You connect with other users, like their bubbles, and comment. Everyone who interacts with yours by liking, viewing and commenting earns you money. I have been an active member for only a few days and made over $2! I have also seen some members earn over $1,000!

Publix – Coupon policy change at my store…Yours too?

Remember when we talked about couponers pushing the envelope in this post? Well, I went to Publix last night, and snatched up some awesome deals, including free Dial Bodywash, Yakisoba, and Sunlight dish detergent, with no problems. The grocery manager even went in the back to get a case of Yakisoba and Sunlight for me, so I wouldn’t clear the shelf. (Coupon Etiquette Rule #1)

Here is where the chicken comes home to roost, as they say. As I was putting my stuff on the conveyor belt, the cashier looked at me, with apprehension, an apology in her eyes before she spoke:

“Um, do you have any Target coupons?” She knows me so well. “If you have more than one for the same item, I can only take one now”. Really? “Yes, we are now sticking to the verbiage on the coupon, because some people took advantage”

So, even though Target takes more than one, mine does anyway, they are now setting limits. I am not complaining by any means, but this is what I meant, when I wrote the post about pushing the envelope. Policies we previously enjoyed are restricted because we have to have more. Save more. Push more. I am guilty of this too. Please break my meat packages so I can get the best bang for my coupon buck, trial sizes when it says any, etc.

Publix is very coupon friendly, so I am not complaining by any means. I just hope this is not a sign of things to come. Have you noticed your store getting stricter with coupon policies too?

Winn Dixie – Coupons.com kiosk in the store!

You probably know you can print coupons online at coupons.com but did you know select Winn Dixie stores have kiosks you can print coupons from? It does not appear that all the coupons are available to print, but the advantage to printing coupons form the kiosk, is they appear to be unlimited and you are utilizing their paper and ink!

They print in black and white, and one of the downsides is that you can only print one at a time. They are pre-cut, and while I can not attest to the quality in which they scan, they appear to be fine.

Surprisingly, no one was using it when we went in, so we were able to print a few Hormel meat coupons. The kiosk had 8 pages of coupons, whereas the coupons.com site has 20+, so I don’t know how they choose which coupons to load. It would be worth a look when a hot coupon comes out

Meanwhile, any money we saved with the coupons, we spent in the massive candy section! I will update you on my second trip to Winn Dixie in another post, remember the first trip I talked about? See if I was successful using my raincheck….

It’s summertime! – Start stocking up on drinks for the kids now.

I don’t know about you, but we go through a lot of snacks and drinks during the summer. We start stocking up before school lets out so we don’t break the bank, these treats can be really costly!

Aloha morning comes in 3 flavors, Orange CItrus, Strawberry Citrus, and Mixed Berry Citrus (this one is not available yet in my Publix) The best part is it contains 40% less sugar than other leading juice drinks.

.An interesting fact: Hawaiian punch was originally designed as an ice cream syrup! Only after people discovered it made a delicious drink after mixing it in water, did they start selling it as a concentrated juice. In 1950 they started to sell it in a ready to drink can. (Read more at Hawaiianpunch.com)

Publix currently has Aloha Morning Juice ( A Hawaiian Punch Product) on sale $3/5. Not so bad in and of itself, but let me show you how to really save!

There is a $1.10/1 coupon here on Coupon Network

There is a $1.00/1 Manufacturer coupon on Target.com here

You should be able to print 2 coupons from each location. You can do the deal using 4 coupons making your total $2.47 for 4 bottles, which is not bad, but if you have multiple computers, and a $5/30 Winn Dixie coupon (my store takes them as a competitor) you could do what I did:

Buy 18 bottles of juice at $3/5 = $30 Use 1 $5/30 Winn Dixie Coupon = $25 Use 18 $1.10/1 coupons (I trade with buddies) = $25.00 – 19.80) Paid – $5.20 for 18 bottles of juice!! You could also throw in some moneymakers such as the Sundown vitamin coupon to help further reduce your out of pocket expense.

If you have any questions about this deal, or any other coupon related question, please feel free to ask in the comment section. I love to talk coupon!

I was recently reading a post on the Happy Wives Club, (yes, I am a proud card carrying member!) and thought this was a wonderful idea. In every marriage, there are periods that either spouse may feel unappreciated. There was something in this article that hit me:

It’s not because their spouse began doing anything different. It’s because they began looking for all the things he was already doing right

Recently, it seems the more I am on Facebook, the more I see people bash their spouse. Why? One blogger had a whole post about “Stupid Sam” dedicated to all the things her husband had done wrong that day. Another Facebook post detailed the stupidity of her husband for losing his job, before finding another, and how she and the kids did not deserve this, because she was supposed to start school. Maybe this was true, but why go on and on, while your husband helplessly comments that this has never happened before? Meanwhile, she thanks all her Facebook friends for being there for her. Huh?

