Relocating to a new place although tends to make us happy but it has its own set of troubles. It sometimes doesn’t seem to be an attractive option for most of us.  Relocating involves packing, arranging transportation apart from the security of goods and the men power need. It can really be frustrating. The panic and worry of tedious and hectic shifting had been daunting me for a long time. It was almost impossible for me to do my shifting all by myself and I had little time for that. That really scared me. It had been almost one year since I had been working as a computer engineer in an IT firm in Bangalore but I had made only a few friends due to hectic work schedule. I didn’t have any helping hand and looking at the huge stuffs I had amassed during my stay in the city shifting was not really going to be easy for me. The thought that I will have to leave some of them as it will not be favorable to carry them back at my new place really scared me. I was totally in a mess.

One day as I had been discussing with one of my colleague on my relocation issue he suggested me to hire the service of a relocation agency or movers and packers services.  Honestly, I really had no idea who they were, so I did some Google search on the list of movers and packers in the city. What I found was really a great relief. Getting someone to do your relocation work “That’s really great”. A relocation agency is a group of people who helps you in your relocation process.

Although I was relived to a certain extent but the safety and security of my belongings was my utmost concern. So I rang up one of the relocation agencies. I was pretty much impressed by their response and their assurances on safety of my goods. The best part of the deal was their guarantee on delivery of my goods safely to my new destination together with an additional insurance that if any of my goods were damaged during the relocation process.

So I hired that relocation agency. I wondered if they would need any help during the packing of my goods and valuables so I stayed with them should they need any helping hand.  But I just had to sit and relax. It was really a delight to watch those men doing their work with professional efficiency. They seem to know their work perfectly and packed all mu stuffs in an organized manner.  My overall relocation went smoothly.

Last Sunday was mother’s day and I thought about writing a post with some facts about mothers and motherhood. Like Leonardo DiCaprio said, mothers are indeed a walking miracle on everyone’s lives. So here are some of the coolest and most interesting facts about mothers!

• Did you know in most of the languages, the word for “mother” starts with “m” and has a strong association with the word “ma”.
• Your mom will have changed almost 7,300 diapers, before you’re 2 years old.
• Did you know when you were a kid/preschooler you needed her attention almost 210 times a day?, ie almost once in every 4 minutes.
• Mother’s day became a national holiday on May 9, 1914. It was made a national holiday in US by the USA President at that time, Woodrow Wilson.

• In some cases vaginal tearing may happen during the childbirth. According to Babycenter it happens to 9 out of 10 mothers.
• While the pregnancy time, women will have 50% extra blood in their body and their sense of smell gets a lot better.
• Did you know the uterus will expand up to around 500 times its normal size when the baby is due?
• You know mother’s heart is filled with love, but did you know when a woman is pregnant literally her heart grows? Well, this is not because of love, it’s because of the extra work it has to undertake. It has to pump almost 50% of extra blood during the pregnancy time!
• We all know women in pregnancy eat a lot. Well, she might be eating a lot, but the nutrients from all that food is going to the baby first before it passes over to her.

Last week I asked our facebook page – coolfacts fans to suggest me a topic. I didn’t knew I was about to get a series of topic ideas. Cool Facts About Pigs

After a long time I thought about writing about an animal. As you might already know, I have written a lot of facts about animals already, but somehow I missed to write about Pigs. So here are those cool facts about pigs which I found out recently:

• Pigs enjoy massaging like humans do!
• Pigs like to listen to music.
• Pigs communicate to other pigs all the time using special vocalizations. Almost 20 vocalizations have been identified so far by humans. They can woo mates to say, “I’m hungry”.
• Unlike many other animals Pigs have good sense of direction. Some Pigs are said to be come back to their home from over great distances.
• Pigs can play joystick-controlled video games. No kidding, this was found by Professor Stanley Curtis of Penn State University.
• Unlike the popular belief, pigs are not dirty animals. Pigs can’t sweat, so they will have to cool their body by covering them with water or mud. Often you see them covered in mud, but in fact they prefer water to mud and if enough water is given, they will never be cover themselves with mud.

• Pigs can swim, in fact they’re fantastic swimmers.

Funny Divorce Stories

Divorces are often sad, and it might make others feel sorry too. But some stories are so funny that, instead of feeling sorry, you might feel better and end up saying, “this made my day”! Here are some divorce stories and its aftermath. Keep in mind, all these really happened and were reported by at least one new paper.

I want my Kidney back:
People often ask their ex to return the gifts they interchanged when they were in good relationship. Its not common but still it happens a lot. But it will not be easy to give it back in all the cases. See here one Surgeon from Long Island gave his Kidney to his wife when they were in the bonds of marriage. But soon after their divorce, he asked it back. Would you consider doing it, if you were in the same situation? I can say I will NOT!

Now some people would like to spit everything into half after their divorce from a really long marriage. It does makes sense doesn’t it? In laws are often a pain in the a** right? Well this bride too thought the same. The Groom was so fond of his mother that he invited her to go with them to the newly-weds honeymoon. This ended up in their divorce!

My pet bird asked me to divorce you, So I am divorcing you!
This is a pretty strange story. One pet bird this couple was having, started to say stuffs like, “be patient”, “divorce” etc. Now the women went ahead and divorced him because she thought he was cheating on her and the bird was expressing this! Seriously wtf?

Mine is not long enough:
This is one of the weirdest reasons for a divorce I have ever heard of! This guy was kind of crazy enough to extend his penis after his marriage, that too without his wife supporting this idea. His wife filed for divorce after this prosthetic penis extension snapped off during their sexual intercourse!
