Through membership donations of FDC officers, staff, and contractors, the Corrections Foundation is able to take care of all FDC employees. While we offer financial assistance for non-members, those who join and qualify for financial assistance benefit in a greater amount.

For over 10 weeks, I was out of work, dealing with some of the worst pain in my life. Being out that long put my family in financial straits. One day my boss dropped by and gave me a very generous check from the Foundation. I realized that I was a member of a FAMILY!

I have been a member for years and have never needed the assistance. (Thank God) However, 2 weeks ago my daughter who also works for the department and is a member had her baby 10 weeks early. She lives over 60 miles from the hospital and makes the trip everyday to see her baby. She will be out of work for a little while and received a check from the foundation for $1500. She is extremely grateful for this much needed blessing! As her mom, I just want to say Thank You for the assistance you provided to my baby girl! The Pups N PALS PROGRAM in Daytona Beach is fantastic. Save pups and rehabilates people. Thank you to this foundation for allowing a program like this happen and having it grow to be a recognized program in the community. The Veterans and the regular ADOPTERS have all been extremely grateful. The Office Irwin really does a great job.
