Vibration Control: Three new CORTECO catalogues

CORTECO, the specialists for the independent aftermarket, have published three completely revised parts catalogues for:

Engine and Transmission mounts; Crankshaft Pulleys; Steering, Suspension, Chassis parts, Power Train as well as Hydraulic Accumulators.

750 Engine and Transmission mounts for more than 535 vehicle models

The new CORTECO catalogue now comprises around 750 products for 535 vehicle models. It also lists Carburettor and Intermediate Flange, Alternator and Radiator mounts as well as gear bushings. This has added over 200 new references including Dacia, Jeep, Vauxhall and Mazda. Graphic displays of the installation location of each reference make identification simple and fast.

200 Crankshaft Pulleys for 459 vehicle models

Crankshaft Pulleys should be checked approximately every 90.000 km and should be replaced, if necessary, together with the belt. With its new Crankshaft Pulley catalogue CORTECO now takes its range past 200 references. Independent workshops and distributors can be confident that CORTECO Crankshaft Pulleys have the same decoupling and/or damping characteristics as the original, therefore providing the same protection.

More than 500 spare parts for Chassis, Power Train and Hydraulic Accumulators

The third one of the new CORTECO catalogues comprises more than 500 references for Chassis, Power Train and Hydraulic Accumulators for over 400 vehicle models. A new addition is Hydraulic Accumulators used for suspension and for level adjustment, they are also used in transmissions to support gear changes as well as in electro-hydraulic brakes. Again a simple graphic makes part identification easy.

The three new CORTECO catalogues contains pictures of every component and full cross reference to original equipment part numbers. These comprehensive and clearly laid out catalogues can also be accessed via the CORTECO website.

CAT Magazine Review of Equip Auto 2009

Jim Foster over at CAT magazine has reviewed the Equip Auto show for all of us who didn’t manage to attend. He has posted up two sections about Corteco and Denso which are very interesting.

Here’s a couple of excerpts about Corteco – “Out of everyone exhibiting, I spent the most time on the Corteco stand.” - “You can tell when a company is going places from the passion exuded by its employees, and that was definitely the case here.”

About Denso he said – “This is another company shaking the aftermarket up with significant investment and marketing budgets: next year will be a big one for them.”
