, don't judge me...

Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy the rest of the time I'm here and maybe I'll make a snowman if I get to it before all the snow melts! THERE'S FREAKING SNOW! LIKE REAL SNOW AND NOT TEXAS/LOUISIANA SNOW!!!!!111ONEoneonetwoone

So i got everything in from the mail!

I was able to update my RAM, so now I can run more things!

Also got my eBay games in!

I accidentally bought Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door twice :(

I started streaming and it all ran smoothly! I kinda bored everyone by playing Power Rangers but it was a good test run all in all.

Apparently I am unique...

Can I sue hat companies that make their hat sizes "One Size Fits All" since they do NOT fit me...

I'm pretty sure if the top of my head was flat and as big as a table, these hats wouldn't have fit me any less. I even tried on the "L-XL" sizes and they could be forced over my head, only to have my hair completely remove them.

So, I got some games that I bought off of eBay in today. I bought two of the same Gamecube games apparently... So if anyone out there wants a copy of Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, let me know and I'll give it to you for double what I paid for it! I'll even sign it and sleep with it the night before I ship it off! Ladies, this is a great Valentine's day gift for your guys! It just screams, "You're almost as cool as Conrad, so here is something of his so I can hopefully believe the lie I just uttered!"

So The Saints won the Super Bowl... awesome. It is such a great victory for everyone who lives in Louisiana (and those who lived or even visited for that matter cus LA rox) and it was long overdue. Nothing else needs to be said!

So onto other news, I wanna find a hat... I don't know what kind, but I do know that I don't like baseball/trucker hats and I probably don't want a cowboy hat... (or would rather die)

I don't know any places where I can try on hats to see what size/style I would like to get, and real hats seem pretty expensive from real hat stores. Maybe I'll find something I like and Ebay it.

So I just bought a bunch of SNES and NES games recently. They haven't arrived yet but I'm super psyched. I'm pretty sure I'mma play the hell out of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and stream it to share the joy with everyone!

I'll probably start streaming again after I get more RAM. 2 Gigs just isn't cutting it anymore. I didn't realize that that was the reason my computer was so slow even though I have pretty good specs.
