The main thing is that you are sober. I lost a find son at the age of 32 from a drug overdose and I witnessed how hard it was for him. Please know that you are in my prayers and I just hope you can beat this terrible addiction and keep making wonderful music for people like me to enjoy. I will continue to pray for you always. My mother was lucky to be able to see him at a concert many years ago. Her birthday and George's are very close her is on the 15th of May she will be 85 years old. She has pictures and posters of George in her den and looks at them every day. My mother is an Elder and member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde we are Chinook, Umqua, and Rogue River Indian. My wish is that if at all possible we were hoping and praying that George if at all possible in your busy days if you could give my mother a call on her Birthday in the morning of the 15th around 10:00a.m. our standard pacific time. That would make her day when my son was 3 years old mo mother would drive the boys to the coast and listen to your music and she always called my son Mick her little George Strait. Perish memories for us to cherish. She is unable to crochet or do puzzles anymore her arthritis is very bad in her hands so she mainly watches t.v. It would be a wonderful memory for her to hear Georges voice please let him read this her phone number is 503-879-5690.
