They have announced another holiday rebate for $20 back when you spend $50 or more on the following brands: Olay, Secret, Venus, Cover Girl, Pantene, Herbal Essences and Clairol. I love that you can mix & match brands with this one, as I seem to be overstocked on Olay at the moment. Purchases must be made between today (11/23) and 12/31 and must be postmarked by 1/14/11. Santa is bringing Jackson a Tag reader pen and a library of books, but I am hoping to pick up a few more this week because Target is putting them on sale BOGO! There is also a great printable coupon for $5 off coupon that you can print to use with the deal! I'm not sure how Target's check-out will work with this one, as they are usually pretty funny about letting you use a coupon on a free item, but even a free book & a discounted book are better than full price if you need them for Christmas!

I was running around redeeming my $5 off $5 coupons from Hallmark yesterday (check your magazines! I had them in Redbook & Martha Stewart Living!) and came home today to read about a new $10 off $10 coupon available to mothers or expecting mothers. They have loads of cute stuff, so this is definitely worth another trip over for me next week!

My New Favorite Facial Care Products

I've been doing battle with my skin lately, and according to my dermatologist, I am to blame! I got such great deals on the new Aveeno Ageless Vitality & Neutrogena Clinical sets and was so excited to use them...until my face broke out like crazy! When I was in for my annual full body skin check I asked my doctor what in the world was going on with my skin??? I admitted to being a product junkie and after telling him what I was using he started to laugh and told me that I'm too young for these products! Wahoo! Apparently they load these products with oils that, ahem, older skin needs. He wasn't surprised to hear about my skin's reaction and advised me to look a little younger the next time I went out shopping for skin care items!

Fast forward to a few new deals that I have been able score, and my skin has never been better...too bad it took me 30 years to figure this all out! I received samples for two products and got a great deal on another thanks to (wait for it) Groupon! So what are my new products?

Garnier Moisture Rescue: It is so light, yet so refreshing! They sent me a sample to try and I was hooked! The scent is great and my skin hasn't experienced any dryness that this time of year normally brings for me. It is nice to not use a cream on my face for a change. Moisture Rescue is alot like a thin gel, and even over my topical dermatology medicine which does dry my skin out, my skin stays hydrated all day long.

Biore Unclogging Facial Scrub: I actually scored this one from a Groupon I purchased from Soap.com! I haven't used a Biore product in years (remember the blackhead strips? rrrrrip!) but I was looking for a new facial scrub and decided to give this one a try. I like this product because the scrubbing grains are big enough to use daily (unlike my fav Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion kit that I can only use once or twice a week!) without peeling a layer off my skin, but it still does a great job of keeping it smooth & polished. Another reason I love the larger scrubbing grains is that it is so much easier to ensure that they have all been washed off my face...nothing worse than cleaning to prevent breakouts, only to cause a breakout!

Olay/Cover Girl Simply Ageless Serum Primer: I received this product as a sample too and immediately loved it, but it is pricey! You can use this as your foundation (it is not tinted) or under your foundation to smooth out your skin for flawless make-up application. Surprisingly, the serum base does not make my face break out (Olay products never bother me, thank goodness, I guess I am old enough to use them!) and literally smoothes out any uneven spots on my face. I've also noticed much more make-up coming off at night when I wash my face (I use the Olay Regenerist cloths), so it is also helping to keep my make-up in place all day!

I just discovered Ebates!

Apparently I've been living under a rock! I've been hearing about Ebates and getting cash back from selected online stores, but I've been putting off signing up for some crazy reason. I always shop through Upromise, which up until today was good enough for me...WRONG! Almost every online store that I shop through Upromise is on Ebates, and in several cases, the percentage back is HIGHER through Ebates AND you get cash back every few months, rather than waiting for your toddler to go to college. Wahoo!

I just ordered the cutest embroided Disney fleece for Jackson through Ebates through the Disney Store for $12 (including embroidery + shipping!) and earned a $10 Target card for signing up and will get 7% cash back, so almost free after gift card (Target cards are like cash at my house!) and Ebates!

You can still get 8% back from Shutterfly, but you get 11.5% back from Snapfish! Almost every online retailer that I usually shop with is listed. I can't believe I've put off joining for so long...

Walmart / P&G Gift Set Deal

Be on the lookout for several P&G gift sets (Olay, Venus) next time you are at Walmart. They are quickly selling out on Walmart.com, as they include a subscription to Allure magazine (or another choice) or a rebate for $9.99, the cost of the magazine subscription. The gift sets range in price from $10-$15 online, so after coupons & rebate, this could be a nice little moneymaker with some great free products!

UPDATE! I found the gift sets in the Hamilton Mill Store! They had two Olay sets for $10 in the Christmas gift set section, formerly known as the Halloween costume aisle. I purchased the gift set and used a coupon good for $5 off any Olay lotion/soap/body wash (10/31 PG) when you buy any Secret product. So for $7.42 + tax I got the gift set & deodorant, and will submit for the $9.99 rebate, turning this into a $2.57 moneymaker!
