In his Easter Sunday address earlier this year, Pope Francis decried the murder and displacement of Middle Eastern Christians. Bishop Antoine Charbel-Tarabay, of the Maronite Catholic Church, explains that the Coptic, Iraqi and Lebanese Christian victims of the Islamic State, form just one section in a vast web of complicated regional politics. He shows how Christians have been trapped in the middle of this conflict, and what we can do to help. An eye opening episode of Conversations with Daniel Nour.

The Extraordinary Synod on the Family that recently took place in Rome garnered much attention the world over: would the Church finally get with the program and change its teachings on gay marriage, divorce and contraception?
In this first of two parts on the Extraordinary Synod on the Family, Daniel Nour and Andrew Milne discuss why it was needed, what it was out to achieve, and what we can expect from it.

Could we be doing more to reach out to young same-sex attracted people?

What does it mean to ‘love the sinner but hate the sin’? Are we succeeding in this regard?

Why should our beliefs, as Catholics, impact on anyone else?

In this edition of Conversations with Catholic Voices, Daniel puts Catholic Voices Australia’s Paul Sheehan in the hot seat again, seeking honest answers to tough questions.

Are Catholic priests the major perpetrators of this heinous crime? Has the Church done enough to address this scandal?
Daniel Nour asks the tough questions and Catholic Voices Australia speaker Paul Sheehan gives the straight answers on Conversations with Catholic Voices.
