The second high-level meeting under the Interim Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) for Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) was successfully held in Mauritius on 14 and 15 May 2013. The EPA Committee met exactly one year after Madagascar, Mauritius, the Seychelles and Zimbabwe started implementing this agreement with the European Union. The partners reviewed trade, development and customs aspects of the agreement, and adopted a Joint Communique on all issues involved. The Broker would like to present its dossier on the post-2015 agenda. This year discussions on the follow-up to the Millennium Development Goals have taken place at many levels and in many forums globally. The Broker’s Post-2015 dossier describes the current processes that should lead to a new framework for global development after the deadline for the MDGs. 'Business as usual or system change' gives an analysis of the different approaches underlying the many proposals and reports competing for primacy in the global post-2015 arena. The dossier includes a mapping of the main actors participating in the post-2015 discussions as well as a table overview summarizing the main documents and reports on the post-2015 debate. 'Navigating the post-2015 debate' gives a handy overview of the articles in the dossier.
