This special helicopter design was made from an old radio antenna, a gear, buttons, some wire and surprisingly, the insides broken multi-socket plug. The design gives it a steam punk and a minor futuristic look. This helicopter design came spontaneously when the designer was looking around a room of junk. It’s first design was meant to be a leaf blower but fortunately this aircraft came through.

Steve is a little robot thing that I made from cans. I made it for my recycling project. Thats a picture of it there. I made holes in the can in order to do this. Then I use string to connect the cans.

Its sort of promoting 100 plus and Fanta too! Its not difficult to make. All you need are string, cans and tape! Oh ya, hammer and something you can hammer down to make a hole with too. Only make a hole on one side of the can and keep the string in with a knot.

For the legs, connect two cans a hoop it through another can you want to use as the torso. If you did it correctly, one end would follow its hip to the side of its chest then reaching the top. Then it would follow down to the other end. Tape the string to its hips. For the head, connect a string to one can and loop the other end of that string to the string of the legs on the top of the can. Tie a knot and tape it down. To make the hands just connect two more cans and tape them to the neck.

Tooth-Rot is made out of sugar and salt. Its like toothpaste but it rots your teeth. First get a bowl and put 10 teaspoons of salt and 15 teaspoons of sugar. Then add a bit of water (when I say a bit I mean really little). Then mix it until it becomes paste and put it in an empty toothpaste container. There! your ready to prank your friends (that was a joke don’t do it it’ll rot their teeth and I don’t think they’ll accept toothpaste as a gift).

The Wirebot is a robot-like structure I made out of some wire, tape, string and a broken pen. I shape the body, legs and hand with wire. I connected the broken pen to one of the hands. You can actually write with this thing! I stuck strings together with tape to make the wings. I cut out some of the tube from the broken pen and tape it to make the eyes and head. I use wire to connect everything together. I made a loop so the legs can balance. Try to make one yourself by using these instructions:

What you will need:

1. wire

2. tape(black)

3. A broken pen

4. string

Instructions:

1. (torso) Make a loop with the wire then coil around that wire with another one. That would be the body. Make sure both end of the loop is still visible.

2. (legs) Thread a long wire through the loop. Pull the wire down so it looks like thin legs. Coil another and at the end of it loop it so it can balance.

3. (hands) Thread a wire through the torso coil and fold the ends together. At the end of the end of it you can use strips of wire to design your wirebot’s hand. Do the same for the other hand but instead, use you broken pen (with ink but before you do this read instruction number 5 ) . Use tape to connect it.

4. (wings) Use strings and line them up onto a piece of tape and sandwich another piece onto it to make one wing. Make another one. Again, thread a wire and connect both wings with tape. Secure the loop with another wire or some tape to make sur the wings are positioned properly.

5. (head) Cut out some of the broken pen tube that keeps the ink. Loop some tape around that tube and at the end of that loop, connect a short wire to it. At the opposing end of the loop that held the legs, link the short wire to that and your done.

I was supposed to use kitchen appliances to invent a toy. Theres a goal at the opposing side of the launching part (the aluminium tray).  This toy that I made is like a catapult that flings the ‘Octopuck’ into the goal. Thats why I called it a Cata-Flinger. Sorry, I don’t have any pictures of the Octopuck. I’m gonna upload how to make this thing but i won’t be very soon though.