Anyway, I digress. This post is dedicated to my wonderful husband, my partner, and my true love, for whom I will be eternally grateful for all he adds to our life. I intend to update this post regularly, to remind myself, and him, even if I don’t say it as often as I should, my appreciation is in every action, every little gesture, every chalkboard coffee cup message (Be sure to look on the bottom )

1. Thank you for helping me up from the rubble, you know what I mean.

2. He loved me, even when my real self was 15 pounds more than my profile, it was a mistake, I swear.

3. He loves me “part and parcel” and takes care of this parcel every day as if it is a precious gift.

4. His intelligence and views on life enriches mine, like no one else.

5. He puts up with all my idiosyncrasies and neurosis, even though they have no merit .

6. He still makes my heart flutter, even after all these years.

7. The best times are the simple times, laying in bed at night, talking. I love these times.

8. He has a soft spot for pets, and I love his loyalty to our cat. It shows the type of man he is.

9. He spends time with our kids, to make them better people, and takes time to explain why things are.

10. He is technical minded, no, honey this post is not key worded for optimum search traffic, sorry. He has a brilliant mind.

11. He took care of the kids so I could finish my education, and he still does. I can work without worrying about anything

12. He spends time with the kids and I. Quality time. Nothing better than our nightly Monopoly game, no matter who wins!

13. He is the most beautiful person I have ever seen, inside and out

14. He lets me have the last piece of Key Lime pie

15. He thinks of fun summer projects to do with the kids, to stimulate their minds

Winn Dixie shopper? – I never thought I would consider it!

I dragged Steve into Winn Dixie last night, to use the 5 coupons I had for Speed Stick deodorant, making them free. I never shop at WInn Dixie, truth to be told, I don’t even know what their coupon policy is, when their sales run, or anything about them. That is the thing about me, when I find something good, I stick with it, just ask my husband!

To my dismay, the Speed Stick was cleared from the shelf, no different no matter where you shop, I guess? My eyes lit up, when I saw Barilla on sale, BOGO free, so I decided to shop a little.

I do have a WInn Dixie card, which is required to receive discounts at Winn Dixie. I have never used it though. I picked up 4 boxes Barilla pasta, and meandered over to frozen foods. I guess meandered is the wrong word, as we had 20 minutes before they closed, with my husband good naturedly rolling his eyes.

To my delight Birds Eye was on sale. We eat ALOT of vegetables and they were also BOGO, so I picked up 12 bags. On a whim, I picked up 2 bags of pretzels, that I had no coupons for.

When all was said and done, my original total was $44.74. After coupons, and swiping my Winn Dixie card it was $14.42. If there was more time, I would have mathematically calculated it better, so I could have used my $5/30 Winn Dixie coupon.

I went to customer service to inquire about the Speed Stick, and after several employees coming over, one taking me back to the shelf, and a manger looking at my coupons, it was decided that I would be allowed to come back with 2 of my 5 coupons and use them with the raincheck, since they don’t normally take expired coupons. I thought that was pretty nice.

So, all in all, it was a pretty good experience. No one made me feel funny for using coupons, the checkout experience was painless and I can go back and pick up 4 free deodorants! $14.42 is not bad for 12 bags of vegetables,4 boxes of pasta, and 2 bags of pretzels.

There is also one more very cool think my husband found there, that I will be sharing in a future post. It was not functioning when we saw it, and I don’t know much about it, so I will have to write more about that later.

The giveaway is hosted by Giveaway Gator, Sweep Wow and Couponing with integrity

Natural Dynamix was so kind as to send me a sample of their kids vitamins and nutritional supplements. Our kids love the Gummy Cuties because they tasted so good. I even had a few.

I remember as a kid I hated taking Calcium because back them we got it in this dry pill that tasted like bone. Don’t even get me started with the fish oil my mother served up with a spoon. Thank goodness those days are gone.

Today’s kids are very lucky to have their vitamins and minerals given to them in an almost candy form. Gummy Cuties were a big hit at home. Our kids would be in the kitchen every morning looking to get their daily dose of vitamins. Usually had to go look for them to make sure they take their vitamins.

You can read out review here – Nutritional Supplements for Kids – Gummy Cuties

Natural Dynamix is giving away one Bottle of Omega3 DHA/EPA and one bottle of Calcium with Vitamin D
