Clam AV is an open source antivirus software. You can get it's source code for free. Also it is a good virus removal tool for windows,mac and linux. It includes a big virus database which anyone can use for their own purpose. The database file is compressed and have a file extension .cvd. So if you want to extract the content of this database file then signtool will help you to do that.

First download ClamWin from www.clamwin.com after that install it into your PC. You will find the database file on internet just search on google for ClamWin database and download it. Now you will find SignTool on the installation folder for ClamWin. Now bring the database file there and use your command prompt and use signtool for extracting content from that db file.

Suppose you need to list all of your mp3 files from a folder and its all subfolders. Then this php script will help you.

Technique

This function starts with a directory.
And check for all the files and folder in it.
If a folder found then this function call itself recursively.
If its a file and its extension is .mp3 then print it.

How an antivirus detect a virus.

We all know that antivirus softwares detect viruses from our pc and stop them to perform malicious task. Now most of us actually don't know how an antivirus detect a virus.

Some basic detection techniques are signature scan and hash scan.

In signature scan the antivirus softwares already have a long list of detected viruses with their signature and antivirus softwares search for those signatures into a file and if the file contain that signature the antivirus software treat that file as virus.

So what is a signature?

Each file contains binary data into it. Suppose a text file has the sentence "hello world" now how to create its signature ? Just convert each byte of this file into its corresponding hexadecimal value and join all hexadecimal value one after another serialy. The resultant string is the signature of that file.

Now if a file has the word "hello" and this file is a virus then we can easily detect it by creating its signature and search it into other infected files. If a file contain the word "hello", has the virus signature into it. So search each file and if any virus signature math found into this file we can easily say the this file contains a virus.

Another method for virus detection is hash scanning. A hash code of a file is a unique string made by hash algorithms. If we change the file name of a file the hash code will remain unchanged. It will change only if we change the data of that file. Some popular hash algorithms are SHA , md5 etc. In this detection technique the antivirus softwares already have a long list of previously known virus hashes. Now when scan a file for virus the file hash code is first created and this hash code is matched with other virus hashes. If any virus hash match this file hash then the file is a virus.

These are the most basic and easy virus detection techniques. But todays antivirus systems also perform some critical detection techniques.

To edit mp3 files tags we need UltraID3Lib.dll.

So first download it from here

UltraID3Lib.DLL

Now we have to do this following steps.

Open Visual Studio IDE
Create a new windows application
From Project —> Add Reference –> Browse –> Select the UltraID3Lib.DLL

After adding reference we can use this DLL.

Now the coding part…

First we need to import it.

Create a new UltraID3 object.

Now we need a mp3 file for reading. The reading function tag1.Read() will does this work.

Today I'm going to show you how to create a free website. So first we list out our requirements.

We need a free domain
We need a free hosting account
Filezilla FTP Client (For file transfer)

Step : 1

Their are two different types of domain 1 is Top-Level Domain(.com, .net, .org, .in, etc.) and other is sub-domain(xx.com, yy.net, zz.org, etc.). Top-Level Domains are not free but we can register a free sub domain instead. So register it from http://co.cc

Step 2:

After registering it we need a free hosting account. Their are many free hosting available online. Some good free hosting providers list.
