Well, one more page to go before we’re done with the story. I wrote a sort of breakdown at the tumblr you should check out. Frankly, I was very pleased with the story, and I introduced a number of awesome characters while giving Kracker a little more to do than he had in the past. So this is a moment I feel I have earned. With your permission? Okay-

Two pages to go before we’re all wrapped up! I am so glad I am at this point, because I really want to start getting into some of the other aspects of the universe. I am particularly happy to introduce Furghar, and of course continue on with Pryce. Both of them have become pretty well integrated with my plans, and Furghar will actually be the subject of a short story between this and the next episode.

Now, how about some of the other bits that have made up my blog posts lately?

First of all, Bandit’s Quest has been going strong, and I have an extra-special Dash-related surprise prepared for it.  Bandit’s Quest will be going down to a once a week update, unfortunately, but the quality will not diminish. Bandit’s Quest will update on Friday alongside Cosmic Dash. Remember to submit your commands for Bandit!

Secondly, I am currently engaged in college classes, but I will not let them mess with the Cosmic Dash update schedule. No worries there. I could use a little gas money, however. Because of this, I am doing a commission drive that nets you high-resolution art for about $20, which is about half a tank of gas for my car. If you are interested, be sure to check the relevant post at my tumblr account, which also has a lot of cool art samples.

For a long time I’ve wanted to have a choose-your-own adventure style comic, and the with popularity of Homestuck and Problem Sleuth I felt like the time was right to dive it. So I would like to introduce BANDIT’S QUEST.

As for Cosmic Dash news, we’re extremely close to the end of this storyline. I am expecting to have everything wrapped up by page 32. The next story was intended to be the Marken-focused “The Kitchen Knight”, but it will actually be a different story that gives us some back story on Dash. That of course happens after a few short comics and any guest comics I get to run between episodes.

So yes, if you are interested in doing a guest comic, you have about 5 weeks. Please feel free to send something my way.

This was a pretty tough page to put together. Ultimately, I don’t think this is any more graphic than a Frankenstein adaptation in any other media, but I can understand some people may be squeamish. I just tried to keep those two somewhat dark panels creepy, but not so much so that it would turn people away. This is supposed to be a shocking moment, and I think I made the right choice on how I communicated that. There is a lot going on this page. In the long run I think this will be a key sequence of events to understanding certain characters, or understanding just what the cult is up to.
